At that moment, Si Ning’s heartbeat slowed down like he was dying, going in a slow th..ump thu..mp thum..p like the heart was struggling to beat as he felt a sharp pain like his heart was placed on a golden plate on a table and the man that was rushing to them holding his mother’s head was the one standing at the table and just used a golden knife to casually cut his heart into two then he smiled widely and started to stab his heart at different directions.

All Si Ning could see was the head dangling on the man’s hand, everything becoming grey and the man was the only one with colour. At that moment Si Ning’s heart started to accelerate beating thump thump thump in his ears as he suddenly felt all the trance he was in melt.

"Ahhhhhnnnnhhhh!!!" Si Ning yelled in agony like a wounded lion, his mouth wide open, his throat vibrating, his eyes turning red and large, veins filling his forehead as his hands shook. He suddenly kicked his horse into motion running head on to collide with his enemies.

"Si Ning!" Song Feng yelled immediately after he saw Si Ning go off like that without giving any instructions to his men, he also kicked his horse instantly to chase after Si Ning.

All the twenty four men with them also kicked their horses into motion as they drew their bows, following their General.

"Slow down! Si Ning!! Si Ning!!! Stop!...." Song Feng continued yelling at the top of his voice, his forehead beaded with sweat that had started to roll over the side of his head, his hand shaking as he held the horse reign tightly but Si Ning was going too fast he doesn’t know if he was going to catch up. He only watched Si Ning’s short hair flying on his head, the head so still he knew the head was never going to turn to him because his ears were probably blocked by rage.

Si Ning grabbed his bow that was strapped to the horse’s side and an arrow, he steadied his hand and released his arrow targetting the man that dared to hold his mother’s head and the arrow flew only for a soldier to intercept it, dropping dead as the arrow pierced him instead of the man holding the head and at that instant, the man only let his horse jump over the corpse then Si Ning drew the arrow again and shoot but another soldier intercepted again. "Fuck!!!" He yelled out in pain drawing another arrow.

Both the forces from the two directions were speeding to collide and some of Xilie’s men had gone down with the arrows that the reserved force kept shooting but the arrows the Xilie men were shooting were careful dodged by the reserved force because for a man to shoot while riding a horse was a great skill gotten after much practice or due to the individual being so skilled and the reserved force had that so dodging the arrows coming while shooting theirs was a piece of cake, only Si Ning was riding his horse like a mad man, not caring about himself but the speed of his horse was what made him not to be hit by any arrows because he was moving with the wind, he kept shooting his arrows perfectly aiming for the man in the centre but the Xilie’s soldiers kept blocking the arrows and when Si Ning knew his arrows was never going to be connected and his arrows were already finished, he threw his bow away unsheathing his sword at once.

Song Feng’s eyes were on the bow that #> Ning threw and he released one hand on the reigns and managed to act reflexly as he bent in a thirty degree and caught the bow with his free hand before it reach the ground then he continued racing after Si Ning as his eyes widened because he couldn’t believe the stunt he pulled, if it wasn’t on instinct he would be on the ground by now grunting in pain because he was going to fall off the horse harshly.

The moment the two forces were about to collide to start a greek war, the ground caved suddenly under the horse of Si Ning, Song Feng and the reserved force were too late so they all found themselves falling into a large pit which seemed to be a trap that had long been set on the ground.

Si Ning’s head was ringing, sands were in his ears, and he was confused to see most of his men struggling as he lay there on the ground holding his sword tightly, he raised his eyes to see an older man sporting a white beard with a moustache holding his mother’s head, it was the leader of the Xilie’s troop and Si Ning knew him, he had never seen the man but he knew the man was Ge Liang, all his senses, the blood circulating his body told him and he wanted to yell in rage but he only spat out blood as he helplessly watched the man raised his free hand as Xilie’s soldiers came forward from his side to the edge of the pit, holding bows and pointing arrows at them.

"What a pity so this is the end of the man called a great General, the son of Mengshu!" The man said.

Ge Liang’s voice was the most irritating voice Si Ning had ever heard that his ears almost bleed, watching as Ge Liang’s eyes darted around, looking at the men growling in the pit like he was looking for something as his eyes laid on Si Ning then he frowned before resting his eyes on one of Si Ning’s men, a man whose face was pretty. Si Ning knew his short hair must be the reason the man disregarded him because he would have thought there was no way the Empress of Xiu would cut his hair short like a barbarian so Si Ning that was rushing shooting arrows must be one of General Si Ning’s men and the man Ge Liang was focused on the armour which was silver and golden in colour different from the silver armour the rest wore and Si Ning’s armour was silver and blue. Then he watched Ge Liang give Ge Mengshu’s head to one of his subordinates as one gave him a bow and arrow and he drew his bow.

"Goodbye Empress of Xiu, my bastard nephew." Ge Liang released his bow.

The soldier Ge Liang’s eyes was on was already terribly pierced with a spike on his thighs and chest so Ge Liang shot him down and he died instantly after getting hit with three shot of arrows to his chest then he gave his bow to one of his men satisfied to see that the man he thought was Si Ning was dead then he raised his hand and all his men started releasing arrows to rain on his men in his pit and that moment Ge Liang turned and left.
