Chapter 254: 107. Background Music_2

"Right, we live with Moli every day, how could she possibly be a demi-human? She’s clearly human and very delicate, she’s never even left the school, and now that she’s missing, what if she encounters bad people outside?"

"That night Mr. Fischer was also at the school, you know where Moli might be, right? If you have any information about her, could you please tell us, we’re very worried about her..."

Milica and Isabella were indeed very close friends with Moli, which was evident from the concern on their faces.

After Isabella and Milica started asking, Elizabeth kept silent, took a sip of her drink, and quietly listened to their conversation without any intention to interrupt.

"Mr. Fischer, your milk, please enjoy."

"Thank you."

Fischer took the milk, dispersed the steam rising from it, and recounted the events of that night to Isabella and Milica. However, he did not mention the monsters in the Healing Room, only roughly explained the security measures and his own involvement.

In the end, he shook his head and said,

"Unfortunately, I do not know where Moli is now. Security and I saw Moli jump out of the window and disappear that day..."

Indeed, Fischer did not intend to reveal Moli’s whereabouts to anyone.

If Fischer’s opponent now were Duke Blake of the Pioneering Faction, and he was determined to find Moli, he had to be impeccable.

Fischer didn’t want to give the Healing Room another card to play, even if Isabella and Milica were members of the Church and Royal Family, and Moli’s closest friends. But who could guarantee they wouldn’t accidentally leak information in an effort to protect their demi-human friend’s reputation at school?

Isabella opened her mouth, gripped her fingers, and looked at Fischer,

"Then why did you resign the next day?"

"Because I lost faith in the security of Saint Nali University and Nali Official after consecutive incidents. I decided to resign to protect my personal safety, that’s it."

Milica was about to say something more, but Elizabeth suddenly raised her hand, stopping the two girls from speaking further,

"Alright, since you’ve now heard about what happened that night, you should be satisfied... Mr. Fischer and security saw the demi-human true form of that classmate themselves. Since she could blend in at Saint Nali University, she should also be capable of ensuring her own safety."

"Worrying is necessary, but it should not overly affect your own lives, as we discussed before coming here. It’s school time now, you should also head back to prepare for tomorrow’s classes. The Magic Class will no longer be taught by Mr. Fischer, you might need to work even harder... Go, I’ll have the guards escort you back to Saint Nali University, and also ask my brother to strengthen student security."

Facing the elder princess’s command, the two girls, of course, could not resist.

They pursed their lips, stood up, and looked at Mr. Fischer beside Elizabeth, and Isabella took a small bag out of her purse, handing it to Fischer,

"Mr. Fischer, this is the spices Moli asked us to buy for you, she said it was meant to be a gift for you... But now that she’s not at school anymore, we thought we’d give them to you on her behalf."

Fischer glanced at the spices inside the small bag, took it over, and then looked back at Elizabeth beside him.

Her expression was slightly smiling, yet the temperature dropped a bit, but she said nothing, just took another sip of her drink.

"I understand, thank you."

"Uh... then we’ll take our leave now. Goodbye, sister, Mr. Fischer."

Isabella and Milica bowed to them both and then walked out of the café.

The background music changed to a softer, smoother violin solo. In such an ambiance, Elizabeth spoke first,

"That Moli, is she the one I saw in your office before? Isabella mentioned she was a student assistant you hired?"

Fischer stood up, preparing to sit opposite Elizabeth, which would be better to discuss matters.

But just as he was about to stand, Elizabeth gently pulled on his jacket to prevent him from moving.

When Fischer looked at her, she simply blinked at him, her grip unwavering.

So, Fischer had to sit back down, stir his honey with a spoon, and continued,

"Yes, she is the best student in the class."

"Did you know she was a demi-human?"

"I didn’t know."

Elizabeth’s vacant gold pupils gauged Fischer momentarily, then she smiled, shifting her gaze and changing the subject,

"There have been too many incidents at Saint Nali University lately, and you have left, what about the magic courses there?"

"I wrote a letter to Principal Damien, he will help... Resigning is also to better investigate Pink Hall and Healing Room issues, being at the school was too passive."

"There are disadvantages and advantages to being in the open; the advantage is that your safety is somewhat guaranteed. Now that you’ve resigned, once you begin a thorough investigation, they might target you... do you need me to send troops to assist you?"
