Chapter 184: 79. Don’t look at me_3
As expected, the next second the ground began to spin like a Magic Cube. Fischer twisted his head toward the ceiling only to see the walls of the room that had stored the Silver Mirror had crumbled. The rooms of the entire building were being rearranged and combined in mid-air. Fischer saw rooms flying downwards from above and spotted the people inside them.
"It’s Fischer! He’s over there!"
Fischer caught sight of the people in the room, hurriedly picked up a sheepman beside him, and amidst the panicked shouts of the scholar Crow and the sheepman, Fischer threw the sheepman towards them.
That way, they would gather together and he could later reunite with them.
"Oh, my dear sheep baby, you’ve finally returned to me!"
"Mr. Crow..."
The sheepman was precisely tossed into the room, and from there, a few indistinct voices of conversation emerged.
Fischer then started to move his feet again. Now the entire floor started to rotate, originally on the fourth floor, they were falling downwards, now it seemed that he would crash into the first floor while Fischer, positioned on the third floor, was flying upwards.
Fischer watched the gradually descending room and suddenly realized something was off. Prince Luosang had been talking to him all along, but because it was too dark and too far, Fischer couldn’t hear him clearly, only sensing that he had something to tell him.
Reminded, Fischer looked in the room and suddenly realized something wasn’t right. There, somehow, the small animal-like Moli had disappeared.
Glancing in the direction of Prince Luosang, he kept pointing towards him. Did that mean Moli had come looking for him?
The room completely sank and disappeared from Fischer’s sight. Fischer pulled out the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual with a stern face. Layers of ethereal text emerged,
"Please select a research object 0/2".
"Moli, Juvenile Whale Species".
She was nearby!
Somewhere in the distance, Fischer again heard the piercing shrieks of the monsters. He turned his head and saw, in the darkness, countless monster limbs being blown out as if by a typhoon. In Fischer’s astonished gaze, a huge whale tail phantom flickered on the hallway walls.
That phantom almost seemed to tear the building apart. The next second, a figure as if swimming through the Air appeared before Fischer.
It was a girl with a huge whale tail. The girl’s normally submissive black hair completely turned into a deep ocean blue, the entire scene engulfed by darkness. Fischer noticed her whale tail and even the head flickering with spots of fluorescent light.
From within the girl’s blue hair, two long black ears stretched out, each ending in oval white spots that in the darkness looked just like the eyes of a whale.
But those were not eyes, because the girl’s eyes at that moment were radiating light. Her face was stern and cold, her eyes shimmering with an abyss-like black current, driving away her small-animal-like cuteness, turning her into a Hunter-like ice cold.
What truly caught Fischer’s attention was that the girl, who originally prided herself on her massive and soft figure, appeared to have shrunk several sizes!
The girl, like a huge whale, was Fischer’s student, Moli.
Previously, Fischer had painstakingly tried to uncover the secret that Moli was an Ocean Subhuman, hoping she would expose her own flaws, but now she had directly appeared before Fischer.
Moli’s face looked chillingly cold as she gently placed a hand on the wall. The wall, as if unable to withstand the mountainous strength, cracked open, causing the monsters hiding behind the wall to explode from her power.
In the next moment, Moli fixed her stern gaze firmly on Fischer as he stood still. She took a deep breath and, like a wave, swept towards Fischer.
What happened?
Fisher seemed to realize that Moli’s state was a bit unusual compared to the cute girl he usually knew. Was this her true form as a Whale-man Species?
Her tail swayed in the air, and moisture began to form on the wall from an unknown water source. Like a giant beast in the ocean, she lunged toward Fisher.
Fisher quickly positioned his hand cane in front of him. Looking closely, after the wall absorbed the unknown water, it began to corrode and decay rapidly. In the next moment, a massive force carried Fisher back against the wall.
"Bang!"
The wall collapsed directly, causing a wave of pain to surge through Fisher’s body, but he still stared intently at Moli, the indifferent girl pinning him down. Her eyes seemed to condense with darkness, almost spilling over, as if she were looking at a dead person.
"Moli?"
A cut split open on Fisher’s cheek, and drops of blood trickled down his face. He spoke calmly while looking at Moli. Reflected in Moli’s pupils was Fisher’s figure. She seemed slightly startled, and in the next second, a blue light began to shimmer within the dark waters of her eyes, dispersing the darkness.
As the color in her eyes changed, the softness at her chest began to expand, slowly reverting to her prideful appearance.
"Ah... ah?"
She spoke, seemingly just coming to her senses.
Moli hurriedly released her hands from Fisher and covered her chest. She looked around at the situation,
Herself reverted back to her original form...
Mr. Fischer, injured and pinned beneath her...
The shattered wall and the room...
Her face grew redder, even the rims of her eyes turned slightly red. Her whale tail slapped against Fisher’s knee while her legs were still there, so she ended up sitting directly on Fisher.
"I’m... I’m sorry... Mr. Fisher... I.. didn’t..."
She frantically hugged her non-human ears and tail. Her cheeks flushed slowly turned to a look of hurt, and tears began to fall continuously,
"I... I just wanted to come find you, but I didn’t mean... Oh... I got scared..."
Watching Fisher’s astonished face, Moli thought he was scared by her non-human appearance. Little did she know, Fisher was merely focused on her tearful state.
Moli covered her ears and hid her tail behind her, but the tail was too large to be fully concealed.
"Don’t... don’t look... don’t look at me..."
Her voice, filled with hurt, cried out, and then her soft hands quickly covered Fisher’s eyes, plunging his vision into darkness. However, her posture in covering his eyes was extremely awkward, and she overlooked her own scale, so Fisher’s chest could feel something pressing against it...
"Moli... you should get up first."
This was the first thing Fisher said after his surprise, his tone quite awkward.
