" Impossible" the woman staggered back.

" Come out " Alexander commanded Yari and he appeared standing next to him.

" Old woman, what do you want? " Yari’s voice boomed.

" My son. Come with me" She beckoned.

" No," Yari responded.

" You heard him, " Uncle Cadman responded. " He said No"

" Conri, the wolves are here " Hunter spoke up.

" On my end too " Everest stated.

We all listened in as Conri subdued all the wolves. Large wailing and howls of pain could be heard across the mountain and even echoed. We watched as Yari’s mother staggered back. " The dark serpent shifters are next " I spoke up.

"Let her go. She is just but a pawn sent here to distract us and make heed and enter the Chugach prison without us noticing it. " Yari snickered.

" I will repeat, this mountain belongs to me" Uncle Cadman roared so loud that the whole mountain shook and trembled.

" Go away " Yari snickered and went back into Alexander’s body.

" Go and tell your master, he is way in over his head. There is no way that he would access the power that he came for. He better think twice. And tell Izak Dolf, I am waiting for him" Conri spoke up.

Yari’s mother turned and fled back into the forest.

" I count forty wolves" Hunter pushed the words through the mind link.

" Hunter, there are three boats by the east sea. Five guards go and destroy the boats. I am sending Alexander your way " I pushed the words through the mind link.

" Yes My lord " Alexander nodded and he was gone within minutes.

" Uncle Cadman, what is the situation by the campsite?" I asked.

" No movement. The three masters are just waiting. Let us hope that Yari gets there fast and delivers the news" Uncle Cadman responded.

" Do you feel that there is something that we are missing? They came prepared. Someone must have leaked the information about the mountain’s power. " Lucian pointed out.

" Cyrus must have leaked out the information and now they must be waiting for the scouts they sent to find the entrance to the placement for the mountain god. All these are distractions and the real purpose is for them to get the power. " Conri spoke up.

" No one has approached the prison as yet. ’’ Uncle Cadman assured us. " But I feel them trying to connect with someone in the prison "

" Better to take them out, " Conri nodded as he turned around and walked into the prison. I followed him as we came to the jail cell that Judy was in. Uncle Cadman opened the door and Conri walked in as Judy staggered back. He never wasted time as he took away her shifter powers. She fell on the ground in shock as COnri turned back and Uncle Cadman closed the jail cell door.

" We need to deal with Cyrus too," Lucian stated.

" Come on. He is in confinement. " Unce Cadman announced as we followed him to the jail cell that had a steel door. He opened the door and at the corner of the room sat Cyrus looking smug.

" You finally came " He stood up and turned around only to be shocked by the fact Conri and I walked in after Uncle Cadman.

" Surprise " Conri spoke up and never gave him a chance to speak as he pushed his power and took away the shifter powers of Cyrus as he sent them back to the moon god. Uncle Cyrus’ jaw dropped and he staggered back as he held on to the wall.

" Oh Cryus, you chose the wrong side. ’’ Lucian taunted him from the door. " The king of wolves took away your shifter powers because you don’t deserve them. You will remain a human for the rest of your life"

We all walked out of the confinement cell and the screams that came from it were so loud and gruesome. After a while, they were reduced to tears and then all went silent.

" Show no mercy to anyone who threatens the pack " Lucian asserted as we walked out of the prison. Uncle Cadman pushed his power to check on the mountain and then we all sensed it. Izak Dolf and Austin Carter were making their way up the mountain.

" What a surprise " Commander Abram chuckled.

" Where is that sleazy bastard Aipaloovik?" Commander Abram demanded.

" I can’t sense him anymore " Uncle Cadman cursed out.

" I can. He is hiding in the forest and making his way behind them. He is pushed by the serpent shifter’s powers to take over so that the mountain can sense his shifter wolf powers. He is also using the vampire powers of speed to move up the mountain. It seems that Yari did not need to arrive at the camp but sent the words through the connection between her and Aipaloovik. " I spoke up.

" Once they arrive let us know so that we can make way " Everest stated, pushing the words through the mind link.

" How is it going on your end, Hunter?" Lovita asked.

" We are almost there, " Jerusha responded.

" Good. Everest, how about you circle the mountain to ensure we don’t have any other surprises" Conri asked.

" As you command Alpha" Everest responded.

" I can’t sit still. ’’ Lucian anxiously whispered and I rubbed his back affectionately. " How about we taunt them ?"

" That sounds like a plan. " Uncle Cadman stated. " Commander Abram, you are up. You better show them what you have learned"

" You are such a nuisance old man" Commander Abram growled but he complied and stepped forward. He closed his eyes and then pushed his power out and we all felt it. He then burst out in laughter and smirked: " Two old wolves, loitering in my mountain as they hide the scum of the earth, you don’t value your lives do you?" The mountain vibrated from his words and we felt the wind pick up and the trees swayed. We felt Commander Abram’s wolf merge with the mountain and I was surprised by his power.

" What the fuck happened when we were away ?" Lucian whispered.

" Why does mountain power feel so familiar? " Conri spoke up.

" I feel it too, ’’ I responded. " Too familiar. Even though the mountain god saved me, I can’t explain why I feel close to it "

" It’s the power of the mind link " Uncle Cadman supplied.

" Do you think we are fools ?" We all heard the voice of Izak Dolf.

" Izak Dolf, the man filled with greed. Killed his brother and took his shifter power. We all know about you " Commander Abram’s voice boomed like thunder and the mountain shook.

" I would not want to be his enemy, " Lucian whispered. " I wish Aspen was here to witness how great you have become"

" Mhhh" Commander Abram responded.

" Aipaloovik had stalled. He is holding back " I whispered to Commander Abram.

" I am surprised that you are holding back yet you came to the mountain. Should I call you Abyssal or Aipaloovik?" Commander Abram continued to taunt him. His voice vibrated through the mountain and we heard Jerusha chuckle through the mind link.

" If I did not know it well, I would say you trained him " Conri winked at me.

" He is doing so well, I don’t need to take him to any class. ’’ I responded and Lucian chuckled.

" Initially I thought that you would be so tense and go crazy from worry but seeing you laugh and tease each other makes my mind at ease. ’’ Uncle Cadman spoke up.

" How did Commander Abram acquire the power of the mountain?" Lucian turned and asked Uncle Cadman.

" I pushed it to him. He is loyal and his heart is pure when it comes to protecting his family. He deserves it, " Uncle Cadman stated.

" I was not his first choice but I will make do " Commander Abram pushed the words through our mind links.

" Yari’s mum is rushing to the east of the mountain. She must have sensed that her son was headed that way. I wonder what she wants " Uncle Cadman pushed the words through the mind link.

" He does not belong to her, " I emphasized. " She is delusional. Yari is a free dark serpent shifter and has the right to choose his host. "

In a matter of seconds, a black cloaked figure appeared and his face was covered in smoke on the sleeve of his hands, were large claws and his body floated as if he did not have feet.

" Are you all seeing this? " Lucian demanded in fury and my shifter serpent rose and pushed the power of protection around all of us as the evil power of Aipaloovik was corroding the area while we all listened to the maniacal laughter that came from Aipaloovik.
