Entangled with My Cousin's Fiancé -
Chapter 32 This Marriage Is Really Sickening
Chapter 32: Chapter 32 This Marriage Is Really Sickening
Cooper Coldson stood at the entrance to the corridor.
He had seen Yolanda Greenwood and Wesley Baker heading to the bathroom one after the other, so, as if possessed, he followed them.
Behind him blared the deafening music, and before him lay a scene of men and women entwined in passion.
He knew he should turn around and leave immediately, but his feet were as though nailed to the floor.
"Cooper, save me! Save me!"
Yolanda was still desperately screaming, but the light not far away was too strong; she couldn’t make out Cooper’s expression.
Save... me?
Cooper felt something was off. He had just stepped out when someone grabbed his arm.
"Cooper, what are you doing here?"
As if casually, Melissa Greenwood glanced down the corridor and immediately covered her eyes.
"Cooper, let’s go back. Don’t look anymore."
Yolanda watched helplessly as Cooper was pulled away.
Her tears broke free, and in an instant, she became a puppet at the mercy of others.
Cooper had left.
Cooper had just left like that.
What had she been holding on to for so long, what had she been resisting?
This marriage was even more nauseating than the rape before her eyes.
Suddenly, Yolanda went crazy with resistance, pounding on Wesley.
She hated, she despised him to the bone.
The departing Cooper and the present Wesley were equally revolting.
Then, she truly couldn’t help but start vomiting, covering Wesley in it.
Wesley Baker immediately stepped back several paces, looking at Yolanda with disgust.
"Yolanda?" Lola Gold had waited too long and, not seeing her return, came looking.
She pushed Wesley to one side and went to support Yolanda, "Yolanda, what’s wrong with you?"
She felt Yolanda trembling all over.
Lola thought of something and glared fiercely at Wesley, "What did you do to Yolanda?"
"Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t do anything. It was just a joke."
Wesley turned and entered the men’s bathroom to wash off the filth from his body.
"Yolanda, what happened to you?" Lola was terribly worried; she had never seen Yolanda like this before.
Those eyes that were always firm and lively had now turned to a dull gray.
Supporting Yolanda, she entered the women’s bathroom, helping her clean up, "Yolanda, say something, don’t scare me."
The cold water jolted Yolanda back to her senses, and she mechanically turned her head to look at Lola.
"Lola, I’m okay, I want to go home. Can you take me home?"
"Okay, home. We’ll go home," Lola supported Yolanda, and together they left Midnight.
On the way, Yolanda remained silent, just gazing out the window without saying a word.
In her mind, the image of Cooper being dragged away replayed over and over, each time her heart ached fiercely.
Lola, extremely concerned, asked her softly, "Yolanda, how about staying at my place tonight?"
"Okay," Yolanda replied, not just for tonight. She would never return to the Coldson Family.
She was determined to cut all ties with Cooper Coldson.
After being dragged away by Melissa, Cooper left Midnight.
Behind him, Melissa chased after him, "Cooper, where are you going?"
"Home," Cooper continued walking without pause.
"Cooper!" Melissa caught up and grabbed his arm, "Don’t go back tonight. Yolanda probably won’t return either."
Cooper was silent for a moment but ultimately shook off Melissa’s hand and got into the car.
Melissa was infuriated, stomping her foot in frustration. She’d been back for so many days, but Cooper hadn’t shown her the slightest bit of affection.
After such an incident tonight, Cooper was still insisting on going home.
It seemed the fire she had lit was still not strong enough.
Melissa walked back alone. At the entrance of Midnight, Wesley Baker stopped her.
"I’m telling you, Miss, can you find someone else next time? This Yolanda Greenwood seems to have some serious illness, she threw up all over me, it’s disgusting."
Melissa Greenwood didn’t say a word, but led people to a corner behind Midnight.
"It’s your own incompetence, if Yolanda Greenwood had any feelings for you, why would she resist so fiercely?"
Wesley Baker sneered contemptuously, "When will the rest of the money be transferred?"
"Tomorrow." Melissa Greenwood warned him for the last time, "Remember, you must never seek me out again. If this gets out, I have plenty of ways to kill you."
Wesley Baker watched her retreating figure and snorted.
A few days ago, this former campus belle suddenly sought him out, asking him to get close to Yolanda Greenwood, promising him 500,000.
Seducing women was what he was best at, especially since it was Cooper Coldson’s wife.
The day he reunited with Yolanda Greenwood and Lola Gold, he saw that Lola Gold was interested in him, so he took advantage of Lola to arrange meetups with Yolanda constantly.
Every time he met with Yolanda Greenwood, he would report to Melissa Greenwood.
Today’s grand play was also arranged by Melissa Greenwood, and it seemed the effect was not bad.
Alas, Yolanda Greenwood was an unromantic stone, but when he made his move just now, he found that she was more feisty than he had anticipated.
Thinking about it, he licked his lips greedily, feeling like he was about to explode below.
Cooper Coldson returned to the Coldson family villa and sat on the sofa without saying a word.
He didn’t know why he had come back, nor did he know what he was waiting for.
Jasmine King hesitated for a while before daring to speak up, "Sir, are you waiting for madam?"
Cooper Coldson didn’t reply.
"Should I call madam?"
"Call!"
Jasmine King sighed in relief, sensing that the master still cared about madam.
She immediately called Yolanda Greenwood.
The call connected quickly.
"Madam, when will you be coming back?"
"I won’t be coming back tonight, Aunt Jasmine, don’t wait up for me."
The call was hung up.
Jasmine King cautiously looked at Cooper Coldson, for a moment, she thought his expression was very frightening.
"Throw her things out."
Cooper Coldson suddenly spoke up, startling Jasmine King.
"Ah? Isn’t that a bit..."
"Don’t you understand my words?"
Cooper Coldson looked up at her, his gaze as if he was about to kill someone.
"Oh."
Jasmine King didn’t dare to resist, and immediately went upstairs to carefully pack things.
After she had everything packed, she found that Cooper Coldson had already left.
She had no choice but to leave Yolanda Greenwood’s luggage by the door, figuring it out when Yolanda returned the next day.
In the darkness, Yolanda Greenwood and Lola Gold lay in bed, neither able to sleep.
"Lola," Yolanda Greenwood began, "I’ve decided to agree to the divorce."
Lola Gold wasn’t surprised; she just felt sorry for Yolanda Greenwood, who still made such a decision in the end.
"Okay, Yolanda, I support you."
"Lola," Yolanda Greenwood suddenly remembered something, "don’t like Wesley Baker anymore, he’s no good."
At Midnight, though Lola Gold didn’t see anything when she looked for him, she had a feeling about something.
Now, hearing Yolanda Greenwood say this, she knew she was right.
"I’m sorry, Yolanda."
Lola Gold was filled with disappointment and regret; she had almost harmed her best friend for her own selfish desires.
"Silly girl, what are you saying?"
Yolanda Greenwood turned around and wiped Lola Gold’s tears, "Don’t cry, once we’re away from all this trash, we’ll only get better."
"Okay." Lola Gold sniffed, "It definitely will."
