Chapter 424: Chapter 424: My Position Is His Real Target

After dinner, Cooper saw Elsie Adams off and returned to the living room, where he was stopped by Noah Coldson.

"You know that so-called savior thing is just Mom’s nonsense," Noah looked up at Cooper, "why did you agree to let Elsie Adams be your assistant?"

"It doesn’t matter," Cooper forced a smile, "as long as Mom is happy."

Noah could sense that Cooper was in a low mood, so he got up and walked over, "Your discussion with Adam Sterling didn’t go well today?"

"What do you mean by well?" Cooper sighed, "He confessed to Yolanda and decided to completely leave her, does that count as well?"

"Cooper!" Noah couldn’t help but feel worried, "How did your talk go exactly?"

"Nothing much." Cooper said as he went upstairs, "I’ve decided to give up."

"Give up?" Noah quickly followed, "Give up on what?"

However, Cooper didn’t answer him further.

Noah vaguely guessed something as he watched Cooper’s back, murmuring, "Cooper, you’ve really changed."

Soon it was the weekend, Yolanda Greenwood took Little Ella to meet Daisy Dawson. They had arranged to take promotional photos of Ella for the skinwear.

Today was essentially a test shoot, mainly to see how well Little Ella would cooperate and how the photos would turn out.

"You finally arrived." Daisy welcomed them warmly as soon as she saw them, "I’ve been eagerly awaiting your arrival for ages."

Yolanda apologized with a smile, "I’ve had an exhibition recently, so I’ve been busy, and Ella has been going to kindergarten."

"Understood, totally understood." Daisy led them upstairs, "Here we are at our Coldson Group’s Children’s Wear Group, our main product is the Peace Brand children’s skinwear, the one I mentioned to you before."

"Peace Brand?" Yolanda couldn’t help but repeat.

"Yes, doesn’t it seem like it has some fate with our little Ella’s name?" Daisy said with a smile.

Yolanda nodded, guessing that Peace referred to An An and Ning Ning, clearly indicating that this product line was designed by Cooper for the two children. This man... truly loves kids.

Daisy continued, "We can sign the contract today. Do you want to sign it first or do the photoshoot first?"

Yolanda wasn’t too concerned about the contract; she wasn’t counting on Little Ella making much money, it was mainly because the child liked it, and this product was indeed worth promoting.

"Let’s shoot first and see. Who knows," she smiled at her precious daughter, "maybe this little one won’t cooperate."

"No, I’ll take the photos obediently." Little Ella immediately puffed up her chest and promised.

"I also believe in our Ella." Daisy genuinely liked Little Ella and continued, "Today’s photos might not be the finished product, I need to show them to the leadership first..."

She thought of something and her tone became a bit helpless, "Sigh, we got a new Vice President, surname Sullivan, and he seems difficult to get along with. They say he’s a relative of President Coldson, but don’t worry, our Ella is so great, he’ll definitely like her."

The photoshoot started quickly. Little Ella put on Peace Brand’s skin wear and many sets of photos were taken in the studio. The entire process went very smoothly, and even the photographer and stylist praised that Little Ella was born for the spotlight.

"This little one is truly impressive, not stage-shy at all, very photogenic. This photo..." The photographer joked, "doesn’t even need retouching, can go as-is."

Daisy was thrilled, "I told you, our Ella would definitely do well, absolutely no problems."

Yolanda looked at the photos and they were indeed very well taken, and Little Ella was really cooperative, proving her decision was right.

After the promotional photos were taken, Daisy signed the contract with Yolanda on behalf of the company, everything went very smoothly.

"That’s it for today, I’ll hand the contract to the company, and I’ll show the photos to the leadership, there should be no problem," Daisy was confident, but she also remained cautious, "However, in case the leadership has new instructions, I’ll need to trouble you to come over again."

"Understood." Yolanda expressed understanding and after Little Ella said goodbye to Daisy, she took her little one away.

Daisy was particularly excited; this was the first case she worked on since joining the company, and she anticipated a big success.

She took the photos to the marketing director, who then asked her to send them to Vice President Sullivan.

"What?" Daisy was somewhat reluctant. Vice President Sullivan had just arrived and was rumored to be arrogant, causing everyone in the marketing department to be a bit uneasy.

"Just go." The marketing director sighed deeply, "Apparently someone saw this Caleb Sullivan and Richard Reyes having coffee at the café downstairs in the Coldson Group, and said Richard was very respectful to him, we can’t afford to neglect that."

He sighed again, "Maybe he’s only here temporarily as vice president, and this position is his true goal."

Hearing this made Daisy even more unable to accept it, "Why? Haven’t you always done well, and isn’t Coldson Group known for valuing talent and not relying on nepotism?"

"That’s just naive thinking." The marketing director waved her off, "Alright, stop dawdling here, get going."

"Okay." Reluctantly, Daisy took the photos to Caleb Sullivan’s office.

It was Caleb Sullivan’s first day at work today. He considered himself Cooper’s friend and saw the little Children’s Wear Company as a mere stepping stone, so he was arrogant to everyone, showing no regard for anyone.

When he saw Daisy come in, he looked down on her and said, "What do you want? Can’t you see I’m busy?"

"... Daisy looked at the magazines and coffee on the desk, completely at a loss for what this so-called Vice President Sullivan was busy with.

She awkwardly pulled at her mouth, "Hello, Vice President Sullivan, my name is Daisy Dawson, we have a skinwear product about to launch. I found a little influencer for the promotion, and we just shot the promo photos today. I wanted to show them to you."

She said as she placed the photos on the desk.

"I need to manage such trivial things?" Caleb said with full of discontent, "No wonder your Children’s Wear Company can’t achieve anything, a bunch of useless people."

Though he said that, he still pretentiously picked up the photos on the desk and, upon seeing the child in the photos, was startled, "This child is..."

"Vice President Sullivan, this child is from our Gray City. She has congenital analgesia, and she accidentally fell into the panda enclosure recently. That video went viral and attracted a lot of attention..." Daisy explained in great detail, afraid that Caleb would miss out on Little Ella, this gem.

Caleb impatiently interrupted her, "I’m asking you, what’s her name?"

"Name?" Daisy didn’t quite understand Caleb’s intent but answered truthfully, "Ella, Ella Greenwood."

"I thought so!" Caleb coldly curled his lips.
