Domineering Love
Chapter 427 - 427 428 Her Answer

Chapter 427: Chapter 428: Her Answer Chapter 427: Chapter 428: Her Answer “Huh?” Cherish Turner muttered in doubt.

“Is it okay?” he asked seemingly without reason.

“What’s okay?” His train of thought was too abrupt; she didn’t understand and responded with a frown.

He fell silent for a moment, the various sounds around them booming in her ears. His deep voice, however, struck her like an arrow, erupting like thunder, “Will you be my girlfriend?”

He, he, he… what did he say?

Cherish Turner was stunned, without time to think.

William Griffith turned to look at her, his gaze reflecting her unconcerned face. He waited for her answer, the coldness in his handsome face finally showing a crack – a never-before-seen anxiety.

The hustle and bustle around them seemed like irrelevant scenery.

“Cherish?” William Griffith called out again.

“…”

“Will you be my girlfriend?”

“…”

“Is it okay?”

“…”

“If you don’t speak, I’ll take it as a yes?”

“…”

Cherish Turner returned to her senses, seeing his rare nervous anticipation, she playfully decided to tease him. So, she stayed silent and turned to leave. Her sudden departure startled him, thinking she was rejecting him. He hurriedly chased after her, continuously calling out, “Cherish? What’s wrong? Is it okay or not?”

“Cherish.” Finally losing his patience, and fearing her refusal, he took larger strides, using his tall body to block her way, preventing her from leaving.

At this moment, William Griffith stood before Cherish Turner, like a child wanting candy but unable to get it. His furrowed brows and slightly pursed sexy lips became adorably charming in her eyes.

“Hehe.” She couldn’t help but laugh, “William Griffith, are you a fool?”

This stunned him, but she reached out her hands and without hesitation, embraced him.

“Didn’t you ask already?”

William Griffith was taken aback, but then he remembered that he had indeed asked her before. He had said, “Can I pursue you?”

She rested her chin on his shoulder, gently nodded, and said with all seriousness, “Yes.”

Amid the bustling crowd and twinkling neon lights, their surroundings quickly became a blur.

In one corner of the street, the embracing tall man and petite woman looked like lovers who had just poured out their hearts to each other, happily cuddled together. The woman’s fair face was full of radiant smiles. A smile crept onto the man’s face, his handsome profile exuding a sense of joy as if he was cherishing a beloved treasure.

A silver-gray Porsche slowly passed by on the road. Chloe Turner, who had been sent home by Yannis Griffith because William Griffith wanted to take care of Cherish Turner, was sitting in the passenger seat and saw the embracing couple on the street. Her calm expression turned to shock, as if she was struck, and then slowly calmed down again. She diverted her gaze, looking straight ahead. The car turned a corner, leaving everything behind but the image of the two could not be erased from her mind.

“Mr. Griffith,” Rose Solomon said quietly. Her calm voice suddenly rang out.

Yannis Griffith held the steering wheel with both hands, driving the car. When he heard her call, he replied absent-mindedly with a “Hm.”

Chloe Turner stared at the lights of the street lamps strung together into a sea of light, and spoke solemnly, “Mr. Griffith, don’t you like Cherish a lot?”

Yannis Griffith didn’t respond but continued to drive attentively.
