Dimensional Tycoon: I Make Trillions in Every World -
Chapter 51: Story
Chapter 51: Story
Mia’s breathing quickened.
She didn’t like the idea of encountering someone in this unknown world.
Especially in the darkness, with no one around.
But then she remembered something, glancing at Noa with high expectations.
"Qiqi said that you are practically a god in this world? What does that even mean? We should be safe, right?" she asked, her eyes sparkling.
"Nope," Noa answered casually. "I am god inside my store, not in this world. Not yet, at least."
Mia’s shoulders slumped.
"What are we going to do, then? What if it’s some young master who wants to kidnap me?"
Yun Qiqi giggled on the side.
"I have spent countless nights sleeping outside," she said, trying to calm Mia’s nerves. "And look at me, I am completely fine. Not everyone is scary and bad in this world."
Hearing her explanation, Mia sighed.
Now she realized what kind of emotional states protagonists had to go through after transmigration.
To keep her cool, she breathed in, vowing to become stronger, braver.
Meanwhile, Noa stood in front of the girls, waiting to see who or what would come out of the dark corner.
Time passed, and the footsteps grew louder.
There was no other sound in the darkness, making the situation even eerier.
Just then—
The last remaining sounds disappeared.
They were quickly replaced by a voice, speaking in a low, informal tone.
"Feng Fan," Noa said, looking at the cultivator before him. "What are you doing here?"
The man bowed.
Not once, not twice, but thrice.
It was awkward for Noa, but he smiled faintly, waiting for Feng Fan to give his explanation.
"There are rumors in the city. They don’t mention who did it, but they talk about a mysterious merchant who purchased the entire Blooming Iron Sect. It was you, wasn’t it? I can’t imagine anyone else doing it."
He spoke confidently, nodding towards Noa and his companions as well.
"It was me," Noa answered indifferently. "I wanted to talk to you about that. Follow me."
Feng Fan didn’t question him immediately.
He just lowered his head and walked behind him.
"Who is he?" Mia whispered to Yun Qiqi, curious about the stranger’s identity.
"He is someone who works for brother Noa. He is managing the sect he created, to be exact," Qiqi explained, her voice carrying a hint of reverence.
Mia narrowed her eyes.
She hadn’t expected Noa to be a sect master as well.
And what exactly was the Blooming Iron Sect’s purchase about?
There was still a lot she didn’t know about Noa, but each discovery she made deepened her curiosity and surprise.
The walk to the store wasn’t long.
As soon as they walked inside and closed the door, Feng Fan asked instantly.
"What are you planning with them?"
Noa coughed before starting, observing Mia from the corner of his eye.
"They would join the Fatless Order. I’ve already discussed it with them, and once the leader convinces the others, everything will be ready for the merging process."
Feng Fan remained silent.
He spent the next 20 seconds considering and digesting Noa’s words.
It wasn’t a small feat.
But a being before him spoke like it was nothing, as if acquiring long-lasting sects and controlling them was his pastime.
"The building process is going well," he said, changing the subject.
"I am not in a hurry. You can even wait for them to join and help you. It will speed things up, and you’ll also have access to their resources since I’m leaving them in your hands as well."
The man nodded.
He had no reason to refuse.
All he felt towards Noa was reverence and gratitude for his kindness and help.
But there was something else.
Something that he hadn’t forgotten and worked toward whenever he had the chance.
It was his revenge, his desire to punish those who wronged his family. However, Feng Fan said nothing about his progress.
He didn’t want to trouble Noa any more than he already had.
So he clenched his fist in silence.
Noticing how he acted, Noa guessed why he remained quiet, but instead of offering a solution, he said to the man, his voice steady as always.
"Take more from the store. I am sure you and the order need more. Don’t be shy, keep practicing, and wait for the bald boy to visit you."
Feng Fan did as he was told.
Yun Qiqi and Mia helped him pack everything into his spatial ring, allowing him to leave with enough products to last another day or two.
After the cultivator left, Mia approached Noa.
"Now I need more explanation. Tell me everything that happened, and I need to know," she demanded, her arms crossed.
"Sure," Noa agreed.
Then he spent the next half an hour retelling his adventure in this world.
He talked about how he had started with a crude stand and evolved it into the store where they were standing right now.
Noa also mentioned his customers, who turned into his employees.
Yun Qiqi shared the story of their first meeting as well, describing it as a fate-defying encounter.
Every time Mia tried to question Noa about the system, he skillfully dodged her piercing gaze, hiding the fact that the system even existed.
Having read countless novels and manga before, Mia understood the situation and kept her mouth shut.
After Noa told her everything he had to go through, she smiled.
"Sounds tough, but I am glad everything worked out for you," she said, trailing her words for a moment. "But if you can’t cultivate, does it mean I can’t either?"
"Nope," Noa reassured. "Follow me."
Mia squinted her eyes, guessing that she was going to sign the contract Noa had just mentioned.
Meanwhile, Yun Qiqi hopped around her.
She was excited because of Mia’s presence, happily acting like a guide in the store.
Bouncing inside the room, she spun to face Mia with a bright smile. "Ta-da! What do you think?" she asked.
Mia froze in the doorway.
The hall was big and all, but the glowing runes inside the contract room quickly caught her attention.
Noa was just as excited as she was.
He was about to complete a mission that would reward him with a mysterious room.
