Chapter 377: Chapter 377: Don’t Come to Kindergarten Anymore

The red panda was obviously startled again, widening its round eyes and warily looking around.

Someone shouted, "Everyone stop yelling, if you scare the red panda it might hurt the child, everyone quiet down."

Just as Elsie Adams was about to call out, Little Gabriel covered her mouth with his hand, not allowing her to make a sound.

"Look, the red panda is moving over, it’s moving over!"

Everyone craned their necks to look, and more people started filming videos.

In the video, although Little Ella’s face was covered in blood, her eyes were particularly beautiful, black and white, and she showed her tiny white baby teeth in an especially cute smile. Soon, she was playing with the red panda.

Obviously, the red panda also liked this cute little human, circling around her and gently nudging her with its head. Little Ella’s laughter soon filled the entire activity area.

When the staff ran in, they breathed a sigh of relief. They picked up Little Ella and rewarded the red panda with an apple, and Little Ella sweetly waved goodbye to the red panda.

Around them, applause erupted instantly, and everyone immediately liked this brave and adorable little bundle of joy.

The staff took Little Ella back, and many people immediately came forward to express concern, wiping the blood off her and giving her delicious treats.

"Thank you, uncles and aunts, thank you, brothers and sisters." Little Ella’s injuries didn’t look severe; her face had a few scratches, her arms and legs were grazed, and her left leg, the most serious, seemed sprained.

"Ella, are you okay?" Elsie Adams squeezed through the crowd, holding onto Little Gabriel.

"Sister!" Little Gabriel’s eyes turned red instantly, and tears started to fall.

"Brother, I don’t hurt, it’s fine." Little Ella wiped Gabriel’s tears away and pulled out a big smile.

The staff asked, "Hey? Are you the child’s parent? How could you be so careless?"

"I’m sorry, I’m the child’s teacher, I’m sorry for the trouble." Elsie Adams immediately apologized.

The staff member didn’t look happy, "You’re an irresponsible teacher. With such high fences, the child couldn’t have fallen over by themselves; you must not have held them properly. Quickly take her to the hospital. The child’s parents would be heartbroken to know this."

People around pointed and gossiped about Elsie Adams.

Elsie Adams smiled apologetically, picked up Little Ella, and quickly left with Little Gabriel.

After the incident, the other teachers and children had already returned to the bus, and when they saw them, they all looked worriedly over.

"Gabriel, you get on the bus and go back to the kindergarten with everyone, I’ll take Ella to the hospital." Elsie Adams instructed Little Gabriel to go back.

But how could Little Gabriel go back? He clung tightly to Little Ella’s clothes and refused to get on the bus.

Another teacher advised, "Teacher Adams, you should take Gabriel with you. Ella is still bleeding, and it can’t be delayed."

Elsie Adams didn’t care about Little Ella, but she knew that if she insisted on not letting Little Gabriel go, he would probably dislike her, and she couldn’t let that happen.

So, she gently said to Little Gabriel, "Gabriel, I’ll take you with me, but you have to listen to what the teacher says, okay?"

Little Gabriel nodded. To accompany his sister to the hospital, he would agree to anything now.

Elsie Adams hailed a taxi and took the two children to the hospital. On the way, she texted Yolanda Greenwood, "Ella got injured in the zoo, we’re heading to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital now, you should come over quickly."

When Yolanda Greenwood saw the message, she turned pale with fright and quickly took a taxi to the hospital.

Meanwhile, many people uploaded the videos they took at the zoo online, and because of Little Ella’s thrilling yet adorable experience, it quickly became a local trending topic on Weibo. The tag "Baby Melts the Red Panda" topped the list.

At the Coldson Group’s Children’s Wear Company, some marketing department employees saw the video and immediately went to find the marketing director.

"Director, have you seen today’s trending topic? That little girl is brave and so cute; she’s gone viral throughout Gray City."

"Is that so?" The marketing director took the phone and looked; indeed, the topic was hot, and many people had recorded videos from various angles, all gaining traction. Most importantly, the little girl was so cute, anyone who saw her would like her.

"Director, how about we choose this girl as the little star for our next children’s wear campaign?"

The marketing director nodded, "Okay, but for kids like her, you need to talk to the parents carefully and quickly. This kind of popularity fades fast."

"Understood, the child is definitely at one of the children’s hospitals now, I’ll go find her right away!"

After Little Ella was taken to the hospital, the doctor examined her wounds and was heartbroken. When they heard she had fallen into the red panda’s activity area, they were amazed.

However, the doctor soon noticed something was wrong. Despite treating her wounds, the child didn’t cry at all, as if she couldn’t feel pain.

Little Gabriel stayed by her side the entire time.

After finishing, the doctor stepped out to find Elsie Adams and asked, "Are you the teacher?"

Elsie Adams nodded, "How is the child?"

"There’s no major issue, but her ankle is sprained and she’ll need to rest for a while." The doctor hesitated, seemingly wanting to say more.

Elsie Adams probed, "Is there anything else, doctor? Please feel free to say it."

"Is there something wrong with this child?" The doctor looked puzzled, "She seems to... not feel pain."

Elsie Adams nodded, "Oh, you mean that. This child has congenital insensitivity to pain."

The doctor was stunned, "This child has insensitivity to pain? And you still took her to the zoo and let her fall into the red panda’s area? Do you realize that this could have killed her?"

Congenital insensitivity to pain means the patient cannot feel pain. For a mentally mature adult, it’s relatively safe, but for a child, if they get injured and can’t feel pain, they could be in constant life-threatening danger.

The doctor could hardly imagine how fortunate Little Ella was this time. Even a slight error could have cost her half her life.

Elsie Adams forced a smile, "That’s what the parents decided; as a teacher, I have to respect the parents’ wishes."

The doctor shook his head repeatedly and walked away.

Just then, Yolanda Greenwood rushed in, "How is Ella? What happened to her?"

She was about to rush into the ward but was stopped by Elsie Adams.

"Ella is too reckless. Do you know if something serious happened today, if she ended up disabled or dead, what would happen to our kindergarten? Yolanda, you should take her home and not bring her to the kindergarten anymore."

Yolanda Greenwood’s expression changed. After what had just happened to Little Ella, Elsie Adams’ attitude was too much!

She suppressed her anger, "What exactly happened? What happened?"
