Chapter 303: Chapter 303: He Probably Doesn’t Even Want to Acknowledge You as His Dad

Noah Coldson stuffed his phone into his pocket and strode to the outskirts of the crowd. At this moment, Cooper Coldson was surrounded and being treated like a superstar.

"Come out here!" his voice was low, with a hidden anger.

Perhaps it was too noisy around, Cooper seemed not to hear him, showing no reaction.

"Cooper!" Noah shouted angrily through the crowd, "Get out here now!"

In an instant, the entire venue fell silent. Those who were crying or talking all stopped and looked towards the Coldson brothers in confusion.

Isabella Ross immediately stepped forward a few steps, blocking Cooper and asking, "What’s wrong?"

"It’s nothing, Mom. You accompany everyone first, I’ll just have a few words with Brother." Cooper reassured her.

But Isabella saw Noah’s expression, which didn’t seem like nothing was wrong at all. She stepped forward again to remind Noah, "Little Noah, today is your grandfather’s funeral. Can’t whatever it is wait a bit?"

"Mom, it’s none of your business, today I must give this guy a good lesson." Saying that, Noah grabbed Cooper by the collar and dragged him outside.

Isabella was frightened, today’s funeral had all the notable people from Gray City in attendance, her two sons couldn’t cause trouble at a time like this.

She quickly followed, "What exactly is going on? Can’t you talk it out peacefully? Do you not want your grandfather to rest in peace?"

Noah was relentless, continuing to drag Cooper, saying fiercely, "Ask him, it’s his good deed."

"Mom, it’s fine, don’t worry, you should head back first." Cooper did not resist, allowing Noah to drag him, and even gave Isabella a somewhat forced smile.

Isabella, feeling helpless, said to Noah, "Yolanda and the child are both fine, aren’t they?"

However, this time neither of them responded, and they left the venue together.

"Aunt Ross, don’t worry about it, both Brother and Cooper know what they’re doing." Melissa Greenwood stepped forward at this time to comfort Isabella.

Isabella turned to her, "Do you know what’s going on?"

Melissa shook her head, "Cooper didn’t say, let them handle it themselves."

"Sigh, choosing such a day, isn’t it just giving others something to laugh about?" Isabella shook her head helplessly.

"Granny Ross, don’t worry," Little May, who was being held by Melissa, spoke in a childish voice, "both uncles are sensible, they won’t make you sad."

"Little rascal." Isabella patted Little May’s head and said to Melissa, "This child really looks a bit like you."

Melissa’s expression changed slightly, and she quickly bowed her head, saying, "Is that so? They say after living together for a long time, people start to resemble one another."

Isabella looked at them but said no more.

Not far away, in the center of the venue, Old Master Coldson’s coffin was placed, with Christopher Coldson and Sunny Coldson kneeling on either side, burning paper money.

Christopher withdrew his gaze and while burning paper, said, "Old Master, see, you’ve only been gone a few days, and the Coldson Family is already in chaos."

Outside the venue, Noah dragged Cooper to a corner where no one was around, and without a word, punched him.

This punch was delivered with seventy percent strength, fast and precise, causing Cooper’s head to swing to one side, his mouth starting to bleed in the next moment.

"Bastard, what exactly are you up to?" Noah grabbed Cooper’s collar again, asking fiercely.

Cooper licked the blood from the corner of his mouth, still showing no intention of fighting back, "I don’t understand what Brother is talking about."

"Don’t play dumb with me!" Noah dragged Cooper a bit closer, "I ask you, where did you take Yolanda’s son?"

"Yolanda’s son?" Cooper chuckled lowly, looking at Noah with a provocative gaze, "He is also my son, I can take him wherever I please."

"Bullshit!" Noah was really furious, "Your son? May I ask, apart from almost getting him killed several times, what have you done for him? How can you call him your child? Have you thought that he might not want to acknowledge you at all?"

These words obviously angered Cooper, he tore Noah’s hand away, "Oh, so now you’re not pretending, not saying you’re the kid’s father?"

Noah’s expression changed, he actually understood too, since the child was born, it wouldn’t be long before who the father was could no longer be concealed.

Cooper pointed at Noah and cursed, "If it wasn’t for you, saying from the start that the child was yours, would I have ignored Yolanda?"

Noah laughed in anger, "Is that so? You were going to divorce Yolanda because of me?"

"Divorce is divorce, the child is the child, those are two separate matters." Cooper straightened his clothes, "The son is mine, I won’t hand him over to anyone."

He turned and walked away in large strides.

He knew that as long as he had the child in his hands, Yolanda Greenwood would never really leave him.

Perhaps, it was the only chance he had left to hold onto Yolanda Greenwood.

"Cooper!" Noah shouted at his back, "Don’t make any more mistakes, taking the child away will only make Yolanda hate you more, is that really what you want?"

"It doesn’t matter!" Cooper didn’t look back: hate or love, I just don’t want her to forget me.

After returning to the venue, Cooper’s face was already swollen high, many people were curiously sneaking glances at him.

"Cooper, are you alright?" Melissa Greenwood walked up with concern, "Did you fight with Brother?"

Cooper didn’t acknowledge her and left in large strides.

Melissa bit her lip and turned to find Noah, "What happened?"

Noah looked at her with displeasure, saying lightly, "None of your business."

"What do you mean none of my business?" Melissa blocked Noah’s path, "Now, between you and Cooper, and Yolanda Greenwood, it’s possible for it not to be relevant to me?"

"Move aside!" Noah was in a bad mood, naturally showing no kindness.

However, Melissa remained unmoved, her tone filled with threat, "What exactly happened? Don’t force me to go tell Yolanda about your past dealings."

Noah gritted his teeth, "Little Noah took Yolanda’s son."

"Took him?" Melissa seemed slightly surprised, "What do you mean? Where did he take him?"

"I don’t know either." Noah looked Melissa over and said, "You don’t want Cooper to raise Yolanda’s kid either, do you? If you have any clues, let me know first."

He finished speaking and left first, obviously not wanting anyone to see him having too much interaction with Melissa.

Melissa pondered for a moment outside, before returning inside.

After the funeral ended, Cooper left alone in a hurry, clearly having some business.

Melissa, holding Little May, chased after him, "Cooper, are you going back to the company? Give May and me a ride."

"I have other business, I’ll have someone else take you." Cooper walked away briskly without looking back.

He got into Richard Reyes’s car, all the way he was cautious, confirming he wasn’t being followed, and entered the villa district of West Mountain, stopping in front of a small single villa at the very end.

Richard opened the car door for Cooper, respectfully saying, "President Coldson, we’re here! The child is inside!"
