Dimensional Tycoon: I Make Trillions in Every World -
Chapter 75: Teaching
Chapter 75: Teaching
Finally.
The time had come.
Everything Mia had to do before learning the technique had been completed.
"Are you ready?" Noa asked.
The 50 True Spirit Coins he had to pay for the book were ready as well.
Though he struggled to hold the slime, as it constantly tried to slip between his fingers to continue slithering across the floor.
Still, he gave the coins to the girl, nodding.
Mia smiled at his gesture.
"I might have been born for this moment," she said, her heart racing to the limit.
Suddenly, the coins dissolved briefly in her hands. Then the energy flowed into the book, aligning its internal qi to match her breathing.
After activating the book, the pages began glowing.
In an instant, the fire qi burst into a strong arc of flame, enveloping Mia completely.
She seemed comforted by them.
A deep smile manifested on her face as flame-shaped projectiles materialized in front of her, covering her entire vision.
Sometimes they floated around her.
Sometimes they stood still, showing her something.
Mia took two steps ahead.
Noa watched her closely, both of their eyes turning wide as the understanding settled in.
She was looking at a path.
The path she had to follow to master the skill.
Instinctively, her hands moved, mimicking the scene before her.
She tried to etch it in her memory, then into her very body, and even though the motion wasn’t perfect at first, the progress was there.
However, her fingers remained too stiff, and her control of qi too crude.
’She is doing it.’
Noa watched her and knew she would do it, seeing how the flame was responding to her wishes.
Even a tiny spark appeared from her palm.
It flickered out, but at least it existed for a moment.
Another set of fire materialized from her soon enough, enveloping her entire palm this time.
It also moved faster.
It spun in the air before finally dissipating.
Noa was observing her, as even he could see the projectiles.
They looked like afterimages, floating around the air and showing each step she had to follow.
However, though Mia’s talent to manipulate elements and cultivate was beyond everything this world—and possibly the galaxy—had to offer, she struggled to follow the instructions.
So he stepped up, nearing her.
"Watch me closely," he announced softly, standing in a better stance than she ever did.
Mia’s sharp eyes narrowed, trying to mirror his position.
"That’s not it. Leave more space between your legs and add more strength to your elbows. You aren’t putting enough strength into it, and your breathing is out of sync."
Noa expanded his explanation.
He offered her a better picture of how to create and then launch flame from her palms.
Though the only thing in his hands was a playful slime.
Strangely, the creature stopped resisting, allowing Noa to move more calmly.
Mia didn’t blink.
She adjusted her stance and tried again.
It worked.
The flame stayed longer, flickering with enough energy so she wouldn’t lose it like previous times.
Again and again, the projectile guided Noa.
He, however, demonstrated and better explained to his sister how to follow its instructions, mimicking the flame techniques with near-perfect precision.
The emotions his actions caused varied.
As always, Yun Qiqi was enthusiastic in every situation—her cheeks, still carrying the baby fat, showed her adorable smugness.
Noa’s employees no longer seemed amazed.
Nor did they look surprised or confused.
Mia and her talent were within their expectations, even if Seri’s words that she would have to challenge the heavens startled them.
But at the end of the day, it made sense.
Then there was a truly immortal being—one that looked like Noa’s familiar and had been born from a never-before-seen phenomenon.
This was another reason for them to exchange glances.
And just like before, they could understand why it could have happened to Noa.
However, now they saw something that neither of them had seen before.
Noa was being active.
Every miracle he had shown thus far had been achieved by his status alone—as if there had been no need for him to act at all.
But this situation was slightly different.
Now it was his time to show how talented and caring he could be.
This entire time, they had been viewing Noa as a divine being who had no emotions and acted solely by his motives.
It was nothing but a flawed thought.
Someone at Noa’s station didn’t lack simple things like emotions.
There was no way a perfect being like him would lack something.
He was just beyond them.
The rules they thought he had been bending all along, in fact, were written with him in mind from the beginning.
There was no path he followed that separated him from others.
Noa was just quietly building his own.
And now he was helping his sister do the same thing, as if creating a myth before their own eyes.
Mia followed his stance closely.
She stumbled.
She misstepped and made mistakes.
But not once did she lose control of the fire element, proving her superior ability.
After two more minutes, a real compressed flame burst from her palm, gliding toward the nonexistent target like a true fireball.
It vanished after covering a well-enough distance to be marked as a threat.
Then it stopped just before colliding with the bookshelf.
"We did it," she exclaimed, hugging Noa.
He nodded, smiling. "Let’s try again. This time, fill your lungs with more air and try to create a bigger fireball."
Mia was already ready for another try.
Her stance looked better than ever, but Noa continued helping her improve.
Even he was surprised by his ability to accurately mimic the projectiles, a frown escaping from his lips because of the system’s absence.
Just then, a sudden voice rang in his head.
It wasn’t the familiar robotic voice he wanted to hear, but it was its remaining piece before it would come back from the punishment.
[You don’t master the techniques. You...] it started and paused as if holding its breath.
