Chapter 415: Chapter 415: Brother is a bad person, I hate brother

Yolanda was taken aback for a moment, not quite understanding Little Gabriel’s meaning, "Let him go? Gabriel, who do you want to leave?"

"Him!" Unexpectedly, Little Gabriel sat up abruptly, angrily pointing at Adam.

"You can’t talk about my dad like that." Little Ella quickly stood in front of Adam, shielding him behind her, "Brother, apologize to my dad."

"He’s not your dad." Little Gabriel shouted fiercely.

"He is!" Little Ella was scared by her brother’s attitude and started crying, shouting while crying, "He is my dad, he is my dad."

The sudden change stunned Yolanda on the spot. After coming to her senses, she immediately intervened between the two children, "Gabriel, be good; Ella, be good; no fighting."

Adam was obviously unprepared for Little Gabriel’s strong reaction to his arrival. He bent down to pick up the crying Little Ella, "Ella, be good, don’t cry, it’s okay, Daddy’s here."

"Brother is bad; I dislike brother; I don’t like brother anymore." The little girl was crying so hard that she was gasping for breath, burying her little face in Adam’s neck.

Yolanda looked back with a heartache.

"Go check on Gabriel; Ella’s with me." Adam mouthed.

At this moment, Cooper and Noah came back together. Seeing Little Ella crying, the atmosphere in the room seemed off, and both their expressions changed slightly.

"What’s wrong?" Cooper asked worriedly, looking at Yolanda, "Why is Ella crying?"

"It’s nothing, just a childhood quarrel." Yolanda went to the bedside to softly coax Little Gabriel, "Gabriel, don’t be angry anymore; if you don’t like the dinner uncle bought, mommy will get you something else."

"Make him leave!" Yet Little Gabriel continued to insist, "I don’t want to see him; make him leave."

Cooper frowned slightly, "Gabriel, you mustn’t be so rude."

He looked at Yolanda, puzzled, "Who does Gabriel want to leave?"

Yolanda was a bit troubled, not knowing how to answer.

"Make him leave, make him leave!" However, Little Gabriel seemed to have completely lost control of his emotions, pointing at Adam and starting to drive people away.

"Gabriel!" Cooper scolded him.

"Fine, I’ll leave, hmph, I hate you!" Little Ella raised her head to cry and said, then hugged Adam pitifully, "Daddy, Mommy, let’s go home, I don’t want to stay here anymore."

Yolanda looked at Little Gabriel, then looked at Little Ella, still looking troubled.

"Daddy, Mommy, I want to go home, I don’t want to stay here." Little Ella cried loudly again.

The little girl was extremely aggrieved; she didn’t understand why her brother would be so harsh to her most beloved dad. Dad had bought dinner and specifically came to visit brother; how could brother be like this?

Her crying made the adults all worried, especially Cooper.

He gave Little Gabriel a helpless look and then apologized to Adam, "I really am sorry."

"It’s alright." Adam tugged at the corner of his mouth, while comforting Little Ella, he looked at Yolanda, waiting for her to make a decision.

"Yolanda, maybe you should go back tonight." Cooper said proactively, "Gabriel’s back is fine now; I can handle it myself."

He also looked at Noah, "Big brother, you go with them too, I can stay."

"Okay." Noah understood that things had escalated to this point, and staying wouldn’t be beneficial.

Therefore, he patted Yolanda’s shoulder and said softly, "Let’s go, go back first, Gabriel will be fine."

"Alright then." Yolanda sighed lightly, feeling extremely upset. She looked at Little Gabriel with heartache, "Gabriel, Mom’s going back first, I’ll visit you again tomorrow."

Little Gabriel still looked angry, his little hand tightly clutching his blanket, not saying a word.

"Then we will head back for now; contact me anytime if anything comes up." Yolanda had to say goodbye to Cooper, then walked over to Adam, softly coaxing Little Ella, "Ella, say goodbye to your brother."

"I don’t want to." The little girl’s childish voice was still tinged with sobs.

"Alright, don’t force her." Adam shook his head at Yolanda, "Let’s go back first and talk later."

The group of people then left the hospital; Noah took a cab back to the family house, while Yolanda’s family of three took a cab back to their residence.

After getting into the car, Yolanda held Little Ella, who seemed to have cried herself to sleep, looking drowsy.

When they reached the downstairs of home, Little Ella was already asleep. Adam picked her up and walked in front, with Yolanda following behind.

After entering the home, Adam placed the child in the bedroom, gently covered her with the blanket before coming out, and indeed saw Yolanda secretly wiping her tears.

Seeing him come out, Yolanda quickly turned her face, sorted her emotions swiftly, and apologetically spoke, "Sorry about tonight."

"What silly talk," Adam poured her a glass of water, "Would I hold a grudge against a three-year-old child?"

Yolanda lowered her head, sipping the water.

Adam sat beside her, his voice gradually sounding, "How much do you know? Is there anything else you want to know?"

"You can tell me everything?" Yolanda looked up, unbelievably.

Adam nodded, "Since you’re back, I won’t think about hiding from you anymore, ask away."

Yolanda looked at him, not speaking for a while. From the moment she woke up, she was told she had a daughter, and the man in front of her was her husband.

After that, the man meticulously took care of her and her daughter, never complaining, never crossing any lines.

Over three years, Yolanda doubted their relationship countless times because Adam was too good to her, always considering her in everything, without any complaints. Their relationship didn’t seem like a marriage; many times she felt more like... a doctor and a patient.

"Adam, do you want to leave me and Ella?" Yolanda finally spoke, without asking about the past.

A hint of surprise appeared in Adam’s eyes, "Why would you say that?"

"Since you don’t want to, then what happened in the past isn’t important anymore." Yolanda put down the water glass, trying to hold Adam’s hand, but in the last moment grabbed his sleeve, "Adam, what’s happened in the past is already set, what we should care about is what’s in front of us."

Her eyes shone as she looked at Adam, "Since neither of us wants to leave this home, let’s live well together, okay?"

Adam looked at Yolanda’s eyes in surprise; he even had prepared himself to be driven out tonight but didn’t expect Yolanda to think this way.

"Okay!" After a while, he heard himself reply.

Yolanda breathed a sigh of relief; she could see Adam was struggling, but luckily he decided to stay.

She stood up, lowering her head, her face red as she said, "Then... tonight you can sleep in the bedroom, we three can squeeze together, should be no problem."

Another hint of surprise flashed in Adam’s eyes. After three years of being a fake couple, they had no substantial intimate actions.

"You’ve... thought it through?" He couldn’t help but confirm.
