Entangled with My Cousin's Fiancé -
Chapter 232: You Actually Dared to Touch This Thing
Chapter 232: Chapter 232: You Actually Dared to Touch This Thing
Cooper Coldson stood rigid, motionless.
Seeing a glimmer of hope, Melissa Greenwood immediately slipped her hand inside his pajamas, caressing him with an ambiguous touch.
"Cooper, I’ve been waiting for you all this time, I’m still a virgin, my body can only be for you..."
Suddenly, Cooper pushed her away and once again stood at a distance.
Melissa couldn’t believe it and looked at him, "Cooper, what do you mean? You say you want to marry me, to repay me, but what about in reality? Don’t you know that without the nourishment of sex, a woman is like a flower without water, only to wither faster, quickly losing her fragrance?"
She started to sob quietly, "You might as well not promise anything, and just let me truly be single for the rest of my life."
"Melissa, that’s not what I mean," Cooper struggled with his expression. "Since it’s your first time, you should cherish it even more. Wouldn’t it be better to wait until our wedding night?"
That same sentence, that same sentence again, Melissa had truly had enough of it.
She felt like there was a fire inside her, burning her up until she was almost dried out, especially after hearing that Cooper had met with Yolanda Greenwood again this morning; she was truly driven mad with jealousy.
Losing her reason a bit, she interrogated, "Our wedding night? Cooper, I’m starting to be fearful of marriage itself. You’ve already run away twice, if there’s a third time..."
She couldn’t dare to imagine, "I really wouldn’t have the face to go on living."
"Melissa, I owe you an apology, I’ll make it up to you in the future." Cooper went over and took her hand.
Melissa once again embraced Cooper’s waist, "Don’t wait until later, do it now, take good care of me, okay?"
Saying this, she tiptoed to kiss him.
But Cooper, as if seeing some great flood or fierce beast, shoved Melissa away sharply, and coldly said, "Enough, stop causing a scene!"
Melissa fell to the ground, her head bowed, tears dropping one by one.
After a while, she forced a smile, "Sorry, Cooper, I just had a nightmare and got frightened, but I’m fine now."
"You should rest well, I’ll go back first." Melissa stood up and left without turning her head.
Cooper helplessly pinched the bridge of his nose, aware that he was wrong, but he just couldn’t bring himself to be close to Melissa, at least not now.
Suddenly, he thought of his two times with Yolanda Greenwood. Those were the only two times in his life, yet it seemed like an invisible force had made a prison for him, preventing acceptance of another woman’s touch.
But what about Yolanda?
They hadn’t even divorced yet, and she had already climbed into Noah Coldson’s bed, and was carrying Noah’s child.
"Damn it!" Cooper punched the table in hatred, uncertain whether he should hate Yolanda for her heartlessness or despise his own impotence.
After Melissa returned to her room, she changed clothes while dialing Brooks Parker’s number.
"Brother Brooks, I want to see you, at that small hotel we used last time."
"Really?" Brooks, who was already preparing for bed, immediately perked up, "Okay, I’ll come right now."
"Hurry."
Brooks chuckled lewdly, "Slut!"
Melissa, like a walking corpse, changed into a dress and went to that small hotel, undressed, and waited for Brooks to arrive.
Brooks was quick to arrive, and as soon as he saw Melissa undressed, he immediately pounced on her.
He ardently kissed Melissa’s body, savoring the pleasure inside.
Melissa remained mostly unresponsive throughout, her face expressionless, and her lower body dry.
After several attempts that led nowhere, Brooks started cursing, "Come on, you were the one who called me, at least cooperate a little, won’t you?"
"Am I not cooperative enough?" Melissa said flatly, staring blankly at the ceiling.
Brooks tried a few more times but still couldn’t manage it.
Defeated, he sat up, his eyes clearly struggling before he picked up the clothes from the ground.
Thinking Brooks intended to leave, Melissa suddenly snapped, her voice icy, "What, even you don’t want to touch me?"
Brooks took out a small bag from his pocket.
He turned back to look at Melissa with a disdainful smile, "I thought Beauty Greenwood suddenly got horny in the middle of the night, but turns out you were turned away by Cooper, huh?"
"Shut up!" Melissa shouted.
"Heh, take your temper out on Cooper, don’t play games with me!" Brooks opened the bag, poured some white powder into his hand, and offered it to Melissa.
Melissa looked at Brooks, then at the white powder in his palm, and almost immediately sobered up.
"Brooks, have you lost your mind? You’re actually messing with this stuff?" She knew it was drugs.
No wonder Brooks was spending money so quickly and he seemed off in so many ways, even his appearance had changed; he was using drugs.
In an instant, Melissa felt fear and began to dress, planning to leave.
Brooks grabbed her, "What are you afraid of, this is the good stuff, I tell you, it’s a joy a thousand times better than any carnal pleasure, you’ll know once you try."
"Let go." Melissa pulled away forcefully, "I haven’t had enough of life."
"Don’t listen to their nonsense, look, I’m fine, aren’t I?" boasted Brooks, "Melissa, once you try this, you’ll know what heaven on earth is, you’ll see that Cooper and Yolanda are worth nothing."
"You don’t need to say anymore, even if I die, I won’t touch it." Melissa was not that confused.
She started getting dressed, "I need to get back."
Brooks stepped forward to stop her, "What am I to you, Melissa? A dog that you just call upon and dismiss at will?"
Melissa inexplicably felt scared, "Don’t worry, when I leave, I’ll find a woman for you. Two or three, you can pick."
"Are you talking about those prostitutes on the street corner?" Brooks laughed so hard he doubled over, "Melissa Greenwood, it seems you consider yourself just like them, huh?"
Melissa, filled with anger, slapped him across the face, "Watch your mouth."
Brooks wasn’t upset by the slap and just looked at her smilingly, "Anyway, you must please me tonight, otherwise, don’t think about leaving."
Melissa stood there naked, stunned, watching Brooks snort the powder from his palm.
In just a few breaths, Brooks’ expression changed completely.
His smile was idiotic, his gaze unfocused, and he seemed like he was sleepwalking.
He pounced on Melissa again, and this time, seemingly filled with energy, after several attempts, he finally entered.
Melissa cried out in agony, but regardless of how she hit Brooks, he did not stop.
In the end, Melissa could only lie there lifelessly as tears unconsciously fell.
She once again blamed Cooper and Yolanda for her predicament. If not for them, she wouldn’t have been driven to call Brooks in the middle of the night.
She was determined to make Cooper and Yolanda pay.
After everything was over, Melissa passed out. When she awoke, it was already the next morning.
Having not returned all night, she wondered how Cooper would react.
