"A lot has..." Leander squinted his eyes.

He was very happy that he didn’t notice the furrow lines between her eyes. But she didn’t look very impressed.

"Are you angry?" he asked.

He had no reason to believe that she was angry. But she does act weird. Is there any reason for that? What could that be?

"Oh, it is the headache? Does it hurt very much?" he asked. She can’t be angry for no reason. She told Brie that she had a headache. He thought that was an excuse for her to get upstairs but maybe she really was having a headache.

Viviana’s head started throbbing out of anger. She didn’t know if Leander was serious or if he was pulling her leg pretending that he didn’t know why she was mad. He probably doesn’t care about her feelings.

Why would he know his wife would feel embarrassed and angry when her husband brings another woman to live in his house? He’s a man and he can do whatever! It’s not like she has a say!

It’s his business and she cannot interfere. She should just shut up and let him do whatever he wants to.

"I’ll massage your head. Come on," Leander held her hand and tried to stand up. His li’l wife cannot suffer alone. He will do everything to help her just like she does for him.

"You don’t have to..." Viviana stepped out of the tub. She couldn’t pretend to not care anymore.

"But I want to..." Leander held her wrist and stopped her from walking away.

Viviana was pissed. "I can massage my own head and you can wash your own back. If you want someone, I can send for that gorgeous woman from Venus Point. I bet she’ll do it better than li’l old...short, ugly me," she scowled without knowing.

She tried to free her hand from his grasp, but she was pulled inside the tub. Her face banged on his hard chest and he pulled her legs inside the tub, wetting her in entirety.

"What the f*ck, Kastello!" Viviana tried to get out of his hold. She was properly mad now that her hair got wet.

Holding her cheeks, Leander pressed his lips to hers. She didn’t want to fall for his kiss and pinched him—tried to pinch him, but he was not letting go not because she gave up trying.

The water splashed in the tub as she struggled. But he didn’t stop kissing her face. The water splashed to the floor as he swiftly made a turn and got on top of her. Viviana now leaned on the tub while he was on top of her.

As the water rippled on her neck, she glared at him.

"Why are you so cute today?" Leander smiled and leaned to kiss her more.

Viviana pushed him back. She did not like his smile. That boyish smile gets her every time. And her lips were tingling and in the hot water, she craved his warmth more.

"Don’t call me cute!" she said and turned her face.

She cannot be this weak.

"Why not?" Leander whispered in her ear.

Viviana’s hands were still on his chest, but she was pushing him no more.

’You are cute, Mousy. You are very cute. You are so cute I want to do things to you."

Viviana’s supple lips trembled with that handsome deep voice. The warmth of his breath, the firmness of his chest, and the mesmerizing smooth voice all made her docile. Her hands floated down to the bottom of the tub as she gave up struggling.

"See," he kissed her neck right under her ear. "You are cute..."

Her heartbeat started rising as he kissed her neck. Breathing became hard and she breathed with her mouth. His big hand reached her shirt under the water and within a few seconds, her shirt was undone.

"Mousy," he held her cheeks.

Viviana looked into his eyes. Her mind went blank. It was odd. For someone who cannot stop thinking, she was in a state of utter silence as if nothing exists in the whole universe except for him. She almost got scared of the silence in her mind. But his eyes... Wow!

He was so close to her face and she could see her image reflected in his dark eyes. His fingers were gently caressing her cheeks and she leaned on his hand.

His watery eyes were filled with...love. LOVE?

She blinked as she snapped out of the reverie. She is with Leander Kastello. That man will never love her. She’s become so paranoid that she thinks that he is in love with her.

Pathetic!

"What?" he smiled and kissed her forehead. She looked exceptionally adorable in his embrace just then but she came out of her trance. He wished she’d look at him like that for some more time.

"Gabriella is an old friend of ours. We were classmates and she... Lionel... he... He has-had feelings for her. So..."

Leander explained to her. He thought that she didn’t mind Gabriella but she did. He should have known. She caused a ruckus in the morning and she’s still the same silly mouse.

"Friend?" You were friends with her all this time?" Viviana raised her brows. "That makes sense..." she mumbled but Leander didn’t hear the last part.

"No, not all this time. I... I kind of stopped being her friend because... It’s..." Leander bowed his head.

It’s a very complicated story. He didn’t want to tell his jealous wife that she liked him and he stayed away from her after refusing her because he learned of Lionel’s feelings.

And there is another reason he didn’t even look in her direction. She didn’t trust him enough and went to his brother behind his back. He will never forgive her for breaking his trust and for hurting Lionel.

Viviana saw Leander furrowing his brows in pain. She wrapped her hands around his shoulders. "It’s okay. You don’t have to tell me. I can see that it’s complicated." She ruffled his hair.

Leander wanted to lean on her shoulder but she was underwater. So, he picked her up and placed her on his legs, and leaned on her chest.

Her chest is pillowy and so soft. He’d lay there forever if he could. But sadly, he has other things to look after.

Viviana rested her cheek on his head while patting the back of his head lovingly.

Lionel Waldorf is in love with her? That’s interesting...

"By the way," Leander looked at her. "How did you know she’s from Venus Point?" he asked.

Uh-oh!

Viviana gulped realizing that she had gone loose-lipped out of anger.
