Chapter 567: Chapter 275 Free Hitman_1

Bang!

Lin Baici kicked open the door to the side.

"You go in, Yi Jisheng guard the door!"

Lin Baici glanced into the room. Since the door was locked and the zombies would have certainly come to ram the door if they had heard the commotion outside to try and get out, their absence now meant there were no monsters inside.

However, out of caution, Lin Baici still checked.

Everyone hurried into the room without delay.

Roar! Roar! Roar!

The zombies were roaring and swarming over.

"I’ll help you!"

Xia Hongyao stood beside Lin Baici.

"No need!"

As Lin Baici spoke, he had already dashed out, swinging his Bronze Sword at the zombie in front of him.

Swish!

The sharp blade of the sword directly cut off half of the zombie’s body. Then Lin Baici kicked the corpse, which flew like a punch bag, hitting other zombies behind it, slowing their pace.

Lin Baici continued to charge forward, sword slashing repeatedly!

Swish! Swish! Swish!

With each movement of Lin Baici’s hand, the sword fell, and soon the ground was littered with severed limbs and arms.

Blood showered everywhere, splattering all around.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Corpses fell to the ground, forming a carpet of human flesh.

"Captain, watch out for the mutated zombies!"

Gu Qingqiu stood by the door, shouting loudly as a warning.

There were many monsters, but Lin Baici wasn’t tired or afraid. However, there was too much blood spilling out. Plenty had flowed down the blade to the hilt, making Lin Baici’s right hand that held the sword wet and slippery, somewhat difficult to grip.

Just as Lin Baici swung his sword again, that zombie suddenly reached out, grabbing the Bronze Sword, then another zombie behind it accelerated and lunged at Lin Baici.

This was a mutated one!

Being so close, Lin Baici could see its gaping mouth, the throat and those rotten teeth.

"Be careful!"

Before Yi Jisheng had finished shouting, Lin Baici’s fist had already smashed into the zombie’s face.

He was wearing the Gloves of the Colossus Strength which activated, and his power surged.

Bang!

The zombie flew out, knocking over a group of monsters like a bowling ball.

The mutated one rolled, then immediately got up and pounced towards Lin Baici again, but just as it got close, Muscle Buddha appeared.

Without bending at the waist or swinging his arm, he casually slapped it as if swatting a mosquito.

Slap!

The zombie’s head was smacked to rotate 270 degrees, its neck twisted, making a cracking noise.

Muscle Buddha stretched out his large hand, grabbed the zombie’s head, and began to swing it like a club.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

In the blink of an eye, Muscle Buddha cleared a bloody path, emptying the corridor.

Lin Baici followed behind, wiping his hands before finishing off the zombies that weren’t completely dead.

Luckily, after killing zombies on this floor, he obtained a ticket to Hanyang.

"Keep going!"

Lin Baici headed down the stairs and saw that the 34th floor had already been cleared. It was clear that Quan Sangin’s group was in a hurry.

They didn’t have the time to clear each room one by one but instead made noise at one end of the corridor, drawing out those things before dispatching them with Divine Grace or forbidden items’ area attacks.

Their efficiency was high.

Lin Baici wasn’t in a hurry, prioritizing training the team. When there were fewer zombies, he let Kim Myungjin and Hua Yue Yu take action, clearing the floors one by one.

By the time they reached the 17th floor, Quan Sangin arrived.

"Why aren’t you done yet?"

Quan Sangin was surprised, "Shouldn’t be the case, isn’t Lin Baici quite strong?" However, after seeing Kim Myungjin and Hua Yue Yu take the lead in attacking, his confusion only deepened.

"Isn’t Lin Baici just doing this to pass the time? Why let them kill monsters? Could it be he’s a pervert who enjoys watching beauties chop up zombies?"

"Do you want our help?"

Quan Sangin threw out the question.

Kim Jinsoo and the others were unhappy, feeling that Lin Baici was deliberately slacking to take advantage of them.

"No need, you guys can go to the office building next door to fight monsters!"

Lin Baici didn’t know about the efficiency of the others, he planned to wait until a group of people had gotten their tickets before getting on the vehicle himself. Otherwise, if he boarded first, what if he became an easy target?

"Right, I’m planning to go to Hanyang, so other tickets are of no use to me!"

"Why not go to Silla?"

Choi Sunsil felt that Silla was a better choice because the name sounded prestigious and it was an ancient kingdom, supposedly with good stuff.

"Because I don’t like it!"

Of course, Lin Baici wasn’t going to tell these people that Hanyang was chosen by Eater God.

Choi Sunsil was still planning to argue but was stopped by Quan Sangin, "Make it fast. Let’s strive to get enough tickets today so we can board early tomorrow morning."

Quan Sangin and his group left.

Lin Baici continued with his systematic actions. Five hours later, he had cleared all the odd-numbered floors but, unfortunately, he was still two tickets short for Hanyang.

"Time to eat and rest."

Lin Baici led the team back to their room, planning to act again the next day.

In the middle of the night, Quan Sangin’s group of seven returned, knocking on the door. Upon seeing Lin Baici and his team resting, Kim Jinsoo was a bit irritated.

"You’re meddling too much!"

Gu Qingqiu retorted.

"Stop arguing!"

Quan Sangin pinched the bridge of his nose, "How many tickets are you short?"

"Two!"

After Gu Qingqiu’s response, Quan Sangin passed over two tickets, advising her, "Tell your team leader, we leave at 9 am tomorrow!"

"Okay!"

Gu Qingqiu unapologetically took the tickets.

...

Back in their room, the more Kim Jinsoo thought about it, the more upset he became, "Leader, you’re spoiling them too much!"

"Can’t help it, we still have to act together!"

Quan Sangin lay down on the couch.

"Don’t worry, is our leader the type to suffer losses?" Choi Sunsil sneered coldly, "We’ll act together for now, but if these people are no good, then don’t blame us for plundering them!"

"Exactly, just by getting our hands on that space forbidden item from Lin Baici, this trip would be worth it!"

"I think we don’t need to kill them; they’ll die on their own from the contamination of the rules!"

"Hope they drop dead soon!"

With that, everyone laughed together, starting to speculate on how much loot they could get from Lin Baici.

...

The next morning, the sunshine was glorious, perfect weather for a morning run, though the streets were swarming with wandering zombies.

After a chaotic night, the city was nearly overtaken by monsters, and the survivors were hiding like rats and cockroaches. The zombies had become the new masters of the city.

Lin Baici’s group, having eaten a hearty breakfast, joined an impatient Quan Sangin and his group in descending the stairs.

"I’ll lead the way!"

Quan Sangin had prepared several motorcycles, and since the station wasn’t far and though the road conditions were bad, they would definitely arrive in half an hour.

The two teams set off. As soon as they hit the road, the roaring engines attracted the attention of nearby zombies, which immediately ran towards them. But two legs couldn’t outrun motorcycles, and they were quickly left behind.

"Charge! Charge! Charge!"

Quan Sangin shouted, constantly turning his head to observe the route and weaving through to safety before the zombies ahead could complete their blockade.

Forty minutes later, everyone arrived at the station plaza.

"Ditch the bikes, run!"

At a large staircase, Quan Sangin dismounted and took the lead, charging into the station.
