" I feel out of place for the first time since I came to Sikta " Elder Zaya growled at us and we all turned to her sheepishly and she muttered again " Come on Haida, men will always be men. Let them be, I want to enjoy meeting my grandchildren. "

They left the living room with Mrs. Hemming and Haida while we remained behind with our guilt.

" Wow, is everything always this intense. ?" Meglado asked.

" Not really " Lucian rubbed the back of his head and he pulled Tizheruk and me to the couch. He raised his hand to politely ask Asheral to join us.

" I will remain standing " Meglado jokes and Asheral’s brows furrowed as snickered at him Meglado seemed unperturbed by her and continued to glow.

" You have been together for a long time, I presume.

" Yes we have, " Meglado huffed. " Way too long. "

" You are a dark serpent shifter right?" Lucian asked Asheral.

" Yes. I am. Don’t tell me you think dark serpent shifters are bad?" She laughed and she seemed not offended by Lucian.

" Forgive me but the tales we have heard indicate that dark serpent shifters are not normal shifter creatures"

" You are wrong, " Meglado interjected. " Dark serpent shifters have existed for centuries. They were entrusted by the sea gods to guard the Meglado spear. Asheral has been with me for so long before My Lord was born. Until a sea god is worthy of the spear, only then will the dark serpent shifters present it to the serpent sea god"

"Wow," Lucian whispered.

" Dark serpent shifters were born when a serpent lost his wife during birth and his son could not breathe. He offered his serpent to his son using magic, it merged with his son’s little serpent and saved his life. He died with the love of his wife and son. The gods allowed it and the Mother Sea supported it. Why would anyone think that our community of dark serpent shifters is bad ?" Asheral raised an eyebrow.

" Asheral Coral is the mother of Elder Kama of the Sikta council. She came to find me after mother sea alerted her of my presence." Tizheruk added.

" I know what you are concerned about. The dark serpent shifter causes trouble for the shifters right? " Asheral asked.

" Yes," Lucian and I responded.

" I had a conversation with Meglado an hour ago. He thinks we need to get the Yari spear from Tochigi" Tizheruk spoke up.

" The same spear that Isamu stabbed you with " I demanded.

" The the same" Tizheruk nodded.

" Why? " Lucian asked with piqued interest.

" We need all the weapons that can put this dark shifter down. The Yari spear is one of them" Meglado stated.

" What else can kill this bastard?" I asked.

" No" Tizheruk stated as he tried to summon Meglado back to his hand but the words were already out " Freki blood"

I remain mute mulling over the words that Tizheruk tried to suppress Meglado from uttering while Lucian’s mouth shut closed.

" That loud mouth " Asheral cursed Meglado while Tizheruk huffed.

" What does he mean by Freki blood?" I asked with so much calmness that I surprised myself.

" It’s nonsense " Asheral dismissed the thought. " We need to get the spear. Yari is an ancient weapon that can kill serpents. "

" Tizheruk" I growled.

Tizheruk closed his eyes for a few minutes and then spoke up " Meglado stated that Freki blood could kill the dark serpent shifters. "

" A myth my Lord. We all know that a Freki wolf has never been born in this lifetime. So that is just a myth" Asheral sounded reassuring.

Lucian burst out laughing and Asheral seemed surprised at his attitude. When he calmed down, I was raging mad while Tizheruk looked embarrassed.

" Do you mean to tell me there is a Freki wolf born in this lifetime?" Asheral stood up in fear.

" You are looking right at him," Lucian answered and pointed at himself.

" What ?" Asheral whispered.

" I am Lucian Freki," Lucian announced.

Asheral rushed before Lucian, went down on her knees, and bowed. " Greetings oh great one. Asheral Coral greets you Lucian Freki. "

" What do you mean ?" Tizheruk stood up.

" He is immortal my lord " Asheral spoke and refused to raise her head.

And that is how Alexander and Charry found Asheral. On her knees, Lucian stared down at her in amusement.

" My Lord " Both Charry and Alexander spoke up to Tizheruk in question

Lucian stood up placed his hand on her shoulders and pulled Asheral up on her feet.

" Calm down Asheral, I am just a normal shifter wolf" Lucian tried to explain.

" No, you are not. You are the reincarnation of Odin’s wolf Freki. " Asheral announced.

" What the hell ?" Alexander whispered.

" Let me just inform her before she collapses. This is Conri Dolf. The Alpha of the Golden shifter pack and the King of wolves"

Her eyes landed on me and she stepped forward, went down on her knees, and bowed "Greetings King of Wolves. Your wolf Dolf is the son of the sea god and Freki’s daughter. You are the reincarnation of their love. Befitting as the King of wolves"

" What are we witnessing ?" Cherry whispered to Alexander.

" I am trying to process all the information right now"

I stood up and pushed Asheral back to her feet and she burst out crying.

I was at a loss when Meglado’s voice rose from Tizheruk " Permission to speak my Lord."

" You caused this mess. Clarify " Tizheruk growled as he stretched his hand and Meglado glowed and appeared floating next to him.

"Calm down and have a sit Asheral" Meglado scolded her.

She sniffed and walked over to sit and we all followed suit.

" Ashela coral is five hundred years old. Her family are the guardians of the serpent sea god Spear and hence they have served the gods for generations. He is emotional because she has first-hand information for generations about the gods. "

" It’s good to clarify all the information, King of Wolves. The first serpent sea god fell in love with Dolf the daughter of Freki. Odin was outraged but Freki accepted the relationship. The first seawolf was born out of that love. The connection between every reincarnation of a sea god and a king of wolves is inevitable. They were bonded to keep the sea-land shifters safe. " Asheral explained.

" So that explains my connection with Tizheruk. I thought it was a myth of being cursed by Freki" I responded.

" it was not a curse, but a demand promise. That both the sea god and king of wolves would protect the shifters. A promise made by a blood oath that was to be fulfilled in every lineage. " Asheral started. ’’ Looking at the two of you, I can see the bond was already formed. If I am not wrong you saved his life and he saved yours. This has been going on for a while right?"

" Yes," Tizheruk and I responded.

She turned to Lucian and her eyes were filled with fear. " Your blood can kill us. "

" I am not very fond of my blood anymore, " Lucian grunted.

" Why do I smell Omega genes in him?" Meglado spoke out in wonder.

" Because my mate has omega genes " I spoke up proudly and Lucian slapped my hand in embarrassment.

" Why are you laughing like a maniac?" Meglado asked.

" The gods are too much. " She shook her head. " King of wolves united with Freki omega? You would only give birth to a god"

" That is true, " Charry nodded.

" What if there are more than one pup?" Alexander asked.

" There will be more than one pup, " Tizheruk stated.

" Shut your mouth "I scolded Tizheruk who burst out laughing.

" Summon your speech back in your body. You are well matched" I napped at Tizheruk who continued to laugh as he summoned Meglado back into his arms and leaned back on the couch.

" You said, I always render you speechless yet you have been scolding me since you came "Tizheruk’s eyes twinkled and he winked at me.

" I bet you have not told Haida as yet" I winked back and all the blood drained from Tizheruk’s face and his eyes blazed at me.

" Calm down both of you," Lucian stated.

" We are calm" I responded and Tizheruk snickered and looked away.

" The spear is in Tochigi, right? We just need to call Isamu, " I stated.

" A surprise visit would be best " Tizheruk stated.

" My Lord, the shifter prince and princess are too young to be left alone. I suggest you send me to Tochigi with the King of Wolves and Lucian Freki. "

" Agreed ’’ We all piped except for Tizheruk who gritted his teeth in frustration.
