CONRI’S POV

The screams from the serpent shifters were so gruesome that Dolf was enraged and everyone around us was in fury and anger. Their emotions seem to cause the moon gods’ power to be imbalanced. Alexander staggered back and Hunter and Tala rushed to hold him.

" You need to tell them to calm down as their emotions are all over the mountain" Dolf pointed out.

" Calm down all of you," Conri commanded everyone" Your emotions are affecting the mountain"

" That is the true King of Wolves, " The mountain god nodded as Izak and Austin fell on the ground from the powers the mountain god used to suppress them.

" We are back " We heard Tala’s voice from a distance as she dragged Yari’s mother, Hunter, and Jerusha hot on her heels.

" Jail cell" Yari’s voice boomed " She deserves to rot in prison "

" But not before I deal with her " Meglado stated as he pushed his power into her Yari’s mother screamed in pain and seconds she fell unconscious.

" Suppressing her shifter powers is a good enough punishment. Thank you ancient spear" The mountain god nodded. Tala picked her up and dragged her to the jail and we followed her.

" You need to understand them, Husband. This is too much for all of us to bear" Lucian spoke up and when I turned to him, his eyes were filled with anguish. " These shifters were bullied and killed. Thier shifter powers are taken by a man greedy man. How can we not be affected. ?"

" I understand " I nodded and when I turned to Tizheruk, his face was stricken with grief.

" The serpent sea god would be the most affected as he is their lord. " The mountain spoke as he continued to step on Aipaloovik.

I walked over to Tizheruk and he turned to me and said " Conri, how did you do it when you felt the minds of the many wolves in anguish as you subdued them? "

" It was hard." I nodded at him and placed a hand on his shoulder. " But It had to be done. "

" I know and understand. No one has a right to cause so many deaths. Shifter killing should be forbidden from now on. Anyone found killing shifters should be hanged and his body burnt to the ground. " Tizheruk responded.

" I agree with you " I nodded.

"It’s your time King of Wolves. You need to do the same for your shifter wolves. You need to take their powers back to the moon god" The mountain god responded. I nodded at him and moved to Aipaloovik and then he added " The moon is full tonight. The moon god is on standby as he is ready to receive the power.

Dolf rose as I pulled the power of the dead shifters and then we watched as the magic of the moon illuminated Aipaloovik and he screamed as the shifter’s powers rose and rose into the sky. The howls of the wolves plus the anguish as they lost to Aipaloovik were so gruesome that they cut through my heart and I felt all their pain.

" Madness " Everest turned around and growled.

" I can’t take this anymore " Levy stated and took a step back.

" How can someone be this cruel?" Hunter whispered.

Lucian walked towards me and put his arms around my waist. " I am here " And then he pushed the Freki powers into me and I felt my mind ease and Ranbart and Adora rose.

" Mountain god " We heard the female voice of the moon god from the ray of light that illuminated.

"Moon-god. You finally showed yourself. " The mountain god smirked.

" I am here to offer the safe passage for the shifters as summoned by the King of wolves. The safe passage that is befitting to have their powers kept well and they will be reborn as good humans" He responded as his voice boomed in the mountain.

" Thank you moon god" The mountain god responded. " You chose well. Dolf is befitting for the king of wolves. "

" As you did. Cadman and Abram will serve you well. Fate has been changed and it has surprised all of us. A loyal and protective heart won today " The moon god responded.

"Fate has been kind to us. " The moon god answered as the last of the shifter powers lifted from Aipalooviks body and then the moon god turned to me " Kind of wolves."

I bowed and everyone followed suit. " Greetings moon god."

" Rise Conri Dolf " She spoke up. " You have made me proud. As the King of Wolves your protective and kind heart made you the King of Wolves. The prophecy came to pass and the connection between you and the sea god has brought the two breeds together and I can even see the vampire are amongst you. But there is more to be done as Tabular seems to be rising at the sea bed. Aipaloovik found it and planted it on his late wife Poseidon. She was a dark serpent shifter and died a natural death but he never accepted it and evil filled his heart. You might have destroyed the pearl nest but evil still resides. Be vigilant on this last hurdle. " And with that, she was gone and the moonlight ray disappeared with her.

" Wow," Lucian whispered.

" Time to finish off Aipaloovik. Serpent sea god, Alexander, Conri, and Lucian you need to suppress the power of Abyssal and finish off Apaloovik. Cadman and Abram use the mountain power to ensure that no power seeps out as they suppress it. " The mountain god commanded.

" Let us drag these two away from you" Hunter stated and then Everest followed suit and dragged Izak and Austin away from the spot where the mountain god stood.

We all surrounded Aipaloovik and then as instructed by the moon god, Commander Abram and Uncle Cadman stood behind us, and we pushed the power into Aipaloovik suppressing the evil, and felt the human side of Abyssal stir. His wolf was still present as Conri took control of his mind and commanded his obedience. The imbalance of power made the evil magic neutralize and Aipaloovik’s evil power exploded and vanished. Then the blood of the vampires came out of his mouth as it flooded the ground and disappeared into the earth. What was left was an Abyssal body that looked frail as he struggled to stand up and his eyes blazed at us.

" This is a face that I never thought I would see" Uncle Cadman stated.

" Abyssal found me once when I was walking down the mountain. He immediately knew that I was the mountain god and then years later he was back here at Chugach prison and wanted to covet my power. The power that Cadman and Abram possess can only be earned but he never accepted this. Hence I chased him out of the mountain, hoping he would live his life and change his mind. "

" He is too greedy. He worked up Aipaloovik and used him to commit the greatest inhuman sins to the shifters" Tizheruk spoke up.

" Conri Dolf you deserve the power of the mountain. " The moon god responded.

" Thank you moon god" I bowed.

" You are the connection between all the shifters. You have earned it " The moon god responded. " My work is done here. I am going back to rest. I know that you will deal with those two as you see fit. As for Cadman and Abram, you need to come back to the mountain and cleanse it one month later." And with that, he disappeared into thin air.

Uncle Cadman turned to Abyssal and said " Do I need to drag you into the prison or you shall walk yourself? "

"I would rather die than be jailed by you" He seethed.

"Kill" Dolf rose and commanded.

I moved with speed grabbed his neck and squeezed him as I pushed Dolf’s power and took away his shifter powers. Abyssal screamed in pain as he resisted but Dolf could not be refuted and pushed for obedience and then the shifter power went out of him and Abyssal grunted in pain and went unconscious. I dumped his body on the ground and said " What a pest"

" Take him away " Uncle Cadman commanded and Commander Abram picked him up and Jersuha followed him into the Chugach prison.

My blazing eyes turned to Uncle Izak and his head was bowed next to Austin. Everest and Hunter stood behind them.

" Do you have anything to say to me?"

" No" He responded and turned his head away.

" My parent’s death was not an accident. You went after thier shifter powers hoping you would grow strong. But look at you now. Pathetic and old. "

" A mistake on my part. I was expecting you to be in the car but that fucking Zoya changed the plans last minute. It had been prophesied by an old seer of the Golden shifter pack that you would be the Alpha of the pack and all I wanted was your power but they all stood in my way"
