Loud, disputing voices came from the television, and even with bodyguards blocking, there were still people who rushed forward, putting microphones in front of William, hoping he would speak.

William calmly walked out of the airport with his usual composure.

The bodyguards blocked the road, and William was about to get into the car. However, he suddenly stopped, slowly turned to face the reporters, and the camera perfectly captured his handsome face filling the screen. He spoke firmly to an unknown person, "The Griffith family will not collapse!"

The apartment door was opened by someone using a key, and Elijah Butler returned with a magazine.

The magazine gossiped about the Griffith family’s marriage refusal drama. Elijah silently sat next to Cherish, unusually focused on reading the magazine. Young lady? Cherish asked in surprise, "Who?"

Elijah chuckled and reminded her, "Don’t you have a job interview this afternoon? You’d better hurry up and get going."

Her phone rang on the table, spinning. Due to the relationship between Demon Manga and the Griffith family, Cherish decided to leave Demon Manga and find a different job. So she was job-hunting recently.

Just as Cherish was about to pick up the phone, Elijah said, "Some manager is here to pick you up; hurry."

The "manager" Elijah mentioned was Yannis Griffith.

Cherish quickly gathered her things and went downstairs, where Yannis’s car was parked outside the apartment complex. She got into the car, and Yannis asked, "Where’s your job interview today?"

"Strawberry Comics. Elijah also has an interview there. Can you take us both?" Cherish smiled and said, "Yannis, thank you."

"Why are you being so polite? I have nothing planned anyway." Yannis gripped the steering wheel and stepped on the accelerator. As the car rounded a corner, he looked straight ahead at the traffic and said softly, "He came back today."

Cherish glanced out the window and whispered, "I saw it on TV."

After flying back to Haicheng from the United States, William immediately went to the Griffith family home.

Robert Griffith was furious about Yannis’s marriage refusal.
