Chapter 225: I will make you crawl on all fours and squeal!
Gobomir stood in silence, watching the black-haired male for several moments as if he didn’t hear his words.
’...what?’
The male’s words triggered an ember of heat to flicker into existence. A hot, passionate heat... the emotion spread through Gobomir almost like it was trying to force itself out of him.
"What did you say?"
His hands slowly tightened on his blade, teeth sharp as a knife, his muscles tense like he was preparing to attack. Gobomir narrowed his eyes while taking in the surroundings. Leonhardt disliked issues in his cities and towns, but there were some things that simply shouldn’t be done.
"Didn’t you hear me, goblin?"
"Speak your name, human." A click sounded.
Gobomir slipped his sword an inch from its sheath, while spreading his right leg two inches to the right, and pushing down on the ball of his foot, an ideal footing to attack.
The boy stood in his range, something Leonhardt taught the goblins. ’I will kill!’
"Tch... well, calm down, goblin." The man put up his palm, looking at Aella with a leering smile. Once again, his eyes shone with that eerie light. "I’m Kaito. The hero from another world!"
Kaito lazily placed his hand on his katana, the blade glowing as he activated a skill.
"Well? Satisfied?" He looked around, smirking as the goblins stared in silence, their bodies frozen like statues. "Haha, you are all so pitiful; you’re like children trying to fight against adults."
No, that’s just how it appeared, but all of them were in the perfect position and stance to react to Kaito’s movements, and each of the squires spent hours practising drawing their blade and swinging daily after seeing their king’s swordsmanship.
Gobomir then taught them restraint, to become knights and live among other races; he believed that this was necessary.
So now, like a pack of hungry wolves, they waited for his word, his action to move.
"Foolish human, you should repent for your arrogance and stop disgracefully using mind-manipulation magic!" Gobomir roared, his body visibly shaking.
"..."
Kaito’s eyes widened, and his smile froze. "How?"His atmosphere changed instantly, causing the air to become colder with a turbulent gale wrapping around his black sword. "You dare to judge an agent of the goddess?" Veins bulged in his neck and forehead as he ground his teeth together. "Filthy monster, know your place—Severing Gale!"
The gale of wind condensed into the blade as Kaito stepped forward, rapidly performing an Iaido drawing technique—a howl of green wind wrapped the blade, which thrust towards Gobomir’s throat like a burst of wind.
’What!?’
Gobomir’s eyes widened, his hand hastily dragging his blade free and lifting it to block the attack before the wind exploded around him, slashing at his armour and flesh with a burning sensation.
Kaito buried his katana in the goblin’s shoulder, and just as he pushed deeper to slice it apart... "Guh!"
Bang!
The pommel of Gobomir’s sword smashed Kaito’s jaw, knocking his head back as the goblin lowered his hips and, with an arm hanging to the side, he confronted the ’Hero’ with fiery eyes. "Iron Body!"
A dense blue glow wrapped around Gobomir and the rest of the squires.
"Do you honestly think you can fight me?" Kaito steadied his katana, the tip trembling as he faced the sharp gaze of Gobomir. "I could slaughter your entire race and nothing could stop me!" He slipped his right leg back, twisting his blade and lunged at the wounded goblin.
"Master Gobomir!"
A squire called out with a tense shout as the other squires moved in unison to protect their master.
"Don’t move!"
Gobomir shouted as he stepped to the side, flicking his sword to deflect Kaito’s attack.
"Humph! Is that all you can do!? Fight against me!" The hero roared, slashing wildly while his attacks grew stronger and faster. "Come on, fight back instead of blocking; I know you can do it..." His eyes flashed again with the same eerie light as before.
’This boy is drunk on his own power...’
Gobomir grimaced, the burning pain in his shoulder made it difficult to use his full power, but he didn’t use his sword to kill, but to protect the people around them from harm.
Clang!
’His Majesty asked me to take care of the city!’
He lifted his sword, gripping it tightly.
A dense heat billowed in his abdomen, mana surging through his veins... something goblins struggled to achieve due to their broken and twisted mana pathways.
Yet Gobomir broke that conception.
Kaito’s black clashed with his, the force from his iron body doubling Gobomir’s bone and muscle density and force for a short time, so when their blades clashed.
The lean human stumbled back.
"Argh... damn it!" He spat, never taking the goblin seriously.
"W-What is that!?"
"Wow... a goblin is using magic?" Aella muttered with a sense of awe.
That’s when Kaito stopped and paid attention to his opponent, maybe for the first time. "H-How can you use Aura!?"
Aura, this was the form that most swordsmen and melee fighters used their limited mana, coating their weapon with highly condensed magic into a thin film of light... depending on the user, sometimes elements or effects attached.
Gobomir’s sword flickered with a black flame.
"Just like His Majesty..." Gobomir whispered to himself... his muscles tight, chest racing and sharp stabbing pains spreading through his body, but the black flame made his soul scream.
The aura plugged his wounds, temporarily stopping the blood flow.
Then he looked down at Katio, who kept screaming, like a scared child.
"Shall we continue, Boy?"
Gobomir’s words echoed through the city square, a crowd now watching them, along with a group of nervous priests trying to push through. He looked awe-inspiring, clad in crisp leather armour, a blade glowing with black fire, and a calm, yet commanding aura spread over the surrounding people.
Kaito gritted his teeth and took a step back. "Damn monster..." He gripped his blade so tightly that he thought it might snap and looked at Aella, "bitch it’s all your fault! I will make you crawl on all fours and squeal like the pig loving whore you are!" His words twisted like venom from a viper.
’What... what is he saying?’
Aella clenched her fists.
’How dare this scumbag speak like this! Wait... pig loving whore... I only like handsome men like Leon!’
Aella tilted her head and observed Kaito with narrowed eyes, "Huh, sorry but I don’t like men with small cocks." The dark elf’s words were deep and penetrating as they echoed off the buildings.
Men with small cocks
with small cocks
small cocks...
"It’s not small, it’s AVERAGE!" Katio screamed as he rushed at Aella, slicing downwards. "Die, bitch!"
Aella’s eyes didn’t tremble, her feet shifted, and her waist lowered, primed to retaliate with two daggers in the palm of her hand; however, before the blade came close, a torrent of flames engulfed Aella’s vision.
Clang!
"Double Strike!"
Gobomir’s first strike deflected the blade with a vertical slash, then twisting his wrists, the second slash cut towards Kaito’s shoulder, his blade passing along the katana like an extension to reach its master.
"Tch!" The boy’s eyes went wide with disbelief. He retreated hastily before Gobomir could finish his combo. "Tough bastard..." Kaito’s left hand slipped free and pointed at the goblin gathering orange flames into a small sphere.
"Too late!" Gobomir grunted.
His body suddenly accelerated. "Heavy Slash!" he cried, a hand holding his blade high as he brought it down in a single motion. A black flame expanded from the blade and formed a wing made of fire.
"Fuck... Firebolt!" The small fire sphere shot forward from Katio’s hand.
However, the goblin knight ignored it, stepping into the blast.
The moment the weak bolt hit Gobomir’s iron body, it was as if someone threw a rock at a castle door. It shattered into sparks of mana, dispersing into nothingness and leaving the goblin unharmed.
However, his blade sank into the flesh of Kaito’s shoulder, identical to the wound on his right shoulder, "We hold a certain motto in my knight order... An Eye for an Eye!"
"W-Wha—Arghh!"
Kaito squealed like a slaughtered pig, his pupils dilated as the blade dug into his shoulder, blood spurting from the wound. He fell to the ground with a pale face, and finally, the priests managed to reach the inner circle.
"W-Wait!"
"Do not kill our nation’s hero!"
Gobomir looked at the two men and noticed the emblem, grumbling. "Tsk..." He couldn’t help it. With a single motion, he dragged the sword from Kaito’s shoulder, twisting it slightly, causing the young man to cry out in agony.
"Stand back, we must heal the hero!" The second priest bellowed.
"How could he be this stupid? We’ve warned him several times..." A male who stood with the group of clergymen wearing a noble’s attire shook his head. "It looks like we messed up choosing this fool."
The group of goblin squires soon rushed to Gobomir, who panted heavily, watching the clergymen with a sharp, unwelcoming gaze.
’Master, how did you know?’
