"What’s wrong? Sister Grace, did I do something to upset you?" Cherish Turner asked softly.

Grace Harper kept silent for a while before saying, "Cherish Turner, Chloe Turner is your elder sister, isn’t she? Perhaps you don’t have a strong sisterly bond, but you should still care about her to some extent. She’s sick, and you don’t even know about it. She’s alone in the hospital, isn’t that quite pitiful? Cherish casually asked, "Is the administration department very busy?"

Grace looked at the numbers going up and sighed, "Yannis hasn’t been in the company frequently lately, so I have to handle some things in his stead. You know how busy the company has been recently."

After Grace left, Cherish felt relieved, but upon learning about Chloe’s illness, she couldn’t help but start to overthink.

So, Chloe was sick.

Before leaving the Griffith office back to Demon Manga, Cherish went to the deputy general manager’s office to submit documents. She knocked on the door and entered, only to see William Griffith frowning while handling official business. When he saw her, his tense expression eased a bit. Cherish gently placed the documents on the table, pondered for a moment, and then softly said, "I heard... Chloe is sick. Aren’t you going to visit her?"

William looked up at her and said in a deep voice, "Come here."

Cherish obediently walked towards him, and he asked again, "If I go visit her, won’t you be angry?"

Cherish shook her head, "After all, she was someone you liked before."

William suddenly pulled her into his embrace, gently caressing her body. Cherish leaned her head against him, a faint smile on her lips.

"Let’s go together then," he whispered into her ear while holding her.

Go together? Wouldn’t that upset Chloe even more?
