Chapter 779: Chapter 647: The Remnants

Half a day passed, and when the Shuttle Machine arrived at the Frozen Valley in the heart of the mountains of Yibei City, Farosa passed through the door and returned to Little Fool’s side.

"Time’s up," Farosa said, staring at Little Fool and Snowball sitting side by side.

"Guabu..." Little Fool, her mind exhausted, had managed to memorize most of the content with difficulty.

Farosa conversed with Little Fool using Secret Script.

Little Fool muttered a lot and managed to respond fluently!

Farosa slowly nodded.

"Are you smarter than I thought? Why did you seem so foolish before?" Farosa murmured to herself.

Little Fool pointed to her own head, telling Farosa about her past where the Magic Circuit hadn’t reached her brain.

"That’s really good," Farosa nodded, "Since there are no circuits in your brain, installing Digital Mind won’t affect the development of your Magic Power. You should install Digital Mind, so you can record all knowledge like a computer. Just some medicine and surgery could atrophy the Magic Circuits in your mind."

"I’ll become Little Fool again," Little Fool said, afraid.

"If you want to obtain a computing power beyond others, you either install Digital Mind or you become a god," Farosa observed Little Fool.

"Why can’t I become a god?" Little Fool asked, puzzled.

"Because I am already a god," Farosa said, looking down at Little Fool, "Are you trying to take my place, hmm?"

Little Fool wanted to retort, but Snowball tugged at her sleeve.

"Guabu," Little Fool conceded.

Although she didn’t understand why there couldn’t be two Witch Goddesses in the world.

Right, if there were several Witch Goddesses working together, couldn’t that prevent Farosa from being autocratic?

Little Fool seriously considered this possibility.

The Shuttle Machine circled in the sky, the weather not as dreadful as before. After a reconnaissance of the area below, Farosa saw a vast expanse of ancient architectural ruins that had been exposed by earthquakes and avalanches.

At first glance, they resembled massive black rock palaces, built against the mountains, with different entrances linking various parts of the mountains. The frozen aqueducts leading into the depths of the mountain represented a huge scale of engineering.

Just as the company’s machines had scouted before, the remaining Frost Giants and Ghosts were all gathered here, with the last of the Frost Giants and Ghosts wandering in the middle of the valley.

The valley was packed with remnants of the defeated army, and Farosa felt that a single swing of her blade would be extremely satisfying.

Farosa stared for a long time, then closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

She was not thinking about the valley in front of her, but her own childhood. Xu Yang’s work had not influenced Farosa in real-time, and she was recalling more and more as time passed.

Farosa opened her eyes, her gaze softening.

"It’s cold down there; you stay here," Farosa said gently, caressing Little Fool’s forehead as she turned back.

"Guabu?" Little Fool felt surprised.

Farosa’s hand was soft, both happy and safe.

Especially the way Farosa looked at Little Fool.

Initial glances into her eyes were as terrifying as peering into an abyss, but Farosa’s gaze now was clear, gentle, warm, and pleasant.

"Take care of yourself, look after yourself, and if you feel something’s wrong, leave immediately. Although I’m here, nothing major should happen..." Farosa instructed slowly.

"You? Why are you telling me this?" Little Fool was scared.

"Because..." Farosa gazed at Little Fool, new thoughts and memories surfacing, "you remind me of my sister."

Little Fool was shocked.

"Where did you get a sister from!" Little Fool was quite angry.

"How come I don’t have one? My dear child," Farosa said, pulling her into a hug.

Caught off guard, Little Fool was hit by two large masses.

"Erh— " she sank into the depths, suffocating.

"I watched you grow up; I literally saw you grow up. Maybe you’re not her, but you are as petite and cute as she was. I bought you clothes, I sang you songs. Do you recognize me? You should, you’re so much like her, so very much like..." Farosa’s eyes were dazed, kissing Little Fool’s forehead. She couldn’t remember clearly, did not know where her sister had come from, but she knew she would remember.

"Wuwu..." Little Fool felt like she was going to die from Farosa’s kiss.

Then she saw Farosa sigh, leave the Shuttle Machine, and plummet from the sky.

Little Fool trembled non-stop.

Was this the highest level of technique?

She no longer saw Farosa as terrifying, but rather felt Farosa had become a bit more approachable!

Now even she had been ensnared. Little Fool shivered. The last person determined to confront Farosa had fallen, and everything was doomed.

"Woof..." Snowball calmly closed the cabin door.

"Huff, huff..." Little Fool wiped the cold sweat away—the world was too chaotic.

Farosa descended from the sky, focusing on the task at hand, contemplating what posture she should take to fly suitably.

Without wings or Armor, Farosa could use diffuse Magic Power to manipulate the surrounding airflow. Just as the Magic Blade could cleave material substances, the scattered Magic Power could also displace the surrounding air currents, creating a gliding state; with a bit more concentration, she could also achieve high-speed flight.

Under her control, her descent slowed down, preventing her from falling to her death from high altitude. The cold wind that passed through her divine body posed no hindrance.

"Awoo!"

"What’s that?"

"Ga!" The Frost Giants below pointed and commented about Farosa descending from the sky.

She summoned the Supreme Magic Blade in midair and wielded it randomly toward the valley below, crazily smashing into the crowd of monsters like a giant plow!
