Chapter 307: Chapter 307: Cooper Coldson Took Your Son Away

The expressions on the three people’s faces all changed slightly.

"Very soon!" Lola Gold was the first to respond, "In just a few more days, when the wound on your stomach has mostly healed, you’ll be able to go to the nursery to see them."

Noah Coldson and Adam Sterling both nodded in agreement.

"Yes, don’t rush. Your primary task right now is to recover for the sake of the kids," Adam Sterling added.

"Alright." Yolanda Greenwood swept her gaze over the few people, feeling like something was off.

After dinner, Noah Coldson greeted Yolanda Greenwood briefly before heading back to the old mansion to find Isabella Ross.

"You’re saying Cooper took the children? And hid them?" Isabella Ross was stunned, never imagining that Cooper Coldson would do something so outrageous.

Noah Coldson nodded, "Mom, you need to convince him to bring the children back. Yolanda doesn’t know yet, but those kids are her lifeline. We can’t keep this hidden for long."

"Alright, I’ll try." Isabella Ross felt that Cooper had changed a lot from who he used to be, and she wasn’t completely confident, "He probably already knows the children are his."

"It doesn’t matter whose children they are; no one has the right to take them away from their mother like this," Noah said coldly.

The next day, Isabella went to see Cooper.

"Little Cooper, it was wrong of us to keep this from you before." Isabella sighed lightly, "But since you’ve already decided to divorce Yolanda, what difference do the children make?"

Cooper’s face darkened, "You have no right to make decisions on my behalf."

"..." Isabella found the Cooper standing in front of her unfamiliar. For the first time, this son was speaking to her in this tone.

"Indeed, Mom was wrong, and I admit it," Isabella relented, gently patting Cooper’s arm. After Old Master Coldson’s passing, she treasured her remaining family even more. "Little Cooper, don’t go further down the wrong path. Send the children back."

Cooper stared at her coldly, "Was this Big Brother’s idea?"

Isabella nodded and then added, "Little Cooper, you don’t understand the importance of a child to their mother. Send them back. You can still see them in the future, maybe when they’re older. Don’t make a bigger mistake."

"Mom, after all these years, you still haven’t changed. Your heart has always been on Big Brother’s side," Cooper stood up, turning his back to Isabella. "You don’t need to waste your breath. I won’t send the children back."

"Little Cooper, I didn’t come here today to side with your brother." Isabella’s eyes reddened with grievance, "Little Cooper, I just don’t want you to regret this in the future."

"I never regret my choices," Cooper replied firmly. "Mom, you should leave now."

Isabella looked at his back, wanting to say something but ultimately shook her head and left, knowing that saying more would make no difference. Cooper would not send the children back now.

Leaving Coldson Group, she immediately called Noah, "Little Noah, Little Cooper has made up his mind. I can’t do anything."

After hanging up, Noah lingered in the hallway for a long time, utterly unsure of how to face her inside.

He had vowed to protect her and the kids, yet now that something like this had happened, he had no solution at all.

As time passed, Yolanda Greenwood’s unease grew stronger and stronger. Her intuition kept warning her that something was wrong.

That day, with Noah and Adam both not around and Lola Gold out buying lunch, Yolanda called Dr. Hall to the hospital room.

"Yolanda, you’ve been recovering well," Ivy Hall smiled kindly. "In just a few more days, you’ll be able to get out of bed and walk around."

"Thank you, Dr. Hall. This would have been much harder without your care," Yolanda said with a smile.

"It’s no trouble. It’s a doctor’s duty." Ivy Hall avoided meeting Yolanda’s eyes, knowing she had been complicit in hiding the truth about the children being taken.

Seeing Dr. Hall’s evasive demeanor, Yolanda became even more convinced that something was being hidden from her.

"Dr. Hall, I want to see my kids."

Dr. Hall didn’t dare look at her. "In a few days, when you can walk, I’ll take you to the nursery."

"I want to see them now!" Yolanda’s tone was firm.

"Now?" Dr. Hall immediately shook her head. "That’s not possible, your wound hasn’t fully healed yet, and you need to keep resting."

"Dr. Hall, I don’t need to go to the nursery myself. I’d like you to go and use your phone to video call me so I can see them," Yolanda requested.

"This..." Dr. Hall hesitated, unsure how to refuse.

"Dr. Hall, this is such a simple thing to ask. Surely you won’t refuse, right?" Yolanda pressed, leaving her no room to decline.

"Alright." Dr. Hall forced a smile. "Fine, I’ll go record them now. Wait here."

"I want to see a live video, not a recording," Yolanda added. "I want to see my two fresh little babies today."

"..." Dr. Hall was on the verge of tears. "Alright, wait here."

When she reached the door, Yolanda added one more thing, "Dr. Hall, a mother has the strongest bond with her children. Even though I haven’t seen my two babies with my own eyes, I’ll know them instantly."

The implication: Dr. Hall couldn’t deceive her by showing her other babies.

Dr. Hall ultimately said nothing and left, knowing this secret could no longer be kept.

Yolanda lay in the hospital bed, gripping her phone. After a long time without receiving a video call from Dr. Hall, she understood that something was wrong.

What could possibly have gone wrong?

Yolanda’s heart tightened, but she was certain her two children were still alive. If something had happened, she would have felt it.

When Lola Gold came back with lunch, she was stopped halfway and called to Ivy Hall’s office.

"I think Yolanda has already sensed something," Ivy Hall confessed to Lola. "What should we do? Should you tell her the truth now?"

Lola sighed helplessly, "I’ll call Big Brother and Dr. Sterling back. I can’t face this alone."

"Understandable." Ivy Hall nodded. "Let’s hope Yolanda can get through this."

Lola immediately made the call, and Noah Coldson and Adam Sterling rushed back. The three of them entered the hospital room together, with Dr. Hall trailing behind.

Yolanda’s gaze swept over all of them as she spoke with difficulty, "What’s going on? Are the children... not doing well?"

This was the worst-case scenario she could think of.

Her face was full of worry as she waited for them to tell her the truth.

"Yolanda," Lola stepped forward and sat by the bedside. "Don’t worry, the children are fine. They’re healthy and doing well."

Yolanda’s heart sank slightly. "Then what is it?"

She couldn’t take it anymore and grabbed Lola’s wrist. "Lola, tell me, or my own imagination will drive me crazy. What’s happened?"

"Yolanda, calm down and listen to me. It’s not that big a deal." Lola hesitated before reluctantly admitting, "It’s Cooper... he took your son!"
