Chapter 63: Sect Completion
Chapter 63: Sect Completion
Noa moved out of the hallway.
He went straight to the store, gesturing for Qing Xuan and Hue Xanly to come as well, and left the building.
Yun Qiqi and Mia walked beside him, while Wei Rou and the two other girls walked behind him, their steps steady and measured.
The moment Noa stepped out, all eyes landed on him.
Silence descended as people made way for Feng Fan to approach him.
The cultivator bowed upon seeing him.
"I came as soon as I got the word," he said, his head slowly rising. "The preparations on my end are completed, and with enough help, the sleeping grounds should be finished by tonight."
Noa nodded at his words.
"Good," Noa said, wondering whether he should go with them or not.
But Mia’s presence and his curiosity worked together to make him climb up that mountain one more time.
"Let’s go then. I want to see how everything looks," he added, already walking.
The elders and disciples exchanged glances, waiting for Noa’s direct employees and sisters to move first.
Mia and Yun Qiqi stepped first.
They were followed by Feng Fan, Chen Hao, Qing Xuan, and Hue Xanly.
Everyone else, including Wei Rou, strolled after them.
Noa remembered the way to the Fateless Order’s base and walked straight toward it.
Meanwhile, as they ascended the misty path, the previous sect elder’s eyes lingered on Feng Fan, a hint of recognition resurfacing on his face.
Feng Fan... This name stirred echoes in his mind.
Though it was Wei Rou’s first time meeting the man, whispers of the rumors from the city streets had already reached him.
Some said that he was a bloodthirsty demon who was hunting someone.
Some even claimed that he was working with demonic cultivators, plotting to sacrifice the entire city for the blood demon.
Others mentioned his strength as well.
People talked about his quick progress and feared his talent.
According to what Wei Rou had heard, Feng Fan was at the Nascent Soul stage—one realm below him.
Yet, no matter how he looked at the man, he wasn’t sure of beating him.
Either it was a false rumor, or the cultivator had improved again.
Either way, Wei Rou glanced at Noa, noticing how indifferently he was climbing up the stairs.
If anyone was responsible for Feng Fan’s status and fearsome reputation, it had to be him and his divine products.
Noa, however, almost hugged Feng Fan in happiness.
Though the road still looked rough, the path to the sect had been paved with stone stairs.
The journey still sucked.
But at least, it became more bearable for Noa and Yun Qiqi, the only ordinary humans in the group.
Mia didn’t have to face the same struggle.
Even at the Body Tempering stage, she had gained enough attribute boost to climb up the stairs effortlessly.
After walking ten more minutes, Noa slowed down.
Hidden within the mist, a structure that hadn’t been there before slowly came into view.
It was eerily quiet around it.
Especially with the fog surrounding it, adding a sense of mystery to it.
"Here we are," Feng Fan announced, pointing at the palace.
Hearing his statement, the disciples shrugged, whispering among themselves.
They all realized this was their new sect, their new home, where they had to spend the rest of their days.
Eagerness and awe hung in the air.
The elders stared, expectations filling their hearts.
"This..." one of them muttered. "This didn’t exist last month."
As they continued walking, the mist thinned, revealing well-groomed grass and freshly built gates.
Taller towers showed themselves as well.
Yun Qiqi increased her pace.
"This place looks so cool," she said between her quickened breaths, glancing at the girl next to her.
Mia also looked amazed.
Her heart rate increased as it felt like she was living in her dream.
"This is way cooler than anything I have ever read. Is this place really yours?" she asked, secretly hoping it wasn’t just another prank her brother was scheming.
Noa frowned at her visible doubt, but said nothing.
He observed the almost finished sect, letting his lips curl into a smile.
The main courtyard, now completed, stretched long to its center, where a raised platform stood high.
It was fully covered with lanterns.
They created light that faintly pulsed with spiritual energy.
The herb garden had thrived even more than the last time Noa had seen it.
Each plant was strictly guarded by potent formations, ensuring their safety.
Dummies made of bamboos also caught Noa’s attention. This was a training ground, and it already reeked of strong spiritual energy.
Everything looked amazing.
Noa also shared Mia’s vision, thinking that no anime, novels, or manhuas could ever match the scenery he was seeing right now.
Even though the living quarters remained unfinished, the sect already looked fascinating.

Noa glanced from the corner of his eye to the system interface. It quickly gained his full attention after seeing the member count.
He had collected information about sects before, and the results varied.
Usually, sects had about ten elders, including the sect leader.
A few dozen core disciples followed. They received the most benefits and were personally trained by the elders.
Anywhere from fifty to two hundred were inner disciples.
They all got the best techniques and resources from the sect, while also being trained under core disciples.
As for the rest of the members, they were outer disciples and support staff.
They were handed minor tasks to complete, and rising through the ranks depended on talent or sheer luck.
Now, even Mia would join them.
Not because Noa forced her, but because she wanted it too.
Maybe even more than Noa did.
But there was one more thing for Noa to check, to see if it worked.
Of course, it was a customization feature that would allow him to play around with the sect however he liked.
