Chapter 189: Chapter 189 Cooper Coldson I Don’t Love You Anymore
Today was New Year’s Day, and the Coldson Family’s old mansion was bustling with activity.
When Yolanda Greenwood arrived, she found that Christopher Coldson, Sunny Coldson, and even Jaxon Greenwood and Melissa Greenwood were there, only Cooper Coldson was absent, which made her a bit hesitant to stay.
"Yolanda’s here?" Isabella Ross saw her and immediately greeted her with enthusiasm.
Yolanda awkwardly tugged at the corner of her mouth, "I came to see Grandpa."
"Come in, Grandpa just fell asleep; once he wakes up, you can go see him," Isabella Ross beckoned her inside, then made a sign to Noah Coldson with her eyes.
"Yolanda, come in, we’ll have lunch here at noon," Noah Coldson whispered with a low voice, "Consider it keeping Grandpa company; his appetite hasn’t been good recently."
"Okay." Yolanda was quickly ushered into the living room.
Isabella Ross then went to the kitchen to direct the lunch preparations, while Christopher and Jaxon played chess, and Sunny and Melissa chatted in the living room.
Noah Coldson stood behind Yolanda and quietly asked her, "Do you want to sit in my room for a while?"
"Yolanda, come sit over here, we didn’t get a chance to really talk about last night’s show," Sunny unexpectedly approached, affectionately trying to link arms with Yolanda.,
Yolanda stepped to the side, and said coldly, "I have nothing to say to you."
She looked at Noah Coldson, "Is it convenient?"
"Of course," Noah Coldson then led Yolanda upstairs.
Sunny seemed unfazed and sat back down beside Melissa, her eyes mockingly drifting toward Melissa’s stomach.
Melissa clenched her teeth and returned the gaze to Sunny’s stomach.
Both then simultaneously scoffed and withdrew their gazes.
"What are you planning to do? Just let her give birth? You saw Isabella Ross’s attitude. If she really has a son, there’s no guarantee Isabella Ross won’t switch sides," Sunny was the first to speak.
"Is Isabella Ross’s attitude important? Cooper’s going to marry me, it doesn’t matter who switches sides," Melissa asserted confidently.
Sunny shook her head with a smile, "Can you be sure that even if Cooper learns of Yolanda’s pregnancy, he’ll still marry you?"
"He definitely will!" Melissa said through gritted teeth.
Sunny didn’t continue the topic but hinted, "But she really isn’t avoiding suspicion, just following Noah upstairs like that, as if... they’re already a couple."
As she ended her sentence, Cooper Coldson appeared, seemingly arrived back unexpectedly.
Cooper had a grim look on his face and stared coldly at Sunny, "A young aunt surely isn’t old enough to gossip behind others’ backs yet."
Sunny bit her teeth, only daring to speak venomously after Cooper walked upstairs, "Wasn’t he supposed to be working overtime? Couldn’t be that he rushed back the moment he knew Yolanda arrived."
She turned her fierce gaze on Melissa, as if berating her for not being forceful enough to deal with Yolanda.
"Little aunt should handle her own affairs first," Melissa mentioned, as she had been at the scene of yesterday’s incident when Sunny fell into the water.
Standing up, she prepared to help Isabella Ross in the kitchen, "Also, I’d advise little aunt to stop doing such things as last night, you’re not young anymore. Continue like this, and fall ill, be careful you might never get pregnant for the rest of your life."
"You!" Sunny’s gaze was venomous as she glared at Melissa’s retreating figure.
Noah Coldson’s room was very large, a suite with a washroom, seldom used by him to stay, to the extent that it was possible to find many of his childhood toys in it.
"These are all toys from when I was four or five years old, take your time looking, I’m going to take a shower," Noah Coldson put down a large box.
"Okay." Yolanda’s cheeks felt slightly warm; after all, such a situation did indeed carry a hint of intimacy.
But when she thought of the two lunatics downstairs, she would rather stay up here.
She busied herself looking at the toys for a while, when she heard someone knock on the door.
Upon opening it, she was surprised to find Cooper Coldson standing there.
Cooper Coldson glanced into the room but didn’t see Noah Coldson. "Where’s Big Brother?"
He knew the answer as soon as he asked, because rustling water sounds were coming from the bathroom.
In one swift motion, Cooper pulled Yolanda Greenwood out of the room.
"What are you doing?" exclaimed Yolanda, wincing from the pinch to her arm.
"Didn’t you leave a nightgown behind?" Cooper asserted with conviction, "I found it. You’re coming with me to get it now."
"A nightgown?" Yolanda felt completely baffled.
"Yes, the yellow one with little ducks on it," Cooper said as he turned and walked back toward the room. "Hurry up and take it away. It’s an eyesore."
"If it’s an eyesore, just throw it away," Yolanda said, remaining still.
"Take it!" Cooper’s tone was forceful.
With a look of resignation, Yolanda had no choice but to follow him.
Once inside, she stood at the doorway; after all, this was now Melissa Greenwood and Cooper’s room, and she had no desire to set foot inside.
"Come on in! It’s in the closet, go get it yourself!" Cooper said coldly.
"I’d rather not go inside; just bring it to me," Yolanda stood her ground.
Cooper frowned, "I’m not your servant. Come and take it yourself."
Bitterly, Yolanda clenched her teeth but had no choice but to stride swiftly up to the closet, where she indeed saw the yellow nightgown folded there.
The moment she picked it up, however, something felt wrong. It was a set, not just a single piece.
Instantly, Yolanda realized it must be Melissa’s nightgown. She quickly tossed it aside, her heart filled with extreme revulsion. On closer inspection, she didn’t see any other yellow nightgowns.
Cooper was humiliating her.
She whirled around with fiery eyes to glare at Cooper.
"What’s the matter? Didn’t find it?" Cooper may have not visited often, but every time he opened the closet, he saw that conspicuous nightgown there.
"Are you enjoying this?" Yolanda’s voice was nearly a growl.
Cooper was slightly confused, "Enjoy what? Did you find it or not..."
He stepped forward, looked at the closet, and in an instant also recognized that this was not Yolanda’s nightgown.
Because on Yolanda’s nightgown, the little duck at the chest pouted its mouth, but on this set, the little ducks did not pout at all.
"This garment," he turned, intending to explain to Yolanda.
"Cooper, I need you to understand something," Yolanda’s gaze was colder than ever, "I don’t love you anymore, so whoever you are with or whatever you do..."
"What did you say?" Cooper moved closer aggressively, cornering her until her back was against the closet.
Her brow furrowed, Yolanda looked at Cooper, "I said, I don’t love..."
Before she could finish her words, Cooper suddenly leaned in and kissed her, silencing her with his lips.
"Mmm..." Tears sprang to Yolanda’s eyes in an instant. She kept her lips tightly sealed, turning her head forcefully, trying to escape this humiliating kiss.
She knew that Cooper’s sudden kiss wasn’t out of love for her, but because he couldn’t stand her indifference.
Did this Patriarch of the Coldson Family, this man who stood so high above others, expect everyone to be forever submissive to him?
In the next moment, Cooper raised his hand, pinching Yolanda’s chin, forcing her to open her mouth as his tongue plunged in forcefully.
To his own shock, his body reacted immediately, uncontrollably pressing down on her, clinging tightly to Yolanda.
