"Young Master Yannis, President Griffith has obtained a list of all the striking employees and seems to be planning personal visits to their homes! Do we need to inform the Grand Master? Should we take action?" One of his subordinates reported back, waiting for a reply.

With his refined and handsome face, Yannis Griffith said solemnly, "No need."

"But Young Master Yannis..."

"I said no need, didn’t you hear?"

"I’ll take responsibility! Out!"

"Yes!"

As the man left, Yannis Griffith lit a cigarette, his long eyes slightly narrowed, as though pondering something.

Cherish Turner never thought that such a high and mighty man would actually visit each employee of the company. The Griffith Corporation employed nearly a thousand people, and having a third of the staff on strike made up almost three hundred people. Visiting each and every one? What kind of concept was that? But William Griffith had done just that - following the list, he went from house to house to comfort and consult.

The car stopped in front of an old building, and the driver immediately opened the door.

As the two got out of the car, William Griffith asked, "What’s the employee’s name?"

"Channing Coleman, Development Team Leader, 56 years old," Cherish Turner said softly as she flipped through the records.

William Griffith nodded silently and walked into the building.

The old building had a crowded and narrow staircase, dark and damp. Since this was an old residential building, most of the residents here were elderly, who were reluctant to throw away their belongings, filling the corridor with all kinds of things. William Griffith walked ahead while Cherish followed. After some searching, they finally located Channing Coleman’s apartment.

The moment the apartment door opened, Channing Coleman saw the man standing outside and was instantly stunned, "Young Master Griffith?"

"Leader Coleman, hello," William Griffith extended his hand to him.

"Why are you here? Young Master Griffith, please come in and sit down!" Channing Coleman seemed very excited, quickly taking his hand.

William Griffith’s personal visit made Channing Coleman feel a bitter-sweet emotion. No one probably ever thought that William Griffith would visit the employees in this manner. The two talked for a while, and without waiting for William Griffith’s permission, Channing Coleman firmly said, "Young Master Griffith, I will return to work tomorrow. Please rest assured."

"Griffith Corporation’s success depends on all of you. Welcome back!"

Seeing the two shake hands and reconcile, Cherish Turner finally breathed a sigh of relief.

An entire afternoon, Cherish Turner accompanied William Griffith as he continually visited striking employees’ homes. Time passed unknowingly, and the sky grew dark. After nearly forty visits, it was already 8 pm. As the car drove on the road, Cherish Turner said solemnly, "President Griffith, it will be quite difficult to visit all three hundred employees within three days at this rate."

"It’s up to us." William Griffith seemed relaxed and unconcerned, as Cherish merely replied with a "Hmm".

His gaze suddenly glanced forward, shouting, "Stop the car!"

The driver, Chip, immediately stopped by the side of the road. Cherish looked puzzled at William getting out of the car and saw him approach a small shop by the side of the road. It was a rice ball and dim sum shop, with hot steam coming off the bamboo steamers. William then turned around and sat back in the car. He handed one serving to Chip, who gratefully accepted it.

"Eat up; getting sick from hunger won’t do any good." William handed the other portion to her, saying coldly.

"Thank you." Cherish took it with both hands, warmth spreading through her palms. She took a bite and suddenly looked at him, asking, "Aren’t you hungry?"

"Hungry." He spat out a single word.

"Why don’t you eat? I’ll share one with you!" Cherish said softly, handing him one rice ball.

William Griffith’s gaze lingered on her, "I want to eat something else."
