Chapter 390: Chapter 391: Finally Returning Chapter 390: Chapter 391: Finally Returning And this man, it turned out to be Yannis. Wasn’t he supposed to be at the pub?

Cherish Turner looked at him in surprise, just two or three meters away from him. But Yannis seemed not to notice her, continuing to stare at the billboard. She couldn’t help but wonder, what was on the billboard that made him show such an expression, completely different from his usual casual demeanor.

Cherish took a step forward and walked towards him.

It was a billboard over one meter tall, illuminated brightly by the lights.

On the billboard was a woman dressed in a white ballet skirt. Her figure was well-proportioned, slender, and very slim. The tip of her ballet shoes touched the ground, one hand extended and the other raised above her head. Her black hair was coiled up, and she wore

a princess crown, slightly tilting her head, exposing the graceful curve of her neck, her pose exquisite.

She had a beautiful, delicate face, as if a perfect masterpiece by God, dreamy.

Just gazing at her, she was so beautiful that men would be infatuated and women heartbroken.

Yannis Griffith raised the corner of his lips slightly, then suddenly withdrew his gaze. As he turned his head, he saw Cherish standing beside him. He paused mid-step and looked down at her intently.

“Senior.” Cherish turned to him and politely shouted.

Yannis stared at her for a moment, making Cherish furrow her brows in puzzlement, even wondering if there was something dirty on her face.

But he raised a smile and suddenly said, “What a coincidence.”

“Yeah, quite a coincidence.” Cherish replied, not knowing what else to say.

“There’s a party at Griffith tonight, aren’t you going?”

“No, I am a bit tired today. I want to go home early. You guys have fun.”

“Then go home quickly. Girls shouldn’t run around, especially when you’re alone.” Yannis said somberly and warmly. How could he not know what happened that day on the cruise ship?

He lost again. Just one step too late.

Cherish nodded blankly, watching him walk quietly past her. After a few steps, a man’s voice floated behind her ear, accompanied by faint footsteps, “Finally coming back.”

Watching Yannis’s figure disappear, Cherish looked up in a daze and looked at the billboard again.

Was it that girl? The one who danced ballet?

Cherish thought of the girl’s appearance just now in her heart, and suddenly felt a strange feeling. She clutched her clothes tightly, and in her pocket, that silver ring was still with her, never leaving her side.

The lively PUB, filled with loud music, had turned talking into shouting. A group of people were making a ruckus as if they had gone crazy, as if it was endless and had to vent. It was no wonder, after working tirelessly for days, they finally had time to catch their breath and wanted to go wild before stopping.

A few usually serious-looking men became adorable and funny when they started singing after a few drinks.

Grace Harper and a few female colleagues were together, playing a drinking game.

Grace saw Hailey Griffith hang up the phone and asked loudly, “Hailey, is Cherish coming?”

Hailey shook her head and gave her a small smile. She put her phone on the coffee table, reminding Grace not to forget to take it. Seeing this, Grace didn’t say anything more and continued to play around. Hailey picked up a glass of red wine, filled her wine glass in front of her, and handed one to the man beside her, “Have a drink.”

“Thanks.” Edward Smith took the wine glass, his warm and handsome face not showing any gloom, so carefree. Apart from a touch of faint loss, everything was fine. He sat quietly on the sofa, chatting with Hailey while drinking.

“Why hasn’t my second brother arrived yet? I’m anxious to death, wasn’t he said he would be back soon?”

But in the end, Yannis Griffith never appeared again.
