Chapter 376: Chapter 376: The Child Fell In, Hurry Over Someone
Arriving at the red panda’s activity area, the children all crouched under the glass barrier, peering inside through the glass.
"Huh? Where did the red panda hide? I can’t see it," Little Ella pressed her whole face against the glass, trying hard to look inside, "Brother, did you see it?"
Little Gabriel casually glanced inside, shook his head, and continued watching over his sister.
"Ella, the red panda is on the tree." Elsie Adams walked up behind them, "Did you see it?"
"The tree?" Little Ella craned her neck, "I can’t see it, I’m too short."
"Come, the teacher will hold you, then you can see it." Elsie Adams said softly, bending down to pick up Little Ella.
"Is that okay?" Little Ella said obediently, "Teacher Adams, it’s alright if I can’t see it, I can wait until I grow up."
"It’s okay, the teacher will hold you." Elsie Adams held Little Ella’s body, trying to lift her up, but found that Little Gabriel was still holding his sister’s hand, "Gabriel, let go of Ella first, the teacher can’t hold both of you."
Little Gabriel hesitated; he promised their mom to take good care of his sister, he couldn’t let go of her hand.
"Gabriel, be good, let go of Ella first," Elsie Adams repeated.
Little Ella looked down at Little Gabriel, "It must be because brother also wants to see it, otherwise, teacher, hold brother, I won’t watch."
She was about to get down.
Elsie Adams bit her lip in frustration, holding on to her without letting go, and looked at Little Gabriel, "Gabriel, be obedient, let Ella see first, after Ella finishes, the teacher will hold you up too."
Little Ella looked at Little Gabriel, "Brother, can I look first?"
"Be careful," Little Gabriel said softly, reluctantly letting go of Little Ella’s hand. He could tell that his sister really wanted to see the red panda.
It’s okay, he’ll watch over his sister, she won’t be in danger just looking at the red panda.
However, just as Elsie Adams picked up Little Ella, she began to move to the side quickly, "There, see it?"
"Where? Where?" Little Ella widened her clear eyes, but still couldn’t see where Teacher Adams said the red panda was.
Little Gabriel was squeezed to the side by others, he pushed through forcefully, and just when he was looking for his sister, he suddenly saw her fall over the glass barrier.
"Ah!" The screams of Elsie Adams and Little Gabriel echoed together.
Elsie Adams looked panicked, "Someone, the child fell in, hurry someone!"
"Ah, ah, ah!" Little Gabriel was out of control, screaming, the barrier was so high, he couldn’t climb over it, he could only pound the glass hard, trying to break it.
"Gabriel, stop, stop." Elsie Adams hurried over to pull him back, by now his little hand was already swollen terribly.
But Little Gabriel was like a madman, disregarding everything, continuously pounding the glass, ignoring Elsie Adams’ attempts to restrain him.
The crowd watching was all frightened, some quickly went to find the zookeeper, while others took out their phones to record video.
"Look, at the city’s zoo, a little girl fell into the red panda’s activity area, we don’t know what’s going to happen..."
Some people were also very anxious, continuously looking inside, "Where’s the child? Such a small child, wouldn’t she fall to her death?"
Suddenly someone exclaimed, "There, look, the child is there!"
The person taking video quickly shifted the lens over, focusing on the little girl.
Little Ella didn’t know what had happened, it seemed Teacher Adams suddenly let go, she fell down, landed on a small tree, and then hit the ground.
She saw red liquid seeping from her palm, her mom said this should be blood, but she didn’t feel any pain.
She looked up, many uncles and aunties were watching her, she didn’t see her brother, he was too short to be visible, she felt a bit anxious, her brother surely would be worried.
She pushed her little butt and stood up, it seemed her leg was hurt too, it felt different somehow.
Someone above opened their mouth wide in fright, "Oh my, the child’s face is covered in blood, her hands, her clothes all have blood, poor thing."
"Luckily there was that small tree to break the fall, the child’s lucky, but..."
Soon someone noticed something strange, "Weird, she’s so injured but this little girl isn’t crying."
"Yes, this child’s so strong, my daughter cries for ages even with a scrape, but she’s not crying at all, where are her parents? Did the caretaker arrive?"
Elsie Adams didn’t expect Little Ella to stand up again, she cried out loudly, "Ella, don’t be afraid, the teacher is here, someone will come to rescue you soon."
She pulled Little Gabriel aside, "Gabriel, if the teacher holds you, you can see Ella."
She couldn’t let Little Gabriel keep pounding the glass, his small hand was already badly swollen, any more and his hand would be ruined, how could she explain this to Cooper Coldson?
Sure enough, when Little Gabriel heard he could see his sister, he immediately stopped hitting, obediently letting Elsie Adams hold him.
Elsie Adams felt a bit scared, she didn’t dare get close to the barrier, fearing Little Gabriel might jump in, this child was really frightening.
In the activity area, Little Ella limped around, bewildered, she couldn’t hear what was being said above, and they couldn’t hear her if she spoke, what should she do?
She lifted her little face, searching the crowd for someone she knew, she kind of missed her mom.
But she couldn’t cry, otherwise mom would be sad, she didn’t want mom to be sad.
At this moment, someone shouted again, "Oh no, a red panda is coming, my god, what should we do? It won’t hurt the child, will it?"
"Sweetheart, move away, stand over there."
"Sweetheart, don’t look into its eyes, if you look into an animal’s eyes, it might attack you."
The crowd was chattering, trying to figure out how to help Little Ella.
Little Ella couldn’t hear them, she soon discovered the red panda, "Wow, red panda, you’re so cute, do you want to be friends with me?"
The red panda was visibly stunned, this unexpected visitor left it a bit at a loss.
"Hello, I’m Ella," Little Ella was very happy, but she didn’t approach, instead, she stood there, reaching out her hand, "Come here, let’s play together."
The red panda tilted its head, Dumpling not far away seemed puzzled, it tentatively took a step forward.
"Ah, ah, ah!" People above the barrier screamed, "Oh no, it’s approaching, it won’t eat the child, will it?"
Some people were too scared to watch.
Elsie Adams, holding Little Gabriel, could only see the scene from a distance, the earlier screams had obviously frightened the red panda, it seemed more vigilant now.
Her mind turned, she suddenly shouted as well, "Ah, ah, ah, Ella, don’t be afraid, the teacher will come and rescue you soon!"
