Chapter 445: Chapter 445: You Haven’t Divorced Yolanda Greenwood Yet

"Mm." Adam pulled at the corner of his mouth, wanting to say something more but not knowing what to say.

Jaxon asked again, "Is it you who doesn’t want to? Or is it Yolanda who doesn’t want to?"

"..." Adam looked awkward, "Dad, you should rest early. Our matters... we’ll handle them ourselves."

Jaxon understood then, it was Yolanda who didn’t want to.

When Adam returned to his room to rest, he called Yolanda over, "Yolanda, it’s been three years. You can’t keep Adam hanging like this forever. He’s a normal man, and this isn’t fair to him."

Yolanda lowered her head in silence.

"Yolanda, do you know how much Adam has helped us? I know it better than you." Jaxon grabbed Yolanda’s hand, "Listen to Dad, don’t be like this anymore. Adam is a good person, and you must cherish him."

"Dad, I know. You should sleep now, it’s getting late." Yolanda covered him with a blanket, "Tomorrow morning, I’ll go with you to visit Mom’s grave."

"Alright." Thinking of Gemma Morgan, a wave of bitterness surged in Jaxon’s heart.

The next day, Adam drove the family to the cemetery, arriving at Gemma Morgan’s grave.

In fact, ever since Yolanda returned to Gray City, she had come alone. Although she had no memory of the woman in the photo, she felt a sense of closeness from within, knowing it was the power of their bloodline.

Adam bowed to the portrait and said, "I’ll wait for you over there."

"Okay." Yolanda nodded.

She placed Little Ella in front of the tombstone and gently introduced, "Ella, this is Grandma. Say hello."

"Hello Grandma, I’m Ella." The little girl greeted obediently, then looked up at Yolanda, "Mommy, Grandma is so beautiful."

Yolanda patted Little Ella’s head and bowed three times to the tombstone. "Mom, I brought Dad along. You two can have a private chat."

She picked up Little Ella, glanced at Jaxon, and left.

Only Jaxon remained, reaching out his trembling hand to touch the woman in the photo, "Old woman, can you still recognize me?"

He spoke with reddened eyes, "You still look as beautiful as before, but I’m slowly turning into an old man. When we meet below, you won’t dislike me, right?"

The woman in the photo continued to gaze softly, listening quietly to Jaxon’s words.

"Old woman, when you left, you were most worried about my relationship with Yolanda. But now, aren’t you relieved? Even though Yolanda has lost her memory, she’s living a good life now. Adam is a man worth entrusting. He’s good to the kids, good to Yolanda, and good to me."

Jaxon suddenly smiled, "Old woman, wait for me a little longer below. Once Yolanda and Adam settle down, I’ll come find you, alright?"

Choked up, he couldn’t speak any longer, waited until the tears stopped, and then moved his wheelchair to leave.

From afar, Adam saw him moving and hurriedly ran over to help push the wheelchair.

"Thank you," Jaxon turned his head and said, "Adam, you’re a good man. It’s Yolanda’s good fortune to live with you."

"Dad, don’t say that. Over these past three years, Yolanda and Ella have also brought me happiness," Adam paused and added, "I’ve always been grateful for my choice back then."

"Good, very good." Jaxon was visibly pleased to hear this.

The birthday banquet day arrived in the blink of an eye. Yolanda had greeted Cooper Coldson, so they didn’t invite too many guests—just family. They decided to hold a joint birthday party for the two children at Cooper’s old house.

Yolanda invited Lola Gold and Caleb Sullivan, while on Cooper’s side, it was just the Coldson Family.

Early in the morning, Yolanda and Little Ella put on new clothes. She kissed Ella’s eyes gently, "Our Ella is a year older now. Promise Mommy you’ll grow up healthy and happy."

"Thank you, Mommy. I love you the most." Little Ella hugged Yolanda’s neck tightly, giving her a big kiss.

Once everyone was dressed, the family went downstairs, where Lola Gold and Caleb Sullivan were already waiting. After a brief conversation, they got into their cars and headed to the Coldson Family’s old house.

At the location, they saw Cooper, Noah Coldson, and Little Gabriel waiting at the door.

Today, Little Gabriel wore a small suit, looking like a little adult, handsome and adorable.

"Brother!" Little Ella ran towards Little Gabriel after getting out of the car, "We’re so lucky to celebrate our birthdays together."

"Happy birthday, sister," Little Gabriel took out a small box to hand her, "This is for you."

He had decided long ago to be the first to give his sister a gift.

"Wow, let me see what it is." Little Ella clumsily opened the box, and there inside was a delicate and cute pink bunny clay sculpture.

Cooper laughed and explained, "Gabriel made this himself; he also personally chose the color to paint it."

Clearly delighted, Little Ella beamed at Little Gabriel, "Thank you, brother. I love it very much."

Behind, Yolanda couldn’t help but ask, "What gift did Ella prepare for her brother?"

The little girl blinked, obviously having prepared nothing.

"It’s okay, I’m just happy my sister is here," Little Gabriel quickly spoke up, smoothing over the awkwardness.

Thinking quickly, Little Ella took off the bunny hair clip she was wearing, "How about I give this to you, brother? This is my favorite hair clip."

The adults couldn’t stop laughing.

"Alright, thank you, sister," Little Gabriel accepted it, "I like it very much too."

Yolanda shook her head helplessly, seeing Gabriel doting on Ella like this, she dearly hoped the two children could grow up together.

"Alright, don’t stand at the door; let’s go inside," Noah called everyone in, glancing at Lola Gold, and added, "Mom and Uncle are inside, lunch should be coming along nicely."

"Let’s go." Cooper patted Little Gabriel’s small head.

Little Gabriel instantly, with great aplomb, took Little Ella’s hand and led the way.

Noah walked with Lola Gold and Caleb Sullivan behind the children, joyfully chatting along the way.

"Dad, I’ll push you!" Adam went over to push Jaxon inside.

"Let me do it." At this, Cooper suddenly spoke, glancing at Adam and Yolanda, "You two go on ahead, I’ll push Uncle Greenwood."

After all, at the Coldson Family’s old house, he was the host and should naturally play the role of host.

"Alright then." Adam didn’t contest, leading with Yolanda to the front.

Cooper moved behind to push the wheelchair, lowering his voice to greet Jaxon, "Uncle Greenwood, long time no see, how’s your health been?"

Jaxon didn’t answer, his expression looking unwell.

Cooper assumed he hadn’t heard and leaned closer, "Uncle Greenwood, how long will you stay in Gray City this time, or are you planning to settle here?"

"What did you call me?" Jaxon suddenly spoke, his tone sounding somewhat angry.

Yolanda and Adam immediately turned back, sensing something wrong.

Cooper furrowed his brows and instinctively replied, "Uncle Greenwood!"

"You brat!" Jaxon unexpectedly lost his temper, wheeling around to scold Cooper, "You haven’t divorced Yolanda yet. If you call me Uncle one more time, I’ll break your leg!"
