Chapter 134 Cooper, Are You Falling in Love?

Chapter 134: Chapter 134 Cooper, Are You Falling in Love?

Yolanda Greenwood could feel the heat within her body rise wave after wave.

Her entire body was unbearably hot, and she was almost losing her mind; she knew she had to find a way.

She couldn’t be defiled by George Ross, she was pregnant, and she needed to protect her children.

George Ross was still cursing about something, but she could no longer hear clearly.

She felt George Ross might have torn her clothes, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw a vase on the table nearby.

Desperate, she reached out and grabbed the vase.

George Ross was startled and instantly raised his arm to shield his face, "You bitch, this isn’t over."

There was a loud "clang," but George Ross felt no pain; he lowered his arm and saw Yolanda had smashed the vase on her own head.

Seeing Yolanda’s face covered in blood, George staggered off the bed, incredulous at the sight before him, "Are you crazy?"

Yolanda was groggy; she felt the internal heat subsiding somewhat.

She barely got up, her voice weak as she said, "I... I’m pregnant."

George Ross turned pale with shock.

He stepped forward and grabbed Yolanda by the collar, "Yolanda, why pretend to be so noble? Having a baby for your lover, you truly make me sick!"

Yolanda faintly heard his words as darkness began to waver in front of her eyes.

Through the haze, it seemed someone rushed in, and George Ross appeared to be screaming in pain.

Suddenly everything went black as she fainted into someone’s arms.

The embrace was warm and familiar.

Yolanda soon lost consciousness completely.

When she awoke, she found herself in the hospital, with Lola Gold and Ruby Ross both present.

"Yolanda?" Lola’s eyes were swollen like a peach, "Yolanda, how are you feeling? Are you uncomfortable anywhere?"

Yolanda grabbed Lola’s arm urgently, "The baby... the baby..."

"The baby is still there, the baby is still there," Lola quickly responded.

Yolanda sighed in relief and collapsed back onto the bed.

"Yolanda, I’m sorry, I should never have brought you to Ully Town," Lola had never imagined that their return to Ully Town would turn into such a nightmare.

Yolanda smiled and shook her head, "Lola, it’s not your fault."

Suddenly, Ruby Ross knelt on the ground from the other side, "Yolanda, it’s Aunt Ross’s fault, Aunt Ross at that time..."

Yolanda struggled to sit up, but she felt too dizzy and immediately looked at Lola, "Quick, help your mother up."

Lola went to pull Ruby up, "Mom, please get up."

"How could this happen?" Ruby sobbed inconsolably.

"Aunt Ross, as long as the child is okay, I’m okay," Yolanda said firmly. "Don’t blame yourself too much."

She then looked at Lola, "By the way, before I passed out, I think I saw someone save me, who was it?"

She vaguely remembered it was a man.

Lola hesitated for a moment before slowly responding, "It was Noah Coldson."

She had received a call from Ruby Ross and immediately called Noah, but after hanging up, she felt that Noah was too far away to help, so she called the development team to find Richard Reyes.

When she returned, Noah was holding Yolanda, saying that Richard had taken George Ross to the police station.

So, it had to be Noah Coldson who saved Yolanda.

"Noah?" Yolanda felt surprised, "Was he also in Ully Town?"

It seemed that way; Noah just couldn’t stay away and had secretly followed.

At that moment, the door to the hospital room opened, and Noah Coldson entered, carrying a bunch of stuff. Seeing Yolanda Greenwood awake, he hurried forward.

"Yolanda, how are you feeling?"

Yolanda was immensely grateful. "Big brother, I and..."

She glanced at her belly. "We owe you a big favor again."

"Don’t say that," Noah Coldson sighed heavily. "Yolanda, it was too dangerous this time. You must come back to Gray City with me."

"Big brother, I don’t want to go back." Yolanda had made a firm decision when she left; she didn’t want to return just like that.

"Fine, if you want to stay in Ully Town, then I’ll stay with you all in Ully Town," Noah’s attitude was very firm. "I’ll look for a house."

"Big brother..." Yolanda felt uncomfortable; she didn’t want to owe Noah too much.

At that moment, a noisy commotion came from outside.

Soon, the door was flung open again—it was actually the old lady.

The old lady knelt down by the bed in an instant. "Yolanda, please show mercy, and forgive George."

Yolanda immediately turned her face away. "Leave, I don’t want to see you."

She had guessed it—the old lady had insisted on sending her back, clearly having arranged it with George Ross.

Such a mother was simply disgusting.

"Yolanda, you haven’t lost anything. If George goes to jail, his life will be over," the old lady cried desperately.

Noah Coldson noticed Yolanda’s demeanor, stepped forward, grabbed the old lady’s arm, and abruptly lifted her up. "Please leave."

The old lady struggled and grabbed Ruby Ross’s arm. "Ruby, say something. He’s your brother, don’t you want to help him? Do you want to watch him go to jail helplessly?"

"Help him?" Lola Gold yanked the old lady’s hand away. "With this kind of solution, your son won’t live long anyway."

"You bitch, how dare you curse your uncle?" The old lady went wild.

Noah Coldson spoke gravely. "It seems you are in good health. Since you are George Ross’s accomplice, I wouldn’t mind sending you in as well."

The old lady immediately shut her mouth.

Noah Coldson threw her out.

"Yolanda..." He had seen the doctor, and the child in Yolanda’s belly was already two months old, yet it was growing too slowly, almost like it was just one month.

He spoke earnestly. "No matter where you want to go, you can’t continue to abuse yourself and the child like this. I must stay with you."

Yolanda opened her mouth, resignedly said, "Let me think about it."

After it got dark, she had her dinner and went to sleep early; the pain from the scar on her head was too much, and she refused to take too many medicines, only able to bear it.

Noah Coldson stayed to keep the watch, while Ruby Ross and Lola Gold went back to move.

Later into the night, Noah Coldson heard a noise, he opened his eyes, and saw it was Cooper Coldson appearing before him.

"I want to go in and see her." In the darkness, Cooper Coldson’s voice was very low, signaling his extremely poor mood.

Noah Coldson nodded. "Be careful, she just fell asleep; don’t wake her up."

Cooper Coldson pushed open the hospital room door and entered, didn’t turn on the light, only the dim light from the bedside illuminated the woman.

Her face was pale, and the bandage on her head seeped a glaring blood color.

She seemed to be sleeping very restlessly, her eyebrows tightly furrowed, making her look particularly distressing.

Cooper Coldson’s gaze lingered on her for a long while before he turned and walked out of the hospital room.

He didn’t greet anyone and just prepared to leave.

"Cooper!" Noah Coldson called out to him from behind. "Are you really planning to keep it a secret from her?"

"Yes." Cooper Coldson didn’t turn around.

Noah Coldson furrowed his brows. "Cooper, have you... fallen for her?"
