Demon Hunter and His Cabin
Chapter 360 - Chapter 360 Chapter 360 Calculations

Chapter 360: Chapter 360 Calculations Chapter 360: Chapter 360 Calculations Creak, creak.

Entwined vines drew back inward, the twisted branches like tentacles, with no one knowing where they had grown from. Everything as far as the eye could see was green.

But at this moment, in the darkness, this greenery was not soothing, but rather added an aura of eeriness and horror.

“Quick, let’s hurry in!”

“There’s a strange force suppressing me here!”

Azumani yelled loudly.

Hearing him, Layhader waved his hand, leading Matt and many knights of the Round Table Knight Order into the passageway.

“Evelyn and Steve, you two hurry up and follow!”

“Teacher!”

“Without us, you might not be able to hold on by yourself!” Maintaining the Array was putting great pressure on them, and Evelyn was quickly drenched in sweat.

Her clothes clung tightly to her skin, outlining her body clearly.

“Need any help?”

Layhader shouted from a distance, he too could see that maintaining the Array was putting too much pressure on Azumani, his hair plastered tightly to his scalp.

“Steve, you go in first.”

Azumani yelled, “Evelyn and I will control the Array and follow immediately!”

Evelyn glanced at Roger, “Geralt, don’t just stand there, come stand by me!”

Roger feigned a panicked look, hesitated for a moment, and then edged closer, shaking in trepidation.

By this time, Steve had already broken free from the scope of the Array and rushed to Layhader’s side.

“Now!”

Azumani shouted loudly, and the green light on the Array suddenly contracted, forming a green orb that converged above Azumani’s head.

But at that moment, in his haste, Layhader saw a fleeting smile in Azumani’s eyes, and a terrible thought emerged in his mind.

“No good!”

Layhader roared, his feet forcefully pushing off towards the exit, but just then the green glow on Steve, who stood beside him, suddenly exploded.

Layhader, caught off guard, was knocked aside by the unexpected force, and by the time he rolled to his feet and stood up, he saw Steve’s figure propelled upwards by the recoil.

Meanwhile, the green orb above Azumani’s head had also shot out.

“Goodbye, dear Layhader.”

“You’re still as naive as ever.”

“Tsk tsk, your body is like that of a young man, but your brain, not so sharp anymore, is it?” Azumani said with a sneer.

“Don’t worry, the place you’ve entered is indeed one of the passages, just with some troubles.”

“As a renowned Round Table Knight, those troubles won’t kill you, but I guess by the time you come out, the manuscript will be in my hands!”

“Damn you, you damn trickster!”

Layhader wanted to rush forward, but Matt behind him grabbed him, “Sir, it’s too late!”

“Let’s hurry in while we still can!”

Layhader quickly scanned the surroundings and made a decision in an instant.

“You damn old ghost, just wait for me to leave this place!”

The vines around him were spreading madly, the passageway would soon close, and even if Layhader could leave in the shortest time, he couldn’t return to Azumani’s side.

But the other Round Table Knights clearly didn’t have the strength to do the same, and if he left his comrades in a dangerous area, casualties were all too likely.

As a leader, Layhader knew that staying would be a great loss, but he had no other choice.

Steve’s body floated towards the mid-air when suddenly, the cry of an eagle rang out, and a black eagle whooshed past above him.

As it neared Steve, the black eagle’s body rapidly swelled in size, and its massive wings swung to grab Steve’s wrist precisely.

The surrounding vines closed in, but with an agile somersault, Steve avoided the attack and followed the black eagle straight into the sky.

“Did you think that was it?”

With a cold snort, Layhader’s feet began to sprout vines that crept up to his hands; he spun rapidly, shooting out a yellow glow.

“Steve, be careful!”

Evelyn shouted urgently. In a rush, Steve looked back and down, his vision blurred, and amid a mid-air cry, blood sprayed over his face, and he plummeted downward!

“Let’s collect a little interest first.”

Before the passage closed, Layhader glared at Azumani, “Old man, you’re next!”

“We’ll see when you get out!”

The green energy orb that Azumani had thrown exploded in the passage, and vines inside grew wildly at an alarming rate, sealing the area completely in an instant.

Steve adjusted his posture and flipped agilely from mid-air, rolling several times upon landing before standing up.

“My eagle.”

Steve said with a look of regret.

“I’ll give you a new one when we return.”

Azumani consoled him, wiping the sweat from his forehead, “It took days to deceive Layhader, and now the timing is perfect. The passage they entered is not the real one.”

“Time is on our side.”

Azumani smiled as he glanced at Roger, who stood by Evelyn.

“Besides, we have the prince in our hands.”

“You country bumpkin, stay away from Evelyn!”

Having lost his beloved pet, Steve was naturally infuriated. He stepped forward, clenched his fists, and glared fiercely at Roger.

“Steve!”

Azumani barked sharply; this country boy still had great use and he didn’t want to be too excessive before achieving his goal.

How could the taste of cooperation compare to that of forced compliance?

“All right, let’s set off, to the real entrance.”

“Although we’ve gotten an approximate location for entering Sleeping Valley, we still wouldn’t be able to enter this world without the information in Layhader’s hands.”

“Speaking of which, we really should thank the generous Round Table Knight.”

All along, Roger appeared panicked. His only regret was that, after the fallout with Layhader and the others, Azumani’s group seemed to have far fewer concerns.

Especially Evelyn.

Not even allowing him to hold her hand was really too shallow, too overbearing.

Azumani pressed his palm to the ground; the surrounding plants began to grow, as several trees intertwined and eventually formed a shimmering silver fir tree.

Following that, a second tree was formed. When the two silver fir trees took shape, it seemed to trigger some kind of energy, and the trees coiled together to form an archway.

Energy burst forth, and behind the gate, a world full of plants unveiled itself before everyone’s eyes.

“Let’s go, let’s enter.”

Azumani led the way, while Evelyn grabbed Roger’s collar.

There were clearly multiple ways to enter what was called Sleeping Valley, and the method Layhader just used was one of the more violent ones.

This was bound to awaken certain creatures slumbering in the valley, whereas the method Azumani was using was evidently much safer.

The archway behind them vanished, and a moss-covered stone staircase appeared before the group. They ascended the stairs, and a majestic palace came into full view.
