Chapter 327: Chapter 327: The Plotter Gets Outplotted

Shen Shuyi froze for a moment, her face turning pale, her body trembling. "You...what do you mean?"

Song Xun sneered coldly, his sharp gaze locking onto her eyes and brows: "Trying to drug me, scheming to sleep with me? Did you think I’m that easy to manipulate?"

Shen Shuyi’s face grew even paler, drained of color, as she murmured, "I didn’t."

She shook her head, her lips trembling, her voice nearly breaking: "I didn’t scheme against you. Stop slandering me. What right do you have to say this about me?"

"I knew you’d never admit it." Song Xun sneered again, his gaze growing icier: "Did you think I would accuse you without evidence?"

Shen Shuyi was stunned, her lips trembling even more. "It’s you...you’re the one scheming against me, aren’t you?"

Song Xun scoffed coldly: "If you hadn’t tried to drug me, I wouldn’t have turned around and schemed against you. But since you dared to drug me, did you think I’d let you toy with me like I’m some man under your thumb?"

Shen Shuyi couldn’t believe it. That night, the man who had been with her wasn’t Song Xun—then who was it?

Who entered Song Xun’s house and shared a bed with her?

She couldn’t bear to think of it further, her face as white as a sheet.

It was terrifying.

She struggled desperately, trying to pull her hand back, but Song Xun held it tightly.

"Let go of me," Shen Shuyi shouted.

"Let go of you?" Song Xun’s voice was cold and grim, the morning sunlight illuminating his face without warming the sharp lines: "So you can cross boundaries and act shamelessly again?"

"I didn’t!" Shen Shuyi shook her head. "You’re too scary, Song Xun. How could you do this to me?"

"You’re the one who struck first," Song Xun sneered. "If you hadn’t made the first move, I wouldn’t have turned against you."

"I did it because I love you!" Shen Shuyi shouted in despair. "Is loving you a sin?"

"Loving someone isn’t a sin—it’s a curse!" He let out a bitter laugh, then his face sank again as he barked, "Tell me, why did you come to the hospital?"

"I...I came to see Song Muyu." Shen Shuyi was scared, his anger had completely frightened her.

The words he’d just said had already shaken her soul, and now, his treatment of her was horrifying.

Downstairs in the inpatient department, their squabble quickly attracted a lot of attention.

Song Xun’s sharp and icy gaze landed on Shen Shuyi’s face, looking at her as if she were the most disgusting thing—his disdain and loathing were undeniably clear.

He had originally thought that as long as Shen Shuyi behaved herself, he could turn a blind eye and let things pass.

But since the night of their engagement, she’d started implying that she wanted to be intimate with him, and he had refused.

Feeling dissatisfied, she resorted to drugging him, hoping to seduce him together.

He saw through it, caught her in the act, and recorded the whole process.

That glass of water ended up being drunk by Shen Shuyi herself, due to her overuse of the drug, leaving her in a confused mess.

As for who actually slept with Shen Shuyi that night, he had no intention of telling her and planned to keep it a secret forever.

His only reason for revealing this now was that she’d crossed a line.

He wanted her to rein in her behavior and stop going overboard.

But this woman had actually sent someone to follow him. Yesterday, when he didn’t return home and went to stay at the apartment, she showed up at the apartment early in the morning and questioned him about why he didn’t return to their shared home.

He completely lost his temper.

Then, she had the audacity to come to the hospital behind his back to confront Muyu.

The nerve of her.

"What did you say to her?" Song Xun demanded coldly.

Shen Shuyi, stunned by his shouting and the crowd around them, turned embarrassed, her face alternating between pale and red.

"Song Xun, I’m not arguing with you here," she said, trying to maintain her composure. "Let’s talk at home."

But Song Xun merely mocked her with a cold laugh. "You should go home and reflect on your actions."

With that, he glanced behind him.

His assistant, Gao Qi, immediately stepped forward. "President?"

"Send Miss Shen back home for me, and make sure she doesn’t leave without my orders."

"Understood!" Gao Qi quickly obeyed and took Shen Shuyi away.

Song Xun stood downstairs for a while, looking up in the direction of the upper floors. He pursed his lips before ultimately stepping into the elevator and heading upstairs.

At the door of Song Muyu’s hospital room, he hesitated, debating whether or not to knock.

At that moment, Song Muyu, determined to get out of bed, was about to find the nurse for something.

As she opened the door, she saw Song Xun’s stern expression.

Song Muyu frowned slightly. "You’re here again?"

This morning, he was dressed in a meticulously tailored suit, looking every inch the gentleman, but his face was particularly grim.

Being questioned by Song Muyu, he paused momentarily before furrowing his brow. "Let me come in—I’ll say a few words and leave."

Song Muyu frowned deeper. "There’s nothing to talk about. Leave."

Shen Shuyi had just been here, and now he was here too. The couple arriving back-to-back was incredibly annoying.

She felt exhausted.

Naturally, her attitude toward Song Xun was anything but polite.

Seeing her speak this way, Song Xun froze for a moment, then said, "What did Shen Shuyi say to you earlier?"

Song Muyu was surprised. So that’s why he came.

She furrowed her brows and replied coldly, "Nothing."

"Really?" Song Xun sounded skeptical. "Tell me the truth."

Judging by Shen Shuyi’s demeanor earlier, she had clearly come with anger. Who knew what she was trying to pull?

"Believe it or don’t!" Song Muyu’s tone was indifferent.

Song Xun’s gaze darted across Song Muyu’s face for a few seconds, observing her calmly, though her expression betrayed mild impatience.

Her face was unusually composed, as if devoid of emotion.

Feeling this contempt, Song Xun grew equally impatient.

"Fine." He nodded faintly. "I’ll believe you."

Song Muyu hesitated, dropping her gaze as she said coldly, "Leave now!"

Song Xun’s eyes twitched as he stared deeply at her for a moment, then turned and left.

Song Muyu exhaled in relief.

She didn’t leave her room, instead turning back inside.

Perhaps it was that audible sigh of relief that Song Xun heard.

He suddenly turned back and, just as Song Muyu went to close the door, he pushed it open forcefully.

Song Muyu jumped in surprise and instinctively looked at him.

He stood at the doorway, gazing down at her pale face, his disheveled dark hair framing the deep intensity of his eyes.

Once again, Song Muyu frowned, her attitude toward him even colder.

Song Xun was silent for a long while before bitterly laughing. "Do you despise me this much now?"

Song Muyu spoke icily: "Being hesitant isn’t your style. Don’t make me look down on you."

"You!" Song Xun gritted his teeth in rage. "You’ve grown bold!"

Song Muyu found his behavior nonsensical. "Leave. I’ve told you, stop coming to find me."

"Then tell me, what did Shen Shuyi say to you?" He remained fixated on getting an answer.

Song Muyu couldn’t even be bothered to respond.

Song Xun stared at her silently, his eyes dark as ink.

Suddenly, he grabbed Song Muyu and pulled her entirely into his arms.

The warmth of his embrace made Song Muyu’s heart ache faintly; she caught a hint of the faint perfume scent.

It was Shen Shuyi’s perfume.

Song Muyu reached out to push him away, her tone frosty: "Please show some respect."
