Qiao Rui suddenly snapped back to reality as one of the men already lunged at her.

She slightly sidestepped and bent her elbow, striking the man, who instantly tumbled to the ground with a scream.

Qiao Rui quickly lifted her foot and added a stomp, sending the man sprawling even farther.

"Little sister, you’ve got good moves, but don’t forget, this is my territory," He Dong believed that no one had ever been this brazen on his turf.

Even the surnamed Xu hadn’t been this arrogant. This girl might have good skills, but she was also an outsider.

Qiao Rui was just as calm, saying, "Today, I’d like to see what it’s like to tear down your turf."

Immediately, He Dong shouted, "All of you, stop!"

Seeing their boss subdued, his brothers became panicked.

They looked toward Qiao Rui in terror.

Qiao Rui’s commanding voice said, "Have your men bring out Huo Sinan and Lei Ting!"

He Dong paused and then said, "Miss, let me go, and I’ll bring them out myself, is that alright?"

"Shut up!" Qiao Rui pressed the dagger in a bit more.

He Dong quickly ordered, "Go and bring them out now."

The next second, someone scurried toward the house, and shortly after, the man came running back, exclaiming, "No good, boss. They’re gone!"

"What?" He Dong was shocked. "How could they disappear?"

Qiao Rui was also suspicious, thinking it was a trick of theirs, so she pushed the dagger forward slightly and said sternly, "No tricks."

"Miss, even if you gave me ten times the courage, I wouldn’t dare," He Dong seemed genuinely helpless, "I just found out they’re gone. They were here this morning."

Qiao Rui was unmoved.
