Chapter 392 - 392 393 Whats the Relationship

Chapter 392: Chapter 393: What’s the Relationship Chapter 392: Chapter 393: What’s the Relationship Cherish Turner stopped in front of the piano shop, and through the window, she saw the pianos displayed inside. She suddenly remembered that Yannis Griffith had once mentioned he could play the piano. However, it seemed she had never seen him play in person before. At that moment, as she looked at the pianos in front of her, she inexplicably yearned to hear him play a piece.

“William Griffith,” Cherish called out, turning her head to look at him, “Can you play?”

William spoke in a deep voice, “Do you want to listen?”

“Yes!” Cherish nodded with excitement.

William held her hand and walked into the piano shop. The clerk hurriedly came to greet them as William took off his suit jacket, and Cherish held it in her hand. He strode straight towards the piano and sat down on the piano bench. His slender fingers lightly touched the keys, and he suddenly started playing, moving up and down without stopping.

Under the light, his side profile appeared blurry and exceptionally handsome.

This William Griffith, playing this piano piece, just for her.

Cherish quietly looked at him, not knowing how well he was playing but still recognizing that the piece he was playing was Ode to Joy.

The piano’s ding-dong sounds filled the air, as if the whole world was only left with these notes.

No one noticed the shop door being pushed open.

A beautiful woman with long hair walked in. She stood at the entrance, looking at the man who was playing the piano inside the shop. Her delicate face showed astonishment, surprise, and wonder.

“Miss Hall, where do you want the piano to be delivered?” The clerk’s shout rang out.

The sudden shout instantly broke the serene and romantic atmosphere.

The sound of the piano stopped abruptly, and his fingers remained in the position they had been playing. His back stiffened, but he didn’t turn his head. William’s side profile, illuminated by the light, became even more blurred in Cherish’s eyes, etched in her mind like a permanent still image, one that she could never forget in her lifetime.

“Miss Hall, the piano you ordered is here. Please check the sound quality and fill in the address, and we will deliver it to you tomorrow,” the clerk walked up to the beautiful woman with a smile.

However, the woman’s eyes were fixed on William, who was sitting on the piano bench, and she didn’t snap out of her trance for a long time. She moved her lips, but couldn’t make a sound. Her bright eyes became momentarily hazy, and her grip loosened, causing the bag in her hand to fall to the ground with a muffled sound.

“Miss Hall?” The clerk called out in confusion, bending down to pick up the bag for her.

The muffled sound startled Cherish, and she turned her head to look, only to see a woman in a simple-colored dress standing at the entrance. The woman had long, smooth hair that shone with a dark luster even in the dim light. Her round, bright eyes seemed as if they could speak without making a sound. Her high-bridged nose and lightly pursed, red lips eventually curved into a smile.

Her smile was as warm and gentle as the spring breeze.

This woman… Cherish felt she looked familiar, like she had seen her somewhere before. She racked her brain for a moment, and suddenly a particular scene came to mind. Yes, it was that billboard – the one Yannis Griffith had stared at for a long time. This woman was the lead ballet dancer on that billboard.

“I’m sorry,” Emma Hall said softly, taking the bag from the clerk’s hand.

William stood up and slowly turned around.

Just as Cherish was about to walk up and hand him his suit jacket, a woman’s soft call came from behind her. This address made Cherish’s steps halt briefly, surprising her as she turned to look at the woman once again. The beautiful woman stood there, elegantly adorned, and smiled as she called out, “William Griffith.”
