The sound of a baby wailing woke me up. I had fucking fallen asleep and my eyes snapped open. The first view that came was of Haida breastfeeding a baby while the other child was wailing from the top of her lungs.

I stared at Haida grinning like a fool and picked up the other baby.

" He is the little prince," Haida whispered.

He went quiet for a minute as his green eyes looked at me in wonder.

"Aegir Bering" I stated. " Aegir after my father. You will be a great sea god. "

" Aegir Bering" Haida nodded and I watched her hand move to Aegir and pat his forehead. " What about her? "

" Adva Bering" She will take up your second name.

Haida burst out laughing and it shocked the babies and the one suckling on her breast stopped and stared up at Haida.

" You just scared Adva," I laughed.

" Oh, Bering. I feel blessed today. The babies have shifted" Haida wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.

There was a knock on the bedroom door and Asheral stood at the entrance with a tray in her hand. There were two cups of coffee, and I could smell bacon, eggs, and sausages.

" My Lord and My Lady, you are awake. I brought you breakfast." Asheral stated.

" Come in, " Haida responded.

Asheral walked in and placed the tray by the bedside.

" My Lord, go take a shower, I will take the little prince. Did you give them names? " Asheral asked as I handed her the baby.

" Aegir and Adva Bering. " Haida smiled.

" I will leave you to it " I nodded at them and walked to the bathroom.

I stood in the shower as happiness radiated off me. I thanked the sea gods for giving me Haida and my family. When I got out of the shower, I headed to the dressing room and sat there for a while resting my mind. I was deep in thought thinking about how Haida and Meglado were able to hear my conversation with Dolf.

" That is because of the magic of the spear" Meglado’s voice rose.

" Good. Aegir and Adva Bering are with their mother Haida " I bragged and heard Conri chuckle.

" Good. I was checking in " I listened to the worry in his voice.

" In two hours, I will give you a call. I have news for you" I stated.

" Don’t bother, I am already in Sitka at the villa. Hurry up" Conri closed his mind and I burst out laughing at how commanding he sounded.

I dressed up hurriedly and by the time I returned to the bedroom, Haida was nowhere to be seen. The bed had been made and I assumed Asheral had taken care of everything. I walked to the living room and the babies were in the baby cots sleeping soundly, while Haida was sipping a glass of milk.

" Bering," She smiled.

" I am sorry I took too long " I walked over and pressed a kiss on her forehead.

" It’s fine. I was asking Asheral how to get the babies back in the villa, " Haida smiled.

" Permission to speak sir " Meglado’s voice rose between us.

" No," Asheral stated. " You better not open your mouth and sprout nonsense"

" Granted, " I said and Asheral groaned as she sat in the corner of the room with her mouth pulled into a thin line of displeasure.

" I will create a bubble for the babies. A protective barrier while the two of you swim alongside them and get to the sea entrance of the villa. " Meglado suggested.

Asheral seemed surprised at his suggestion and then spoke up " It seems that being around the sea god has made you sensible. I agree with that idea"

" How soon can we leave ?" Haida demanded.

" After you finish your meal " I spoke up and Haida clapped and then hurriedly finished her meal.

We left the sea an hour later after Meglado’s magic bubble carried the babies and we swam after him, in our shifter forms. I got to the entrance of the villa, shifted, and pulled Haida. I watched as Asheral did the same and made a mental note to ask her how she was able to. When the bubbles surfaced the babies were still asleep as Haida carried one and Asheral the other. Delgado went back into my arms as we walked up to the villa. Upon opening the back door, we found Elder Zaya and Mrs hemming by the living room.

The booth beams as Haida and Asheral walk in carrying the babies. When I turned to the window, Conri Dolf and Lucian Freki had smiles on their faces as I walked over and Conri pulled me in for a hug. " Congratulations are in order. "

" Thank you " I laughed.

" I am proud of you " Lucian whispered in my ear as his body shook in laughter.

" Thank you, Lucian," I nodded.

" We rushed over and could not wait, " Conri smirked.

" I am so glad you are here " I nodded and watched as Asheral and Haida handed the babies to Mrs. Hemming and Elder Zaya.

"Why do I feel another powerful being around us?" Conri demanded as he stared at me.

" Come out " I commanded Meglado.

They all watched as I stretched my hand and a golden light glowed before moving from my hand and then Meglado hanging in the air in its superb form.

" This is Meglado, the sea god’s spear. That is Asheral Coral. " I pointed at Asheral." She brought the spear to me. Asheral is a dark serpent shifter. They are the guardians of the serpent sea gods’ spear.

" It’s a pleasure to meet you all" Asheral smiled.

" I must have heard wrong but did you just say she is a dark serpent shifter?"Lucian demanded.
