Ch. 66 - Kim Jong-Hee

Jinwan Airport.

A man wearing sunglasses stepped outside the plane. Around twenty-five, he was tall and muscular, with prominent veins on his arms, with clear bearings of someone who worked out regularly.

He looked around and, after leaving the arrivals area, noticed a few familiar faces.

"B-Brother!" The greeters were Huang Haotian and a few members of the Taekwondo Club. Seeing the man, their faces lit up with excitement.

Kim Jong-hee looked at them silently.

Huang Haotian, feeling guilty, could only force a smile under the gaze of their former president.

"Huang Haotian, what in the world happened?!" Kim Jong-hee asked, his voice laced with anger. 

"A dozen of you were defeated by one skinny guy! You've completely disgraced the Taekwondo Club!"

He had watched the video repeatedly, and seeing Ye Chuan single-handedly defeat the entire club filled him with a mixture of anger and disappointment. How could they be so pathetic?

"Brother, it's not our fault! That guy was really weird, his body was incredibly tough, and he could even burn people!" Huang Haotian quickly explained, but his words sounded like a joke to Kim Jong-hee.

He sneered. "Oh, and did he also shout some kind of special move and kick you with flaming legs?" He was mocking the over-the-top nature of some martial arts movies and anime.

"W-well…" Huang Haotian stammered, unable to articulate the strange experience. But that was exactly how it felt.

When he kicked Ye Chuan, it felt like kicking a burning hot iron.

He hadn't felt like he was fighting, but rather deep-frying his own foot.

He hadn't even dared to go to school these past few days. 

The video of the duel had gone viral on the forum, and thanks to its spread on short video platforms, even teachers and students who rarely used the internet knew about it.

The Taekwondo Club had become a laughingstock.

Of course, the president of the Sanda Club was in a similar situation after all his boasts of disbelief.

Knocked out with a single punch, he hadn't even had time to beg for mercy.

They were truly brothers in misfortune.

"I haven't even been gone for two years, and you've run the club into the ground." Kim Jong-hee really wanted to punch Huang Haotian, but he just tossed his bag at him.

"Take my luggage to the hotel and arrange for a meal. I'm going to deal with that guy tomorrow."

"Right away, Brother, I'll arrange it immediately," Huang Haotian said, then hesitated.

"Brother… I'm a bit short on cash, could you…"

Kim Jong-hee's eyes narrowed. He had rushed back from Korea, and now he had to pay for his own hotel?

Were the younger generation so disrespectful these days?

"Where's your money?!"

At the mention of money, Huang Haotian's face darkened. Hadn't it all been lost to that Ye Chuan kid?

He quickly explained what happened.

"You're such a loser!" Kim Jong-hee thought Huang Haotian was an idiot. Not only had he been defeated, but he had also lost all his money.

And then borrowed from loan sharks!

And still lost!

Once you started borrowing from loan sharks, unless you paid it back in one go, it was a bottomless pit.

"You deal with your own mess. I want to see my hotel room tonight. You figure it out!" Kim Jong-hee glared at Huang Haotian. He was starting to regret leaving the Taekwondo Club in his hands.

"O-okay…" Huang Haotian could only nod with a wry smile. It seemed he would have to beg and borrow again tonight.

He was already trapped in a cycle of debt, the interest piling up. He had no idea when he would be able to pay it all back.

Thinking of this, his hatred for Ye Chuan intensified. If it weren't for that guy, he wouldn't be in this miserable situation!

Meanwhile, after leaving the cafeteria, Ye Chuan and Luo Xi strolled along a path in the woods. 

They still had some time before their afternoon classes.

Many couples came here for a walk after lunch, so seeing Ye Chuan and Luo Xi walking arm in arm wasn't unusual. 

Silver Mountain Academy didn't forbid relationships; the principal even publicly supported them as a part of youth.

Ye Chuan looked at the girl beside him, whose arm was tightly linked through his. He said, "Aren't you holding on a bit too tight?"

Luo Xi's mind was still a bit hazy. Hearing Ye Chuan, she misheard him and tightened her grip even more, her arm practically squeezing his.

"..." Whatever.

Ye Chuan had thought she was using padding, but after the incident with her nightgown and his backpack space, he realized she was genuinely strong.

Luo Xi's face was still flushed, and she seemed a bit nervous. "ChuanChuan, what do couples usually do?"

"Have sex."

"Anything else?"

"Find different places to have sex."

But he was also planning to take Bai QianShuang out this weekend.

"Chuan Chuan, does Miss Bai QianShuang like you?"

Ye Chuan glanced at Luo Xi. "Who knows?"

But in reality, he didn't think Bai QianShuang had any romantic feelings for him. 

That airheaded swordswoman seemed oblivious to such things, always talking about "forever."

A lifetime commitment was a bit much…

Of course, it wasn't a bad thing. Ye Chuan was quite happy with the daily gold coins and item drops.

"Don't flatter yourself," Luo Xi said, wrinkling her nose cutely.

Ye Chuan chuckled. "Let's go, lunch break is almost over."
