Lucian chuckled as we sneaked out of the hospital at about half past ten. Levi Isla drove us to the KODA council as Anisha Tala and Zeeb remained by the hospital. The plan was laid out well, and we even had a decoy in the bed to replace Lucian. The pack doctors were so surprised because I survived the drugging since the dosage that was used was extreme.

"Everest is already at the KODA council. The elders are home to avoid suspicion and I will be Everest alibi," Levi spoke up from the front seat.

" mmm "I responded as the car drove into the KODA council. Everest stood at the entrance of the council offices on guard. As we alighted from the car, he opened the doors and we got in, heading straight for the Crystal room. Surprisingly, there were no guards at the KODA council offices and we strolled in with no worries.

As we approached the door of the Crystal room, a bright light shone from the room and the door opened. Lucian and I walked in as Levi and Everest remained behind the door. The door closed, and a voice spoke. " Dolf and Freki, you finally made your way here. Took you long enough" A male voice rose from inside the Crystal.

"Who are you? "I spoke up as we approached the Adora Crystal.

"Adora," the male voice spoke inside the Crystal.

"I never knew it could speak, "Lucian whispered.

The door of the Crystal room opened and then Tizheruk walked in and snickered. " He is always a mouthful"

"Slithering bastard, you finally showed yourself after losing me all those years," Adora spoke.

"I left you in a safe place where Freki could find you. "Tizheruk chuckled. "You should be thankful I kept you with me all these years. "

"Your body is too cold. "Adora’s voice shook in a shuddering effect.

"Is this for real? "Lucian turned to me in shock.

"I am as baffled as you are," I responded.

"Let’s get down to business" Tizheruk approached Crystal. " Let me borrow some of your power," He stated as he moved towards the Adora. We watched as a white aura left the Adora and entered into Tizheruk.

"How is this possible ?" Lucian asked.

"He is the original guardian of the Crystal. It entwined your destinies until he finds his mate. "Adora chuckled and Tizheruk huffed in anger. After a few minutes, the white aura receded and Tizheruk nodded as a sign of thanks to Adora.

"Are you here to take the power of Adora and become its full guardian?" Adora asked.

"Not as yet. I have concerns about endangering the pack. And Lobo Aria seems to have made plans to acquire a similar crystal. "I informed Adora

"There is another crystal, but it is not easy to find. It’s lodged deep in the Japanese mountains and the only way to get it is to pay gold to the yakuza mafia to mine for it" Adora responded.

"Fuck" Tizheruk cursed. " Is this why Lobo is mining gold in the mountains? It’s good that I stopped him. The downside is that we do not know how much he had paid and if they have found the Crystal"

"Its name is Tabular. It’s dangerous and drains power from normal shifter, betas, lunas and is only used by Alpha’s. They must never find it."

"What? If Lobo gets a hold of the crystal, the Golden Pack shifter will be doomed. "

"You must stop him at all cost" Adora’s voice rose. "Come closer Dolf"

I moved closer, and then a red aura surrounded me as I felt the power of Adora seep into me. "I am giving you half of my power. This will make you the most powerful shifter ever. Bonded with the power of the Freki, you are now a Demi-wolf god. All the guardian’s powers have been removed from them and now lie with you"

"What about Elder Zaya?" Lucian spoke up.

"Tizheruk already healed her. She is fine." Adora stated.

"What? When?" Lucian moved closer to Tizheruk.

"Before I came. Or else she would not have survived if Adora had taken his powers back. " Tizheruk stated.

The red aura disappeared slowly, and I felt my body buzz with power. Dolf growled, and the sound rumbled in my chest. "Tizheruk, you never told me you had healing powers"

"There is so much you dont know about your best friend, " Adora teased.

"I want to be able to shit like him" Lucian pointed at me and Tizheruk laughed.

"Since you are mated to him, you can. " Tizheruk winked at me. "You just have not given it a try"

"Why are you always this playful in serious matters? " I snapped at Tizheruk

"You have no idea how much I have had to put up with his madness," Adora huffed.

"Time to leave. " Tizheruk turned towards the door. "See you soon Adora "

"I hope not. I know your mate is waiting for you, " Adora teased as the door opened and we left the Crystal room.

Everest and Levi escorted us out of the KODA council offices and drove us back to the hospital. We sneaked back in close to one am and I noticed the worried look on Anisha as she paced up and down. "You will give me more dizziness. "I snapped at her.

"Lucian, your aunt from Texas called. How did she know you were in trouble?" Anisha whispered.

"What? Aunty Sasha? "Lucian asked.

"Yes" Anisha nodded.

"Someone must have called her, "Lucian cursed. "But who?’

"No idea, but I can find out, "Anisha assured me. "We are leaving. I believe you dont need anyone to guard the door? It better to stay the night and get discharged tomorrow"

"That is fine, "I responded before Lucian could say anything. I needed to be alone with him for a while.

"Goodnight to both of you" Anisha left the hospital room.

Lucian changed into the hospital pajamas and got on the bed. I joined him on the bed as we got comfortable and I held him on my chest while I rubbed his back. " You need all the rest since it’s almost morning and tomorrow we face Lobo at the KODA council "

I listened in outside, heard pacing outside the door, and sensed Benjamin. It seems the power of the Adora had increased my senses. I walked to the door, opened it, and walked out of the room.

"Conri," Benjamin spoke up, and he looked like he was in a panic.

"What is it?" I demanded.

"It seems I have lost the power of the Adora, "He responded.

I nodded and then his eyes widened with the realization that the power of the Crystal had left all the guardians.

"You succeeded?" He whispered.

"Yes. But you need to keep this away from Lobo, or else there will be trouble," I informed her.

" What about Elder Zaya?" Benjamin stepped forward in a panic.

"She is already healed," I responded. " I would never comprise all of you. You can relax. I am more worried about the pack and the repercussions of having Lobo discover what transpired today. I have some information to share about what he has been doing and I will do so tomorrow at the KODA council"

"Thank you Conri. I will go to Elder Zaya’s house in the morning to pick her up," Benjamin nodded.

"Have you checked on the rest of the KODA council members?" I asked Benjamin with concern.

"It would be best to know how he is before tomorrow morning. Reach out to Levi so that he can find out what is going on," I suggested.

"Have a good night, Conri. "Benjamin patted my shoulder and left. I got back into the hospital room, climbed on the bed, pulled Lucian into a cuddle, and willed my body to sleep.
