The nurse jotted everything down quickly, her face thoughtful. "Has he had any medical conditions we should be aware of? Allergies, medications?"

"For medical conditions, can you get Dr. Seo? He’ll know how to handle the situation. Haeun trusts him."

The nurse raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the urgency in Yeongsoo’s voice. "Dr. Seo is on duty right now. I can inform him about your request. If there’s anything specific you want me to tell him..."

"Yes," Yeongsoo interrupted, leaning forward. "Haeun has been experiencing nausea and throwing up for the past few days, and today it got worse. Dr. Seo knows his history better than anyone."

"Understood," the nurse replied, making a note. "I’ll get Dr. Seo right away."

As she walked off, Yeongsoo’s mind raced with thoughts of Haeun. He couldn’t shake the image of Haeun collapsing from his mind, and the weight of his worries settled heavily on his shoulders. What if it was something serious?

He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm his racing heart. After a few moments, the nurse returned with Dr. Seo, who had a focused yet friendly demeanor.

"Mr. Cheon," Dr. Seo greeted, recognizing him instantly. "I heard you were asking for me. What’s going on with Mr. Yoon?"

Yeongsoo stood up, urgency in his voice. "He’s been nauseous for a while now, and he wanted to go to work today to test some games. After we got out, he suddenly threw

up and collapsed."

"Given the situation and the history, I’m going to order an ultrasound," Dr. Seo said, glancing between Yeongsoo and the nurse. "Haeun’s pheromone deficiency is likely the cause of what happened."

Yeongsoo, already well-aware of the risks from their previous conversation, nodded with a tight jaw. "It’s what I was worried about. Do what you need to, but we need answers quickly."

The nurse seemed slightly confused by the exchange, but Dr. Seo’s instructions were clear, and she prepared for the procedure efficiently. As they moved forward with the ultrasound, the tension between Yeongsoo and Dr. Seo was palpable, both men acutely aware of Haeun’s delicate condition due to his omega biology and the heightened need for pheromone stability.

"His symptoms are progressing faster than expected," Dr. Seo noted after reviewing the initial scan. "If his body is rejecting other alphas’ pheromones or any pheromone this aggressively, we’re likely dealing with more than just a deficiency."

Haeun squinted up at him, confusion clouding his eyes. "What happened?" His voice was hoarse, and he shifted slightly, trying to sit up.

"You collapsed after throwing up. Dr. Seo is here to help you," Yeongsoo explained, keeping his tone steady. "We’re going to do an ultrasound to check on things."

Haeun’s expression shifted to one of concern, and he glanced over at Dr. Seo, who was setting up the ultrasound machine with a focused demeanor. "Is it serious?" he asked, his voice trembling slightly.

Dr. Seo looked up from his work, meeting Haeun’s gaze. "We need to assess your condition fully. Given the symptoms you’ve been experiencing, it’s important to ensure that everything is okay with the pregnancy."

Haeun’s breath caught in his throat. He had known he was pregnant for over a month, but the gravity of the situation pressed down on him as he nodded. "Okay," he murmured, his heart racing.

Dr. Seo motioned for Haeun to lie back down, and as he did, he felt Yeongsoo’s reassuring presence beside him. Yeongsoo’s hand rested gently on his arm, grounding him amid the unease swirling in his mind.

As Dr. Seo began to apply the ultrasound gel, Haeun closed his eyes, trying to steady his breathing. The coolness of the gel was a shock to his warm skin, but he welcomed it as a distraction.

"Everything will be alright, Haeun," Yeongsoo said quietly, his voice low and calm. "I’m here with you."

Dr. Seo moved the ultrasound wand over Haeun’s abdomen, the machine humming softly. A moment later, the screen flickered to life, displaying various shapes and shadows that indicated the life growing inside him.

"There it is," Dr. Seo said, pointing to the screen. "That’s the fetus—about five or six weeks along, just as we suspected. The pregnancy looks stable, but we need to monitor it closely given your symptoms."

Haeun’s heart raced as he stared at the screen. The reality of the situation washed over him—he was going to be a parent, but the anxiety of his condition and the fear of what could happen settled heavily in his chest.

Dr. Seo’s expression turned serious. "We need to address the pheromone deficiency immediately. If your body is rejecting other alphas’ pheromones, it can complicate the pregnancy. How often you currently in contact with your alpha’s pheromones?"

"All the time, we recently started living together.."

Dr. Seo nodded, clearly relieved to see that they were taking this seriously. "Good. It’s crucial. Mr. Yoon, you need to stay close to Mr.Cheon. He’s essential for your health and the baby’s. We’ll work on a plan to manage your symptoms and monitor your progress."

"Is that our baby?" Haeun asked looking at the small dot on the monitor.

"Ah yes, once the fetus gets to second trimester you’ll be able to see the baby fully.."
