Chapter 1279: Chapter 572: The Great God Lin, His Fame Spreads!_4
"You are four levels below me and your gear isn’t even good, thinking of out-aggroing me?"
Lin Baici chuckled: "Whoever can out-aggro gets a Gold Coin from me after the fight!"
The Mage and the Hunter thought about it too, looking at his Green Hat Suit, must be pretty sharp.
"Let’s go!"
After Lin Baici finished speaking, he entered the house.
"Holy shit, he’s in? Without any preparation?"
The Mage was shocked.
"I’m scared!"
The Priest sounded a bit cowardly.
"What preparation? Health and Mana are full!"
Bai Yutang cursed: "Keep up, keep up!"
Four people went in and then heard Lin Baici’s voice.
"Up to the second floor!"
They hurried up only to see the Priest hadn’t gotten into position yet while Lin Da Hungry Man had already started to pull the mob.
"So fierce!"
All four admired endlessly.
"Heal, start attacking!"
Lin Baici urged.
The Priest promptly cast healing spells.
The Hunter let loose arrows, the Mage cast Ice Spear Technique, and the Holy Knight with a big hammer charged forward.
After Lin Baici finished a Heavy Blow and saw the Mortal Strike DEBUFF disappear, he applied another one.
"Full firepower, don’t hold back!"
Lin Baici had already learned many lessons from killing so many Fishmen; he knew that a monster’s attack range was mostly around 120 degrees in front of them.
So Lin Baici backed into a corner of the second-floor wooden house, letting the Werewolf turn its back to everyone else.
Roar!
The Werewolf roared angrily, causing the players’ ears to ache, and the attack speed of Lin Baici and the Holy Knight immediately decreased.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Three slashes from the Werewolf landed on Lin Baici.
"Quick, heal up!"
Without waiting for Lin Baici to urge them, Bai Yutang shouted first.
It’s clear when a pro takes action, Lin Baici’s aggro was so stable, if their side didn’t give their best, it would be a total embarrassment.
"I know!"
The Priest’s heart pounded up to his throat, casting heals fiercely.
"No way, Mr. Pro, what’s this damage?"
The Mage was startled, the damage numbers from Lin Baici’s strike were double that of his Ice Spear, truly frightening.
"Stop healing, it’s wasting Mana Value, just keep my health above 80%, don’t need to top it off!"
Lin Baici instructed: "When Mana drops to one-third, let me know ahead of time!"
"Oh, oh."
The Priest nodded quickly.
"Mr. Pro, you’re really steady!"
Bai Yutang was emotional.
In such a deadly situation, the MT would definitely urge the Priest to overheal, worried that a series of Werewolf combos could lead to a sudden death.
If the teammates are powerful and the damage is adequate, this strategy is fine, but if the damage falls behind and the boss can’t be taken down before the Priest runs out of Mana, then it would be disastrous.
The previous party perished because the Priest healed too aggressively at first, leaving not much Mana. The MT asked everyone to go full-out trying to rush the Werewolf down. But then, the aggro went haywire, the Werewolf started slashing people randomly, lots of actions from the Priest trying to heal everyone caused his aggro to spike, leading the Werewolf to target him and he had to start running.
"We can do this!"
The Mage was excited to see the Werewolf’s health going down steadily while Lin Baici’s remained high.
"Steady!"
Bai Yutang yelled out.
The Red Eye Werewolf wasn’t even an outdoor boss, just a physical elite mob. The scariest thing was that when it struck, the MT’s health would drop too fast.
Lin Baici was dressed in a full set of Fish Scale Armor and accessories; his defense was high enough, and his composure was even higher. He wasn’t in a hurry to get healed.
With Lin Baici as a cornerstone, the Priest didn’t have to make decisions, naturally, his anxiety eased.
Plainly speaking,
The Priest was just acting as a Blood Bottle.
When the Werewolf’s health dropped to 10%, its two red eyes suddenly glowed red, it roared and its arm muscles bulged, accelerating the speed of its slashes.
A triple strike with one blow!
Lin Baici’s health wasn’t full, and in that moment, it plummeted to two-fifths.
The Priest panicked.
"Priest, don’t panic!"
Lin Baici screamed: "Everyone else stay calm, continue with the same rhythm!"
The Werewolf’s attack speed sped up, and after three basic attacks, it was a triple strike again.
"Holy shit, heal up quick!"
The Holy Knight was so scared his hair stood on end.
"I... I’m running out of Mana!"
The Priest was sweating profusely.
"I’m out of Mana!"
The Mage cried, once a magical class is out of Mana, they’re useless.
"Go up and whack it with your Magic Wand!"
Bai Yutang urged.
"..."
The Mage didn’t dare to approach; as a cloth-armored class, if the Werewolf hit him, he’d probably get carried away instantly.
"Don’t panic!"
Lin Baici took out a Blood Bottle, gulped it down, then suddenly threw a punch, hitting the Werewolf’s curved blade.
Disarm!
Bang!
The Werewolf’s weapon vanished.
"Holy shit, what the hell?"
The Hunter exclaimed.
Lin Baici’s eyebrows twitched; he hadn’t expected Disarm to work on this Werewolf.
It seems that it’s just an elite mob with high physical attack power.
The Werewolf, now without weapons, punched at Lin Baici, but the damage was too weak.
Lin Baici was still clutching the Steel Body, ready to use, but he didn’t need to. The Werewolf didn’t last through the twelve-second Disarm period and was directly slain by Lin Baici’s blade!
Thud!
The items that dropped from the Werewolf’s body burst into three light orbs.
Since it was a team, the dropped Gold Coins were evenly distributed to all five players.
"We did it! We did it!"
The Priest cheered and sat down on the ground with a thud.
"Mr. Pro, awesome!"
The Hunter gave him a big thumbs up.
The Mage was eager to pick up the loot.
"Ahem!"
Bai Yutang coughed twice: "Everyone pass, let the pro pick rewards first!"
The Mage had already picked up a light orb, but when he heard that, he put it back down.
Three pieces of dropped item attributes popped up in front of everyone, alongside a die next to each.
