Chapter 183: 79. Don’t look at me_2
The Prince Luosang was amused by the remark and squatted down next to Carlo, wondering if she was wearing perfume, as he could always catch a pleasant scent coming from her.
Just then, a flurry of footsteps approached from outside the door. Ken stood up and announced,
"They’ve returned, Fisher and the others!"
The door swung open, revealing the family members of the Schwali Scholars and a winded Roger covered in sweat, but Fisher and the male sheepman were nowhere to be seen.
"Dad!"
"Oh, heavens, my son."
Prince Luosang turned his attention toward them and then furrowed his brows before asking,
"Where’s Mr. Fisher?"
"Yes, and my sheep darling? You damned lunatics didn’t leave him down there all alone, did you? No! The creatures would have eaten him!"
Roger was wiping the sweat from his forehead and had not yet spoken when a young man behind him declared,
"He was foolish enough to run up to the third floor just for that sheepman! He could have come up with us; it was his own choice!"
Prince Luosang’s frown deepened. He glanced at the young man, whose words were silenced by the prince’s innate royal authority. But the current issue was how to rescue Fisher. Before he could speak, the Schwali Scholar who lost his sheepman slave rolled up his sleeves, fuming,
"You damned Lotus! How dare you speak of my sheep like that! I’ve known since talking to your father that you are nothing but a wastrel! Except for squandering your father’s money on women, you’re utterly useless, you scum, a disgrace! How can you be so heartless? He is a living being too!"
"Get lost, Crow, you deviant homosexual who limps for demi-humans!"
The argument inside the room grew louder, and Prince Luosang’s patience neared its end as he clenched his fists, looking ready to explode.
"Enough!"
A sharp command from within the room halted their quarrel.
The young man Lotus and the Schwali Scholar Crow paused, surprised, as did Prince Luosang, whose expression froze. The one who had interrupted was none other than Moli, the quiet female student who had remained silent all along.
Moli, breathing slightly heavily, whether from her earlier words or her anger making it hard for her to stay calm, cast a furious glance at both parties. Then, without another word, she threw the book she was carrying onto the ground and marched past the crowd out of the room.
Ken, the Headmaster, intended to stop her but, upon seeing the flicker of blue in Moli’s eyes, he inexplicably refrained from acting. He quietly watched her leave the room, then closed the door behind her, leaving only her calm words behind,
"I’ll go find Mr. Fischer."
The room quieted down. Prince Luosang glanced at the people from Saint Nali University, unsure what to make of the situation. Was that female student a Nali Agent sent by the Nali Spy Agency to ensure their safety, and was that why no one had intervened?
It was several seconds later that Lotus finally sneered and muttered under his breath,
"Another one going to their death..."
"You damned mongrel, today I’ll discipline you for your father!"
Crow, who had been called a homosexual deviant, spat and, quicker than it takes to say it, threw a punch at the young man, knocking him down unexpectedly and then proceeded to pummel his face while straddling him,
"You disrespectful little brat, apologize to my sheep! Apologize now!"
"She’s mad! She’s gone mad! Let me go! Mom! Dad! This man has lost his mind!"
...
...
Surrounded by darkness, Fisher’s expression was stern as he clenched his Handcane in his left hand and wielded the black Fluid Sword in his right, slicing through Human Worms, decapitating or severing their limbs. The creatures lay on the ground, emitting a putrid stench, as Fisher pursued the Sheep-man breed while rapidly contemplating in his mind.
These creatures bore a striking resemblance to the ones Elliog had been chasing. Could that imply that Pink Hall was backed by the same Sinners that Elliog was after?
According to previous intelligence, the mastermind behind Pink Hall seemed to be Captain Blake, the first pioneer, who once traveled the world aboard the Holy Maiden. It was indeed possible that he had entered the Demon’s realm. Was Elliott chasing him?
And considering the bizarre nature of these Creations, could that man also possess a Completion Manual?
Fisher continued his thoughts while timing his strike at the creature dragging the sheepman, swiftly cutting off its arm with the Fluid Sword. The silver blade stretched out in midair, slicing the arm off like a stream of water.
The sheepman screamed and fell to the ground. Fisher slowly approached and asked,
"Are you alright?"
The sheepman glanced at Fisher and blushed slightly as he shook his head, but Fisher hardly noticed him since he had begun to observe the slow warping of the surrounding corridors. It wasn’t just the corridor twisting, but the opened rooms as well.
It seemed that the person who set up the magical traps had realized that the people above were casting Barrier Magic and knew that mere monsters wouldn’t break through, so they were preparing to sever the space inside, causing the cast Emblems to fracture.
