The moon illuminated the sea and it paved the way for our ride back to Chugach. Conri and Lucian were on my back while Alexander rode alongside. Megladon illuminated the waves and created a golden path and I used my magic power to enhance the speed of the ride. I had created a sea burble that made Conri and Lucian able to breathe underwater as we moved toward Chugach.

" There is something wrong with the water along the north of the Chugach " I pushed the words through to Alexander.

"My Lord, isn’t that the location of the pearl farm? Let me go and check it, " Alexander responded.

" No. We can’t be separated" I commanded him. " We stay together "

" Yes, my Lord. We shall check it out later on, " I urged him.

" Why does Dolf sense that you were worried? " Conri said.

" Freki can feel it too," Lucian stated.

" The northern waters have a strange sense of power. " I pushed the words through to Lucian and Conri ’’ Alexander wanted to go and check it out but I was against it. We need to remain together until we reach Chugach. I don’t want any mishaps to happen. "

" That is a good idea. I agree with you on that, " Conri responded.

" It seems that old man Cyrus has something going on at the pearl farm. How do we deal with him? " Lucian seethed.

" Uncle Cadman will deal with him," Conri responded.

" There are three large ships docked on the eastern border of Mount Chugach. I have just sensed their presence and used the sea creatures to check and report. About one hundred shifters got off the boat and five have remained behind on guard" Meglado’s voice boomed ahead of us.

" Shit" Conri cursed. " They already arrived. "

" Yes," Yari’s voice rose. " I can sense Aipaloovik is amongst them. "

" I know the pack is prepared for them but I still feel uneasy," Conri responded.

"Dolf is the most worried " I pushed the words through.

" My Lord, I suggest we go to the West of Chugach. It will be easy and faster to get to the mountain without being noticed. " Alexander advised.

"Great" I responded and we picked up speed and landed in the west of the Chugach mountain by the beach and shifted immediately once Lucian and Conri got off my back.

" Now that we are on land, it’s time for us to carry you" Lucian arrogantly teased Alexander.

" Come on, no wasting time " Conri shifted and stood tall next to us. I hopped onto his back and Lucian did the same and Alexander hoped on. We took off to the woods and stealthily moved as I covered the tracks Lucian and Conri left with my powers. We arrived at the Chugach prison and found Uncle Cadman and Commander Abram standing guard. They did not seem surprised to spot us and Commander Abram walked down the steps and approached us. Alexander and I got off their back and Lucian and Conri shifted back into human form.

" Uncle Cadman, it’s good to see you " Lucian walked over and embraced him.

" You are late, " Uncle Cadman teased Lucian.

" We are right on time " Conri chuckled as he approached Commander Abram.

Alexander and I stood at the sidelines and watched the woods as we listened in.

" Now that everyone is here, I suggest we remain connected " Uncle Cadman spoke up.

" What do you mean?" Alexander asked.

"I need to establish the connection as per the instruction of the mountain god," Uncle Cadman explained.

" How long do we have before they arrive ?" Commander Abram interjected.

" Half an hour. ’’ Uncle Cadman responded. " We don’t have much time "

" Bring them to me " A voice rose behind the mountain.

" What the fuck was that ?" Alexander’s eyes widened.

" Come on, someone wants to meet you " Uncle Cadman beckoned us to follow him. We walked to the forest and arrived at a cave that was hidden. Uncle Cadman used his wolf power and the rock moved aside allowing us entry. We walked into the cave and came into a place surrounded by a magic pond filled with water. I could sense the magic powers surrounding us and Alexander’s eyes widened as the water formed into a human man and stood by the end of the pond

" Mountain god, I have fulfilled my promise. ’’ Uncle Cadman bowed and Commander Abram followed suit.

" Serpent sea god, King of Wolves, Freki Immortal, and General Alexander, you just arrived on time" The man spoke. " Time is not on our side. Aipaloovik already took form and he is headed here for my powers. He knows that once he controls the mountain he will have all the power that he needs to control shifters. Hence he is coming here for this"

" What do you need ?" I asked.

" The only way to defeat them is to have all of us connected. King of wolves you are connected to the members of your pack and this will make it easy. And even so, the connection you have with the serpent sea god" He responded.

" You are the one who saved me years ago. You brought me up the mountain as I swarmed up the river and Conri found me. " I spoke directly to him.

" Yes. I heard your cries in the sea and brought you up the mountain " He nodded.

" Thank you " I bowed to him and Alexander followed suit.

" From one god to another, we don’t need such formalities" The mountain god responded.

" Proceed with the mind link" Conri spoke.

It took two minutes and we were all connected. I sensed everyone’s wolf and beast.

" Wow," Lucian said.

" Keep them safe. You need to protect their mind links and ensure this connection remains intact " Mountain god spoke directly to Lucian.

" I will, " He nodded.

" Now go and Cadman, make sure no one finds the entrance to the cave if you value your life " He spoke and then went back into the pond. We left the cave hurriedly and went back to the entrance of the prison.

" How is everyone holding up?" Conri pushed the words through the mind link.

" I can’t get used to this. ’’ Tala was the first one to speak.

" I sense Mangy wolves all over, " Hunter responded.

" So do I. ’’ Everest responded. " It seems that the army plans to surround the mountain."

" The easiest way to subdue the many wolves is mind control. Give me the heads up once they close it to you" Conri spoke up.

" Yes, Alpha " The response was so loud in our mind that we all winced.

" What about the other group?" I asked.

" Camped at the east of the mountain. They seem to be waiting for something" Uncle Cadman said.

" They are waiting for words from someone, " Conri nodded.

" Could it be the guys locked up there ?" Commander Abram spoke up.

" It seems so. It will buy us more time as they try to make the connection. The power of the mountain will block any connection to them. Hence they will get desperate soon" I spoke up.

" What about the KODA council and the pack office?" Conri asked.

" All is well " Hunter and Everest responded.

" And the pearl farm?" Lucian asked.

" We sent word to Aurora, she has closed it off with her power. " Hunter affirmed.

" There is something more there. My Lord, now that you are here, my suggestion still stands. We need to check out what is going on, " Alexander insisted.

"I suspect that is what they planned before. Stir trouble and make us rush to the pearl farm. This would leave Chugach unattended. " Lucian responded.

" Exactly." Uncle Cadman stated. " " We stay together until they come. I can assure you that they will be here. "

" Greed can blind even a master and make them foolish. " Commander Abram spoke up.

" Stay alert, there is movement inside the prison " The mountain god’s voice rose.

Commander Abram and Uncle Cadman rushed inside the prison while I felt my mind stir as my beast rose on high alert. " We have company "I spoke up and Conri nodded.

" I sense him too, " Lucian stated.

" Smells familiar " Yari Spear’s voice came out.

" Dark serpent shifter " Meglado’s voice rose.

We all stood in waiting and in a matter of a few minutes, a woman appeared by the gate of Chugach prison. She walked slowly towards us and stood a few meters away. Her eyes blazed as they darted around us and they landed on me. She took a step back and then her eyes moved to Alexander and she seethed " Come out Yari, I am here for you"

" No one has a right to Yari. He belongs to me. " Alexander spoke calmly but there was so much defense laced in his voice.

" I gave birth to him. I am his mother. " The woman raised her chin and announced.

" It’s a distraction, " Meglado stated.

" I sense the other two. They are coming in numbers. They divided themselves. The mangy wolves are in the forest while the dark serpent shifters come to the prison. I wonder where the vampires are ?" Jerusha growled.

" Right here" Commander Abram walked out of the prison and threw the bodies of five men on the ground. "

" This is my mountain, no one can escape from me as long as they step foot in it and even more sore with evil intention" Uncle Cadman’s voice boomed around us as he stepped out of the prison.
