Dimensional Tycoon: I Make Trillions in Every World -
Chapter 76: Promise
Chapter 76: Promise
[You don’t master the techniques. You...] the system started and paused as if holding its breath.
[You acquire them. For the sake of selling them, you are armed with the ability to understand how they work. While others struggle and strain to use power, you create conditions for them to exist.
This is one of the most important aspects of being a Tycoon.]
Noa listened carefully.
If it wasn’t the over-the-top robotic voice that occasionally cracked, he would have thought that its consciousness had returned.
But no.
It still sounded like a recorded voice that the system had left for him.
’Why do I have a hunch that it would come back today?’ Noa thought, considering what he had just heard.
Being a tycoon allowed him to easily master techniques.
It sounded like a joke.
What was the point of knowing how to execute the techniques if he had no qi and power to actually perform them?
And even though he wanted to cultivate his people, Noa had no intention of teaching them himself.
Not only did it sound boring, but it was also a hassle.
What’s more, he didn’t want to act like a divine master and instruct others.
It wouldn’t meet with the persona he had built up this far.
Shaking his head in disapproval and deciding to remain a tycoon, Noa glanced at Mia, eyeing her progress.
It seemed like there was no need for him to guide her anymore.
She was a monster for a reason.
Each second, her movement flowed even more naturally, and her control over qi soared through the roof.
She was growing faster than he had believed.
It caused her eyes to brighten up every time a fire blast left her palm.
"This is what I was talking about. This is exactly what I wanted to experience in this world," she said finally, after exhausting her qi reserve.
Noa’s products could fill her tank, but Seris reminded her suddenly.
"The limit is approaching. Unfortunately, you have spent too much time on other matters, and it’s time for you to leave. But worry not, you can always come back tomorrow."
Mia shrugged.
She didn’t even try to argue—she was that overwhelmed, that exhausted.
Noa, however, nodded slightly.
"My business is already done here," he announced, glancing at his loyal employees. "You three can come here whenever."
Xue Hanly exhaled.
Watching Mia, she wasn’t sure if she would be allowed to use this place.
But hearing Noa’s statement, her heart skipped a beat.
Qing Xuan had almost the same reaction. She, too, wanted to experience this amazing hall and learn the best techniques, but she didn’t doubt that Noa would allow them.
For one, he had summoned this place with another divine being in a sect.
Seris, as he had named her, seemed like an entity who didn’t belong to his planet as well, and the pressure she exuded almost made her kneel.
But someone at her station had called Noa master.
She obeyed and worked for him, and seeing her, Qing knew that if Noa decided to unleash his presence as well, the world might be doomed.
So, thinking that such a great being would deny them access to this building felt wrong.
Chen Hao shared her opinion.
He knew how generous Noa was and waited for the next time he could visit this place.
As everyone turned away toward the door, Noa lingered his gaze on Seris.
She was simply breathtaking.
Starting from the aura she carried and the features she bore, Seris looked like nature’s finest masterpiece.
But Noa doubted something as insignificant as nature could have truly birthed her.
"You will come back, right?" she asked, her voice softening.
Noa didn’t just stop to marvel at her beauty—he had sensed that there was something she wanted to say for a moment.
He started with a chuckle.
"Of course. But before that, I hope you can look after her," he said, pointing at Mia.
The woman didn’t answer.
Her burning eyes, showing her dedication, were enough for Noa.
Either it was through the connection he had with Seris because of the hall, or there was something else. But he felt that she was a trustworthy ally.
After that, he left the hall, sensing the woman’s passionate gaze on his back.
It had been well over an hour since the building had emerged.
Now the sleeping quarter seemed to be nearly completed, with only a few finishing touches remaining. Maybe that’s why Wei Rou and Feng Fan greeted him upon exiting the building.
They didn’t question its use.
Nor did they spend too much time eyeing it from outside.
They just stood in front of him, waiting for his next instructions.
"Good job," Noa complimented.
He also began walking around the sect, looking at everything closely. It looked pretty. Somewhat magical and unbelievable as well.
"Everything looks good. I think you can already stay overnight."
Wei Rou nodded.
"Five hundred sect members are already here. Only a few hundred of them remain, and we will be finished."
Everything went as Noa had expected.
He had no complaints.
Neither did he have any additional orders to give.
Leading the sect and almost a thousand people was beyond his expertise, and honestly, he didn’t want to bother either.
That’s why he had these people who knew what they were doing.
He just wanted to be the tycoon he was, and sell the best products this world had to offer.
But as night approached, and it was time for him and Mia to go back, he had one special order to give, concerning his sister.
It was her wish as well.
So he told them to take her as a disciple and teach her everything she needed to know about cultivation.
Wei Rou and Feng Fan agreed immediately.
They promised to look after her and help her understand how this world worked, including its politics, worldwide threats, and history.
It would start tomorrow evening.
But before that, Noa had to go back to his store.
So he left his employees behind after giving them the talisman he got for the reward, causing them to express their utmost gratitude.
As he walked alone with Mia and Yun Qiqi, something rang in his head again.
