ISAMU’S POV

I paced up and down the living room waiting for news from Chugach. My whole body was anxious, hoping that whatever I felt was untrue. Already Sayuri was in tears as Zineb offered comfort while Lobo stood by the window staring out of the house as the snow fell hard. A storm was rising and the sound of the wind was so loud that It irritated me.

" How long till they give you an update?" I demanded and turned to Zineb.

" I know you are frustrated but there is no need to raise your voice at me," I said.

" Calm down" Lobo spoke to Zineb and we all heard Sayuri sniffing.

"I am tired of waiting " Isamu stated and at that instant, Zineb’s phone rang loudly. She connected the call and put it on speakerphone.

" Madam, I have bad news. " A male voice came through the phone.

" What is it ?" Zineb demanded.

" So it was you that sent him to spy on us" A deep voice boomed over the phone and it made Lobo’s eyes widen Zineb handshake and Sayuri took the phone.

" Who is this ?" Sayuri demanded.

" Lovita Aria" He identified himself.

" Bastard brother?" Lobo snickered

" That is right, " Lovita responded.

" You sold yourself to Conri Dolf " Lobo walked close to the phone and spoke.

" I did. What is it to you? " Lovita’s laughter came through.

" You fucking mutt" Zineb finally found her voice.

" I am. I just snapped the neck of your traitor. And I will find the next one that you plant amongst us" He vowed.

" Why are we talking to this piece of shit ?" I growled.

" Because you are all waiting to hear news about your vampire seer called Kaka. or was he a hybrid? His body is deep in the ocean rotting as we speak while Tabular was diminished by Adora." Lovita’s voice was laced with sarcasm.

Sayuri disconnected the call and threw the phone to the wall.

" I knew it. He knew that it was a dangerous mission and he went ahead and fucking went to Chugach. " Sayuri screamed and Lobo pulled her close and hugged her.

" What the hell did that mutt say? " Zineb shook her head in disbelief.

" We lost Tabular and Kaka" I whispered.

" And now Lovita has joined them, ’’ Zineb cursed. " Isamu, we need to go to Chugach and destroy all of them. How dare they think they can win against us? "

" Calm down " I pulled Zineb close and hugged her

" What do we do ?" Sayuri whispered. "Ma will have a fit if she finds out"

" I would rather keep this low for now. I don’t want to cause a stir among the Yakuza members. " I stated.

Sayuri pushed Lobo away and left the living room.

" Go after her, " Zineb urged Lobo.

" I know what to do sister" Lobo responded as he left the living room and Zineb and I were left alone.

" Isamu, did Lobo and Sayuri know more than they are letting on?" Zineb asked.

" I suspect Sayuri might have more information than she let on. " I whispered. " She is very close to Kaka and he was the one who helped her harness her powers. He also was the one behind the relationship between her and Lobo. "

" Hence she knew what Kaka was going to do was impossible" Zineb nodded.

"But how could Kaka lose Tabular?"

" There is something that is not clear about this. Let Sayuri calm down and then we shall question her and get all the details. "

Zineb nodded and then spoke up " That was the last of my men. And if Lovita found him, he would question him and get all the details about what I had instructed him to do"

" Forget about it. There is nothing you can do. Let us now forge forward. I have two more men in Chugach. Let me get in touch with them and you can rest your worries"

" Thank you Isamu" Zineb pulled my head down and pressed our lips together. I chose to deepen the kiss and she moaned with pleasure. Her hand went around me, I pushed her on the couch and we kissed for a long time and when we came up for air, Zineb had tears in her eyes.

" What is love?" I whispered and kissed each eye.

" Is the revenge worth it, Isamu? We have lost so much that I no longer want to be part of it, " Zineb pleaded.

" That is why I chose to settle down and let Sayuri and Elder Amaya run the Yakuza for a while. I needed us to take a breather and not forget our human nature. I know that I have done so much in the years but since I met you, I have questioned if power is more important than family" I confessed.

" I love you so much Isamu" Zineb pulled me down for a kiss and I used my vampire powers to lift us and we moved with vamp speed to the bedroom, I closed the door, stripped us naked and we landed on the bed.

I ended the kiss and said " I love you too Zineb " Then pushed her neck aside, latched my teeth on her, and then pushed her legs apart and my cock impaled her as she moaned out loud and held on for the ride.

Early the next day, the banging on our bedroom door woke us up and Zineb slipped out of bed, pulled a kimono on, and then walked to the door and yanked it open.

" What is it? She growled.

" Elder Amaya demands to see Isamu" The maid bowed and spoke up.

" Demands" I snickered. " Tell her to wait "

Zineb banged the door and she walked back to the bed and rubbed herself on me.

" What does she want?" I whispered.

" She must have heard the news about Kaka. That is what would make her arrogant and demanding" I huffed.

" Come on Leader Isamu, it’s time to take the Yakuza back and let her know that she can’t make demands regardless of the situation "Zineb’s eyes glowed and her voice rose in a domineering matter"

" So hot, " I said and kissed her cheek.

An hour later, we arrived in the living room and found Elder Amaya, Elder Kanji, and Kaka waiting for us.

" To what do we owe this honor of interrupting our sleep?" Zineb spoke up and she sounded pissed as she sat down majestically while I stood behind her.

" Isamu, do you think the bond between my brother and I is a joke to you ?" She yelled.

" Calm down and lower your voice. Isamu is still the Yakuza leader" Zineb stood up and growled.

" Kaka is dead! " She screamed out loud.

" My sincere condolences to you Elder Amaya. I would like you to calm down so that we can tell you what happened" I calmly spoke.

Her eyes blazed and she huffed in pain and anger.

"Calm down Mother" Sayuri’s voice rose from the door and next to her was Lobo holding her hand.

"How ?" She heaved.

" Uncle Kaka knew that he might fail. He took the Tabular Crystal to the pearl farm and wanted to plant it. But he was way over his head. I have no idea what happened and It would be best if we wait for the Isamu to find out from Chugach as to what happened" Sayuri calmly walked over to her Elder Amaya and patted her back.

The sobs from Elder Amaya were painful as Sayuri pulled her along and sat down with her on the couch while Lobo walked over to stand next to me.

" Sayuri, why do I feel that you are holding back information ?" Zineb demanded.

" I am. " She snapped.

" What ?" Elder Amaya responded through her sobs.

" Uncle Kaka informed me that Tabular was dying. To save his life he impaled the crystal to his core. It was slowly eating him up and the only way to save himself and his life was to plant Tabular in the pearl farm. Either way, he was not sure that he would survive if he pushed Tabular out of him. It was a death mission all through" Sayuri stated.

" What? Why did you allow him ?" Elder Amaya sobbed.

" How could I stop him ?" Sayuri asked.

" He knew what he was doing. We are in the dark and do not have anyone to tell us what happened " Lobo spoke up.

" I have sent someone to Chugach to find out what happened. We should have feedback within twenty-four hours" I explained.

" Thank you, Isamu" Sayuri responded.

" That said and done, I would like to convene a meeting with all the Yakuza elders. It is time to get back to work. We need a plan of action on Kaka’s death " my voice boomed.

I saw the way Elder Kanji’s eyes widened and Kaka looked displeased.

" Don’t tell me you never expected that Isamu would ever let you run the Yakuza? He is not dead or disabled. " Zineb snapped at them.

" Sayuri. I am asking you to send a word to the Yakuza members. Have them convene at the hall tomorrow evening. I have news, directives, and instructions for them. It’s time that the world realized the power of the Yakuza " I asserted.
