"Dear, did you perhaps tell him about your culture by chance?" Irene couldn’t help but ask curiously as she looked at Briar’s pierced earrings.

When Bertha heard that, her eyes lit up as she found some leeway and probably the reason why all this was happening.

When Vivian heard that, she couldn’t help but remember Briar’s weird culture as well. She looked at her curiously, eager to hear the answer.

Briar, who had explained everything to Logan several days ago, couldn’t help but blush as she recalled how shy she was when revealing some things to Logan back then.

When the three ladies saw that, they smiled knowingly and Irene asked teasingly, "Could it be that he is waiting until all the rituals are done before going to the next stage? After all, if he respects you, then he might as well want to make it special!"

When Bertha heard that, she nodded, agreeing with Irene’s reasoning.

"You don’t have his claim on you right now. So, he might be waiting for the right moment to do it. You know special moments need to be prepared for seriously. You just don’t go around sleeping with people just because you can do so!"

Vivian nodded with a shy smile on her face, thinking back to that special moment she shared with her fiancé.

Briar’s face was heating up with all the teasing, but she found what they were saying reasonable. She had felt how much he wanted her back at the office and yet he held it in. Could it be that he wanted to give her the anklet and all that first before sleeping with her?

Just thinking about it, she couldn’t help but feel warmth coursing through her body.

Maybe he cared for her more than she thought. She felt jovial just thinking about it.

Seeing Briar looking silly, the ladies smiled as well, and their impression of Logan improved. Having such a kind of man was truly special. She was very lucky.

"Okay, so let’s wait patiently. One day, he will surely surprise you!"

Briar nodded shyly, accepting that with both hands.

"For now, we just need to make sure that you will be ready when that day comes. How about we do some shopping?"

"Indeed. We need to buy a few more good stuff. The kind that would drive him crazy every single night!"

Briar felt shy the more she listened to the three planning for her without even including her in the discussion. She watched helplessly as they planned from start to finish.

Before she could even ask what they were doing; she was dragged outside and moments later, the two cars were driving away from the gated complex.

Just like that, Briar found herself going through a reformation operation, one that boldened her up a bit.

Every time they pushed her into the changing room, they would look at her and say to her seriously, "For your happiness. Go ahead and try it!"

With them, saying shameless words like that continuously, how could she win against them?

As a result, shopping bags kept on increasing. They were willing to swipe their cards, and she was left with no choice but to change continuously until they were satisfied.

However, she was happy throughout the whole ordeal, although she was shy with the enthusiasm of her friends.

She knew that they were doing this for her and she didn’t want to let them down. For her happiness, she needed to learn to be bold every single day, otherwise, he might get bored with her.

Thinking like that, she didn’t forget to buy Logan’s favorite chokers and her friends were happy to add a bit more unspeakable toys alongside the purchase, which made her face feel very hot.

"In life, you need to spice things up. If he doesn’t like it, then find other means to keep him busy and entertained. We can’t let him be taken by other vixens out there!" Vivian shamelessly said as she paid for the toys, which made her unable to look at the cashier.

The cashier simply smiled as she packed everything, but didn’t say a single word.

After getting everything that they thought Briar needed, Bertha suggested, "We aren’t sure when your hubby might feel like having you. So, what about having a spa tomorrow? You need to maintain your body well. That way, you can take whatever comes your way!"

That suggestion was very tempting. Briar didn’t mind having her body done, so she agreed readily to the matter.

As a result, Vivian became the person who was going to be with Briar for this trip. Bertha couldn’t go since she was supposed to be at the hospital, while Irene had other jobs to complete.

Vivian was free, and to make sure that Briar received the best service, she needed to go.

The three ladies arranged everything on their own, and Briar, the person involved, stood there and accepted whatever came her way.

Once all was done, it was already around 3 pm, so the four friends decided to go their separate ways.

Irene and Bertha left in their car while Vivian and Briar left with theirs.

On the way back home, Vivian had so much to say about what had happened earlier and her face was full of smiles.

"I didn’t think that those two were like that in private!" Vivian amusingly said.

Those two were indeed different. In public, they looked nonchalant, and yet in private, they were easygoing. When she recalled how hilarious the day was, she was thankful that Briar befriended them. Although she was envious before, she was no longer like that.

Those two treated her as if they had known her for ages and didn’t make her feel alienated at all. That showed that they treated the two of them like real friends, and it was comforting.

Briar smiled as she thought of how hilarious those two could be, but she didn’t share that. After all, she was supposed to act like someone who had just befriended them for a short while and not a long time.

"They are good people. That’s why I became close to them. At least they aren’t pretentious like the other rich madams out there!"

"Indeed. Some of those women just make me feel like puking. They act as if they stand above everyone else. Who do they think they are?"

"Hehe, they are entitled. Don’t bother with them!"

The two friends happily chatted all the way home.

Since Vivian had brought her car, she sent Briar to her home first. When they arrived, the maids came out to help with the shopping bags and Briar held onto the bag with toys. There was no way she would let anyone else hold that bag for her.

After successfully sending Briar home, Vivian left after reminding her about the reservation that was made for the spa session.

Briar acknowledged that before going into the house. The maids brought everything to the top floor and those with the permission to enter the master bedroom brought the bags inside.

When all the bags were in the room, she sent away the maids before she started going through her purchase with a burning face.

Briar looked at the new purchase and recalled what Vivian had bought for her the other time. She took that out as well and arranged them together.

Briar took out her old lingerie and compared it to the ones her friends bought for her. And suddenly felt that she was still playing.

She gathered her old lingerie and the nightwear and decided to burn them. As long as she didn’t see them, she would be forced to wear the new ones. Effort should be put all the time and this time she was determined.

If that Raine person comes before she captures Logan with both her heart and body, who knows what might happen?

With the kids being brought home by the chauffeur, Briar busied herself with getting rid of all the old clothes that didn’t suit her status. She only sighed with relief once everything had turned into ashes.

Somewhere around 6 pm, the kids arrived home, and she was there to welcome them.

Tiana, being the talkative one, talked about her day as they entered the house and everyone was happy.

Logan wasn’t returning home early, so the family of four enjoyed their dinner by themselves. After dinner, they watched the TV for an hour before all the kids were sent to their rooms to do their homework.

With the kids doing homework, Briar went outside for a walk and to enjoy some fresh air.

While she was walking, she received a call from Alice and she was a bit surprised. She wasn’t expecting the other to call her. It’s been days since they last talked. So, what could the other want from her this time?

That question was answered a moment later after she answered the call.

[Briar, are you free?]

Briar pondered over that matter before answering, "Tomorrow, I have an appointment with a friend. Going to a spa." Her words were as truthful as they could be.

[Oh! That’s good. Do you mind if I join as well?]

When Briar heard that, her brows corked, thinking to herself that Alice must be in trouble for her to be so eager like that.

"Um. If that’s what you want, then cool!"

[Sure. You send me where you are going and I will join you tomorrow.]

The two talked briefly before the call ended. Briar sent the address to Alice and the other replied, confirming that she would be there.

Knowing Alice, she must be wanting to meet to talk about Tim and Anna. Could it be that she guessed that she was the one who tipped her off again?

She couldn’t help but wonder.
