Chapter 93: Do you train at all? (Annabelle)

Elisa joined us, while Apphia and Maddai stayed behind to take care of the tribe. Upon reaching the Crimson Moon Tribe, I was amazed by the people I saw. Gaius hurriedly led us through the back door.

"What happened? I was about to dismiss the guests and come after you because I couldn’t reach anyone, and my messages went unanswered," Gaius exclaimed in frustration.

It was evident that the communication disruption was due to the mindlink group Zion had created for us. "Do you need answers, or should we get ready?" I asked. Gaius smiled in frustration, looking handsome in the suit he wore. "After, and she will help," he said, looking above me.

I turned to see a shy girl smiling awkwardly, which made me suspicious. "Who is she? Don’t tell me..." Gaius nodded proudly. "Yes, she’s my mate, a she-wolf from the Arrow tribe. Your designer had an emergency last night and sent her to help you," he explained, and I pieced together the rest.

"And you discovered you were mates," I concluded for him. This seemed like a goddess design because Gaius would have never had time to visit the Arrow tribe and would have never found his mate.

He nodded with a boyish grin. "She’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of. Her name is Light."

I could sense that, like me, he also yearned to be a part of the tribes. With a werewolf mate, his prayers had been answered, and he deserved it.

Light appeared shy, but I suspected there was more to her. "Alright, let’s go, Light," I informed her. She quickly grabbed my arm, her touch gentle.

"Do you train at all?" I asked her casually. She shook her head. "My tribe doesn’t allow omegas to train. I worked hard to earn my madam’s trust, and even though she put me in charge of her designs, I was still not allowed to train."

It was understandable why she was so shy. Training had a way of shaping characters and overcoming shyness. "I understand, but with Gaius as your mate, trust me, you will be better off."

She smiled, and her expression was one of surprise when we reached my room, the one I shared with Zach. "This room is huge," she exclaimed. I chuckled, thinking that if she had seen a beta’s room, she wouldn’t be so amazed, right?

"I bet you haven’t seen your mate’s room yet." I used to be in her shoes, admiring luxury, but Zion had changed everything.

He had given me everything I had ever dreamed of, so although Zach’s room was extravagant, it didn’t impress me much, except for the hidden kitchen.

Later, I realized it was because of his love for carrot juice, something I secretly admired. "I chose this style for you," Elisa barged in and interrupted, showing me a hairstyle before pausing. "I always thought Zion’s room was the best, but this?"

I sighed as I looked at the hairstyle she was showing me with interest. "Indeed. Can you do this?" I asked Light. She took a deep breath. "I can, but the guests have been waiting for a long time," she hinted, and I understood. However, she suggested an alternative.

"How about this? It will enhance your petite figure and give you a regal look."

That was the goal—to look elegant and command respect. "I’ll go with that."

In no time, she finished, and the style complemented the gown perfectly. It was modest yet conveyed authority, leadership, and beauty.

"You look stunning," Elisa complimented, and I agreed. Zach and Zeke looked the most handsome I had ever seen them, and I was particularly impressed that Zach had managed to get a haircut and still arrive on time.

They wore matching outfits with the same haircuts. The white tuxedos gave them a different look but matched my outfit. The hall was filled with stunning guests, most of whom were leaders of other tribes.

Surprisingly, my mom hadn’t come to see me, so I scanned the room and found her sitting next to a man in a wheelchair. Something stirred within me, and I realized it was my father.

My mother smiled, but it didn’t reach her eyes, which distracted me throughout the ceremony until Zach said something to refocus my attention on the unfolding event.

"Belle, it’s okay if you don’t want to be with me. I forced you, and I’m sorry. I remember everything now, and after all I did to you, you have every right to refuse to be my Luna."

Confusion clouded my mind as I saw the expectant looks from the guests. Zion approached and whispered in my ear, "Your attention seems divided, and the officiator has asked you three times if you accept the position of being his Luna."

Embarrassment washed over me as I forced a smile. Thankfully, Zach and Zion weren’t wearing matching outfits, which would have made it harder to tell them apart.

"I’m sorry, I already forgave you. I accept the position of your Luna because you will at least spend the rest of your life trying to make me happy."

Everyone laughed, but Zach’s smile was the most precious thing to me. As for the comments from other she-wolves and guests, I chose to ignore them.

The blood covenant proceeded smoothly, and soon, I could hear all the voices of tribe members in my head as Zach’s warm lips met mine.

The joy on Zeke’s face reassured me that I had made the right decision. ’You did the right thing, Anna,’ Sai said in my head amid all the congratulatory messages, and I couldn’t help but smile.

’I know, thank you for your help.’ The reception continued into the night, and the guests were accommodated in guest houses. Gaius had made that arrangement, not allowing anyone in the pack house because of my mom and the Lycans.

It was during the quiet of the night that I had a conversation with my dad, who had strangely recovered from his previous illness. However, he appeared sorrowful, devoid of any joy. Soon, the whole truth began to unfold.
