Wang Yanran, watching Luo Hao's defeated expression, found the situation rather amusing.

She glanced at Ye Chuan, then turned and left.

Her objective was achieved; she would contact him again in five days.

"Get it yourself," Luo Xi replied, still watching online lectures on her phone.

"Don't you know how to feed Daddy?"

"Fine, fine, for the sake of your ancestral secret recipe." Luo Xi picked up a rib and fed it to Ye Chuan.

Ye Chuan chewed on the rib, glancing at Luo Hao's constipated expression.

"I'm full," Luo Hao said, his face pale, picking up his tray and standing up.

"Oh," Ye Chuan replied, spitting out the bone.

After Luo Hao left, only Ye Chuan and Luo Xi remained. 

Luo Xi looked at her phone and asked curiously, "Chuan Chuan, why are you being so mean to Luo Hao?"

Luo Xi wasn't stupid; she had noticed Ye Chuan's deliberate jabs at Luo Hao.

"Isn't it obvious he likes you?" Ye Chuan chuckled.

"Really? We barely talk," Luo Xi said, puzzled. "How did you know?"

"A man's sixth sense."

"Men have a sixth sense too?"

"Actually, I'm a woman, and I'm a lesbian, so having a sixth sense isn't strange… Oh, and I'm also a vegetarian environmentalist, just with a slight taste for… unusual things," Ye Chuan deadpanned, stacking his buffs.

"Not really." Ye Chuan glanced at her. "You think I don't know you're after my body?"

"No way, don't flatter yourself!" Luo Xi lightly slapped Ye Chuan a few times.

She suddenly disliked that label.

"We can be more than childhood sweethearts," Ye Chuan smiled, then, to the girl's surprise, he kissed her on the lips.

Luo Xi's body stiffened for a moment, then relaxed.

A few seconds later, Ye Chuan looked at Luo Xi, her face as red as an apple. "So?"

"Sly…" Luo Xi mumbled, tugging at the corner of Ye Chuan's shirt. "Do you do this with every girl?"

"Can't say for sure," Ye Chuan chuckled.

Seeing Luo Xi's cute, pouting expression, Ye Chuan added, "But that was my first kiss, so cherish it."

"..." Luo Xi touched her lips and grinned.

"At least you have some conscience."

She paused, then asked, "So… are we official now? Am I your girlfriend?"

"If you like, we can just play around, I don't mind."

"No way!" Luo Xi immediately said. "You're my boyfriend now!!"

Ye Chuan smiled. "Mm."

"Th-then I'm not against going to a hotel with you," Luo Xi stammered, her voice getting softer and softer, like a mosquito.

"You're that eager?" Ye Chuan raised an eyebrow.

"N-no!!"

Ye Chuan pinched Luo Xi's cheek. "You know, you're quite cute sometimes."

"That fast? Up to you."

"I want to hear what you think," Luo Xi said. "And of course, girls want their boyfriends to tell everyone that they're together."

Hearing this, Ye Chuan stood up. "Wife, I'm full!"

His loud, spirit-infused voice immediately attracted the attention of the surrounding students.

Ye Chuan remained indifferent. "Let's go, I'm full anyway."

"Hurry up!"

Luo Xi grabbed Ye Chuan's arm and practically dragged him out of the cafeteria.
