Chapter 425 - 425 426 Whats Wrong with Being My Girlfriend

Chapter 425: Chapter 426: What’s Wrong with Being My Girlfriend Chapter 425: Chapter 426: What’s Wrong with Being My Girlfriend When had they ever seen William Griffith be so gentle and considerate?

Cherish Turner drank the soup with her head down, not noticing everyone’s strange reactions. After taking a sip, the soup was indeed delicious; the chef was really skilled. Suddenly, she felt like learning from the chef so she could cook delicious soup for him.

“Is it good?” William asked, his eyes focused on her.

Cherish nodded and whispered, “It’s good.”

“Eat less rice and more vegetables,” William said, picking up a piece of chicken for her.

“So, can I have some ice cream?” she asked softly, but she really craved it.

William thought for a moment and uttered two words, “One bite.”

“Big brother!” Hailey exclaimed, unable to bear it. “Aren’t you exaggerating?!”

William remained silent, his domineering tenderness making the women envious. Cherish lifted her head slowly, realizing that everyone was staring at her and that she had become the center of attention.

“Two bites at most,” William asserted adamantly.

Sitting nearby, Grace Harper worried that Chloe Turner would feel provoked by this, but was taken aback by William’s words. She had been in the Griffith Family’s house for some time and knew a little about William’s personality, but she never expected him to be so overbearing.

Meanwhile, Hailey rolled her eyes but couldn’t help teasing, “Being your girlfriend must be miserable. Even eating ice cream is restricted.”

Then, her gaze seemed to shift toward Chloe, who was sitting nearby. Chloe’s face must have darkened at this point.

The atmosphere was strange and subtle, and no one dared to ask about their relationship, but they were all curious, especially Yannis Griffith.

He considered Chloe as an opportunity, perhaps a chance to win Cherish over.

“Two bites, at most.” Edward Smith, who had been silent, took a sip of his wine and matched William’s cold and overbearing tone.

Hailey turned her head and smiled at Edward, her laughter bright and captivating.

Edward glanced at her slowly, and gently clinked his wine glass with hers. Their intimate gestures seemed natural, and there was nothing odd about it.

To outsiders, they were already a loving couple, sweet and affectionate.

However, this scene struck Sam Turner’s eyes, and he clenched his drink, almost crushing the cup.

Chloe’s smile changed subtly, and she looked at the dish in front of her without making a sound.

On the dinner table, only Yannis appeared unchanged, composed and elegant. He poured himself a glass of red wine, carrying a self-amusing air.

Girlfriend? Cherish was already a bit shy. Earlier, she hadn’t realized that everyone was looking at her. Now, after hearing Grace’s comment, she felt more embarrassed. She stealthily glanced at him beside her; his side profile was still handsome, his cool face tensed, revealing no emotion.

Cherish lowered her head, not knowing what to say. She knew about Chloe’s feelings and that she was probably very uncomfortable at the moment.

William paid no attention to everyone’s strange reactions. It seemed natural for him to do so. He picked up another piece of fish and put it into Cherish’s bowl. “Eat the fish,” he said in a deep voice.

Cherish merely replied with a soft “Mhm” and ate.

He didn’t contradict anyone but didn’t agree either.

William put down his chopsticks, looked at Grace, and asked coldly, “What’s wrong with being my girlfriend?” He paused and added two more words, “Very miserable?”

His tone was slightly confused and lost, as if he was genuinely puzzled.
