"Uhhhhhhhh..." Si Ning grunted continuously, he was bored out of his mind, he was currently laying on his bed and that was the position he had been since Jiang ChenMu left.

Yang Sheng brought him a series of meals but Si Ning had no appetite so he didn’t bother to stand up to check after he heard Ah Dai making a fuss outside that was when he decided to stand and to his surprise, it was Ah Dai trying to check the reason why he didn’t eat while Yang Sheng was holding him back. Si Ning got so scared he quickly sat down not even realizing Ah Dai wasn’t going to enter the room, he forced himself to eat just two spoonfuls of vegetable porridge because he doesn’t want Ah Dai to enter and lose his head and the moment Ah Dai nodded and Yang Sheng closed the door, Si Ning went back to lay on the bed, he felt so down feeling like the most useless person in the world because of being excluded from the most important meetings but it doesn’t matter because he was going to kill Qiu Bai and be the hero of Xiu, maybe a statue of him would be erected after his death and in the future, he would be seen as a legend.

"Eh eh eh eh..." Si Ning laughed as he rolled on his back. The thought of his future after his death wasn’t bad at all but then he realised all his thinking of positive things after his death was based on him trying to compensate himself, trying not to fear death too much but the truth deep down was he wasn’t ready to die.

What would his mother do? What would Si Nan do? How would they feel if they hear of him passing away due to his lone-man agenda? If he succeeds in killing Qiu Bai means he would not escape alive and since his army didn’t know means no one was going to come to his rescue so it was certain he was going to die. He had no idea when Qiu Bai’s guard or a mysterious message would appear before him but before then he was supposed to write a letter to his mother to tell her not to cry so much when he passes away and to tell Si Nan he loves her, he should also leave a letter for Xiu Zhicheng.

At that moment of thinking about leaving his family, Si Ning wanted to cry but he doesn’t want to because if he cries that makes him a coward so it was better not to go through with his plan if he was going to mop around about it.

Si Ning took a deep breath and closed his eyes, he replaced his thinking with the sweet memory he had of Xiu Zhicheng, not the memory of them cuddling but the memory of them doing much more. Xiu Zhicheng kissing him slowly on the lips, Si Ning traced a finger on his lower lip as he imagined how soft the kiss was then Xiu Zhicheng moving to kiss his neck, his eyebrow, behind his ear, Si Ning shivered already feeling some sweet tension building, he sneaking moved his hand inside his pants trying to get himself off thinking of Xiu Zhicheng making love to him but he heard the door open so he quickly sat up rearranging his cloth, his eyes narrowed as he sighed defeated because Yang Sheng had disturbed his sweet thinking.

The door closed and Yang Sheng came to view, seeing Yang Sheng every time was beginning to annoy Si Ning because Yang Sheng made sure he comes in now and then with little intervals only to bring out an excuse upon excuse for showing up.

"Your Majesty is there anything you need?" Yang Sheng asked carefully.

"No." Si Ning replied, he would love to tell Yang Sheng not to bother him so much, that was what he needs.

"Is there anything bothering Your Majesty? Your Majesty can tell this old servant, that everything is safe with this old man." He added.

Si Ning mouth fell open when he heard his excuse for coming in this time, an excuse to initiate a conversation with him, he couldnt belive the man that brought him rumours with straight face, rumours that prevented him from seeing his Commanders was actually telling him he was the perfect person for him to talk to, talking to Yang Sheng was going to be like talking to twenty people at the same time and expecting them all not to tell a single soul but Yang Sheng coming in to ask if he needed something or a coversation partner was expected because of Si Ning that didnt touch any other food except the porridge for lunch and he had been laying on the bed so it was normal for Yang Sheng to offer him a listening ear to show his concern for him but seeing Yang Sheng every day was tiring that Si Ning wished it was Ah Dai instead, at least with Ah Dai he won’t need to crack his brain to think of something they could talk about, there would always be all manner of discussion even if it was teasing, it was going to be flowing smoothly and Ah Dai would offer to give his feet a massage, apply some beauty product to his face, wash his hair and they always had tons of things to do that Si Ning could never get bored but talking to Yang Sheng was no good. Since he had been locked up, all his beauty routines were taken care of by himself so Ah Dai would have missed doing it for him which was also part of the reason for the longing look Ah Dai gives Si Ning whenever Yang Sheng opens the door, Si Ning would have also given him the same look if he didn’t have so much to think.

Si Ning thought about asking Yang Sheng of his family to start their conversation but he kicked the idea off. "No, I have nothing bothering me." He lied.

Yang Sheng stood there for a while but after seeing that Si Ning wasn’t interested in talking to him, he saluted and left the room.

Si Ning lay there hoping Chen An would come because Qiu Bai’s guard showing up at night was a possibility, he sat up wanting to write another letter for Chen An only for Yang Sheng to come in.

"Your Majesty, the Prime Minister is here." Yang Sheng reported.

Si Ning was only allowed to see one visitor and seeing Liu MingXia was already breaking the rule so he had no idea what to do about the Prime Minister. "Okay." He stood up and finally left the bed to stand beside the table. He doesn’t want Song Ouyang’s head to roll on the floor but it was him that came seeking death.

Yang Sheng went to the door and slide it open and Si Ning found himself facing Song Ouyang who stood outside without stepping in, with the air of being on a mission surrounding him with the rolled-up note he was holding.
