" You are finally here " I smirked.

" What took you so long Uncle? " Conri leaned on the pillar by the stairs entrance of the prison.

" I had other engagements " Izak Dolf’s voice sounded strained.

" I see you have aged a bit " Lucian pipped as he stared at Austin Carter.

" Have I ?" Austin smirked and then his eyes moved across the five of us.

" He reeks of old age," Commander Abram chuckled.

" Why the hell would a vermin blood-sucking vampire talk to me ?" Austin growled.

" Someone has a temper," Lucian chuckled.

" So the creepy man behind you is Aipaloovik?" Tizheruk pointed out.

" Master, ignore him. We need to get this over and done with " Izak Dolf seethed.

" Master? What a joke " I chuckled and the voice boomed and shook the mountain. I was purposely doing it to distract them and Commander Abram caught on.

" Of Course. He is no master but a fake greedy person who is muddled " Commander Abram responded and pushed his power out and merged it with the mountain. His voice echoed all over and I watched the way Izak and Austin’s eyes widened.

" What the hell? " We heard the voice from Aipoloovik speak.

" Surprise " I laughed and it was at that moment that Everest, Levy, and Lovita arrived by the north of the prison and stood behind Commander Abram.

" What did we miss ?" Lovita asked and his voice was laced with hostility

" Nothing much. Just a bunch of stinky old men that have arrived.

" I thought I missed the action " Everest laughed and Izak Dolf stepped forward looking like he was ready to attack.

" Old man, do you think that you are anyone’s match?" Conri chuckled.

" That little barrier that you have placed around all of you cannot hold me back" Aipaloovik’s voice rumbled.

" Why don’t you try to come close and see? ’’ Tizheruk taunted him.

Austin snickered and stepped forward and moved to attack and the barrier blazed as it threw him back and he landed on his knees.

"Oops," Lucian giggled. " That is something I wanted to see "

Aipaloovik floated in the air and I could feel the power of Tizheruk as he held on to the barrier he attempted to push his power and staggered back in shock.

" Impossible" His voice rambled in shock.

" Not really. Just because you harnessed the deep sea magic, what makes you think you can come here to take power that does not belong to you ?" Meglado’s voice rose.

" Did it go wrong ?" Izak stood up and they stared at each other with Austin.

" Ancient magic spear. I see that the sea god earned the spear. I am glad since I will take it away from you today, " Aipaloovik responded.

" Why the fuck are we listening to this piece of trash ?" Everest growled. " The little army you sent has been subdued. And our King of Wolves and Alpha took away the shifter powers of your little Edins and Judy. Tell me who else do you have that is loyal to you? Cyrus? Maurice? John? All of these morons are useless "

" What the hell is he talking about? " Austin turned to Izak.

" I can’t feel the connection we created. It’s like their shifter’s powers are gone. But how come they are still alive?" Izak murmured.

" Because they don’t deserve the power of the shifter wolf, ’’ Conri responded. " I gave it back to the moon gods’’

" What the fuck is he saying " Izak turned to Aipaloovik who stood floating behind them.

" Oh Uncle, did you think that Aipaloovik is immortal? The gods were lenient to his grief but he has been killing people in the name of harnessing shifter power. " Lucian stated. ’’ You have been fooled for so many years that right now you all deserve death"

"Shut the fuck up " Izak Dolf growled.

" They came for the power of the mountain. Anyone who comes to the mountain to take the power would never leave the mountain alive. I will not allow it " I spoke up and the voice echoed in the mountain and rumbled on.

" You have the power of the mountain god, " Aipaloovik pointed at me.

" I don’t, " I chuckled.

" He is fishing for information " Commander Abram’s voice boomed.

" The two of them ?" Austin Carter wondered as we watched them stare at each other in confusion.

Alexander’s voice boomed in the mind link that the mountain god created and we all listened in " The pearl nest for Aipaloovik has been destroyed. And the boats they arrived in have been taken care of, we are coming back to Chugach prison"

" Good " Tizheruk responded through the mind link.

" What about the boats and the shifters at the beach ?" Conri asked.

" All of them are gone. The serpent shifter has gone to Chugach while the wolf and vampire are back to the north of the Chugach. We are headed to intercept Yari’s mother and will update in a while." Tala responded.

" That is some good news" Commander Abram pushed the words through.

" You have the upper hand now. Aipaloovik, Izak, and Austin have arrived. I suggest you find her and drag her back here " Tizheruk responded through the mind link.

" Yes my Lord " Alexander’s words reached us.

" I sense that they are communicating together " Aipaloovik pointed out as he continued to push the evil magic barrier and the only thing we heard was the loud laughter that came from Meglado.

" Cadman, it seems that the hybrid wolf has changed your fate. I can come down the mountain. Wait for me " I heard the voice of the mountain god in my mind.

I turned to Commander Abram who stared at me in question and I spoke up. " Your loyal heart has won the battle. Someone is coming to deal with Aipaloovik."

" He is not a threat anymore, " Commander Abram nodded.

" We need to attack now " Austin stated and then he pushed his power through the barrier and Izak joined it. We all watched as Tizheruk faced them with a bored look and even laughed at their attempt.

" I already destroyed your pearl nest. " Tizheruk Taunted Aipaloovik

"What ?" His voice boomed and in seconds released a dark aura that surrounded the barrier.

" Finally Meglado yelled and moved from Tizheruk’s body and then flew around the barrier and I sensed he was strengthening the magic of the barrier. A scream was heard as Aipaloovik fell to the ground and then the whole forest went silent.

" Abyssal, you are the vermin of the world. How dare you come to covet the power of the mountain. You let Aipaloovik take over your body, an abomination to the shifter powers. Do you think that I could not see your plan ?" The voice of the mountain god could be heard and as the black magic aura cleared, the view of the mountain god in human form was visible as he stepped on the body of Aipaloovik.

" What the hell ?" Austin staggered back and Izak looked shocked.

" Hell is where you all will be locked up." The mountain god drew.

" You are no match for me " A voice rose from Aipaloovik.

The mountain god laughed and spoke to Tizheruk " Serpent sea god, thank you for your protection. You can remove the barrier. "

Tizheruk nodded and then the barrier was gone in an instant. " Come out!" He commanded Meglado and Aipaloovik yelled.

" Greetings mountain god. Allow me to neutralize the power of the serpent shifters in his body" Meglado requested.

" It would be an honor "The Mountain god spoke as Meglado pushed his power into Aipaloovik and then the most gruesome voice came through. Screams and grunts of shifters that had been killed as their powers were taken by Aipaloovik. Conri and Tizheruk stepped forward in anger and we all stood with pangs of regret and sorrow as the shifters’ pain and anguish voices filled the mountain.

" There should be no mercy to anyone who kills shifters " Everest stated.

" Agreed" I responded and even Commander Abram echoed my words.

" Fucking bastards " Lovita spoke in pain.

" We should never allow ourselves to witness such atrocity. " Levy stated.

" Death. That is what these bastards deserve. " Lucian growled.

By the time Meglado was done, we all were in a state of fury and anger.

" Calm down all of you," Conri commanded. " Your emotions are affecting the mountain"

" That is the true King of Wolves, " The mountain god nodded.

" We are back " We heard Tala’s voice from a distance as she dragged Yari’s mother, with Hunter and Jerusha hot on her heels. " I brought back this piece of shit. She tried to escape but we caught up with her.

" Jail cell" Yari’s voice boomed " She deserves to rot in prison "

" But not before I deal with her " Meglado stated as he pushed his power into her Yari’s mother screamed in pain and seconds she fell unconscious.

" Suppressing her shifter powers is a good enough punishment. Thank you ancient spear" The mountain god nodded.

Tala picked her up and dragged her to the jail and we followed her. I rushed ahead and opened the jail cell and Tala placed her on the bed. She walked out and I locked and turned to me and said " Thank you, Uncle Cadman. "

" You are the most welcome child. Now let us go back and deal with Izak and Austin. They need to join the rest of the gang, " I stated.
