Huo Sinan had gathered his men, as he had been ambushed and captured by He Dong the previous night, he naturally wasn’t going to sit and wait for doom.

What could he do to repay this affection?

"Ruirui!" Huo Sinan couldn’t help but call out Qiao Rui’s name once more.

Pei Liyan glanced at Huo Sinan with a look of spring in his eyes, a sharp gleam flashing in his own. "Pick your moments."

Huo Sinan shot Pei Liyan a look and tilted his chin up slightly, smug that Ruirui was being kind to him, which must be irritating for Pei Liyan.

"Hmph! Mind your own business."

Pei Liyan sneered coldly, "Idiot!"

Huo Sinan was about to retort when Qiao Rui spoke to Lei Ting. "Mr. Lei Ting, what about you?"

Lei Ting shook his head. "I’m fine too."

"That’s good," Qiao Rui nodded and then tossed the dagger to Huo Sinan.

Then, under everyone’s watchful eyes, Qiao Rui forcefully twisted He Dong’s arm.

In an instant, she dislocated one of his arms, then quickly moved on to the other.

but thinking of how this girl had come to rescue him, his heart was deeply touched and his gaze towards Qiao Rui filled with admiration.
