LOVITA ARIA’S POV

" Before you leave, I have something to discuss with you " Old man Cyrus whispered to me at the hospital after the doctors did all the tests and we sat in waiting for the results.

" What is it? " I whispered back as he looked so suspicious.

" One of the enforcers who came seemed fishy. I suspect he is the mole" Old Man Cyrus pointed out.

" Which one?" My eyes blazed.

" The one with a scar on his hand," Old man Cryus pointed out.

" I saw him. He had a blue enforcer suit on. I will track him down, don’t worry" I patted his arm in assurance.

Once we dropped him at home, Toten drove the car to the apartment where we now lived with him and Tharn. On arrival, Than demanded for us to give him all the details of what had transpired in the pearl farm as we sat down to have dinner.

" What? Tizheruk brought Grandpa back to life " Tharn was so shocked that he almost choked on his food.

" And shifted midair into a large serpent and dived into the water," Toten added.

" It was a sight to behold. He is truly the serpent sea god" I nodded.

" You said that the enforcer has a scar on his hand?" Toten asked with piqued interest.

" I know this enforcer. I saw him at the Golden Shifter pack offices. Since he will be coming to the office from the pearl farm. He will find a way to sneak and update either Lobo or Zineb" Tharn pointed out.

" That is what we are betting on. " Toten responded.

" We have work to do tomorrow. Let us get to bed. I am tired and I miss you so much" I stood up and pulled Tharn and Toten towards the bedroom. An hour later, we had showered and cuddled in bed as I listened to the sound of their slow breathing and then closed my eyes and followed suit.

It was afternoon the next day when we made a breakthrough after laying low, watching the enforcer, and waiting for him to make a move. He left the office and Hunter and I followed him. He arrived at one of the pubs at the pier and then looked around to see if he was followed. After ten minutes, he took out his phone and then made a call.

" Madam, I have bad news. " The enforcer whispered and I walked over and grabbed the phone. The enforcer’s eyes widened with the realization that he had been caught.

" So it was you that sent him to spy on us" I drawled.

" Who is this ?" A woman’s voice came through the phone.

" Lovita Aria" I responded smugly as Hunter pushed the enforcer down on his knees and held him.

" Bastard brother?" I heard a voice come through the other and I knew it was Lobo Aria.

" That is right, " I responded.

" You sold yourself to Conri Dolf " Lobo walked close to the phone and spoke.

" I did. What is it to you? " I chuckled.

" You fucking mutt" I heard a female voice come through.

" I am. I just snapped the neck of your traitor. And I will find the next one that you plant amongst us" I asserted.

" Why are we talking to this piece of shit ?" I heard another voice.

" Because you are all waiting to hear news about your vampire seer called Kaka. or was he a hybrid? His body is deep in the ocean rotting as we speak while Tabular was diminished by Adora." I responded sarcastically.

The phone disconnected and I turned to the enforcer who was on his knees " As the beta of the pack, I can snap your neck and Alpha Conri will support me"

" She threatened to kill my family " The enforcer defended himself. " I had no choice in the matter and I complied with her demands."

" Yet you should have come to Conri and he would have helped you. But you chose to be rogue and feed them with information. " Hunter snickered.

" Let us take him back to the pack offices where he will face the music" I asserted.

Hunter picked him up and locked him with Iron cuffs laced with magic that subdued his wolf. We drove back to the pack offices and found Tharn pacing up and down at the entrance. When I alighted from the car and demanded " What are you doing here?"

Tharn pointed at the enforcer" He better not lie. He has no family and is loyal to Lobo and Zineb Aria"

" I knew it " Hunter dragged him to the pack offices as I laced my hand with Tharn and we walked into the pack office. Alpha Conri and Lucian stood outside the Alpha’s office and I stepped towards them.

" You found him," Conri spoke up.

" Yes, Alpha Conri. It was Tharn that identified him" I explained.

" Alpha Conri, I know this enforcer. He is loyal to Lobo Aria and has no family. He is very good at lying" Tharn said.

" Well, I say we should chop his head off and throw it to the wolves," Lucian drawled.

" Lobo Aria is coming for all of you " The enforcer yelled and I snapped his neck and the enforcer fell dead.

" No need to keep this piece of dirt around us" I asserted.

" Good riddance, " Hunter added as the enforcers rushed to drag his body out of our sight.

" It seems I don’t have to worry about all of you. You have everything under control" Conri chuckled.

" Alpha Conri, I spoke to Lobo Aria," I reported.

" What ?" Lucian looked furious.

"Calm down " Hunter stated

" The enforcer was the one who had the phone. He called Zineb and I took the phone. Lobo Aria and Zineb were at the end of the line. He is not finished with his revenge and will come for us" I stated.

" Should we go back to Tochigi?" Lucian demanded.

" No one is going anywhere. Lucian and I are leaving for Sitka in an hour. I will leave the pack in your hands" Conri spoke to me.

" Noted Alpha Conri," I responded and watched the way Lucian watched Tharn.

" What is it ?" Conri asked Lucian.

" Can we have a chat with the two of you?" Lucian spoke to me.

" Yes" I nodded and watched the way Conri stared at Lucian and then he nodded.

We walked to Alpha Conri’s office and once the door closed Lucian spoke up" Do you know what your mate is?"

" What do you mean?" I turned to Tharn with a surprised look. Tharn moved and stood beside me looking at Lucian in shock.

" Conri, I am the only one who feels it ?" Lucian asked Conri as he walked over and stood towering over him.

" No lil pup. It seems that being mated to Lovita and Toten brought it out " Conri nodded.

" What are you talking about? " Tharn stepped forward, looking afraid.

" Your mate is an Omega" Lucian stated

" What ?" Tharn and I responded in shock.

" He said your mate is an Omega " Conri responded and there was a hint of amusement in his tone.

" No way " Tharn stepped back and raised his hands defensively.

" It will take a while to accept it but being mated to Tharn and Lovita brought out your omega genes. " Lucian pointed a finger at Tharn.

Tharn closed his eyes for a minute and then rushed out of Alpha Conri’s office and the door banged behind him.

" What the hell does that mean ?" I rubbed my face with frustration.

"It means that Tharn will bear your pups. " Conri stated.

" How does one handle such news ?" I whispered.

" You need to make your mate come to terms with it or he will throw a fit. Trust me I know" Conri spoke up and Lucian hit him with his elbow.

My eyes widened as I stared at Lucian in shock with the realization that he was an Omega. But someone had mentioned that Lucian was also an Alpha. What the hell was going on?

Lucian saw my confused expression and he burst out laughing. " You are right. I am an Alpha wolf. But being a Freki wolf. I also carry the Omega gene"

" Wow," my jaw dropped as I listened to his explanation.

" I know right " Conri’s smug face made me smile.

" The two of you are immortal, right? That is the only explanation" I pointed out.

Conri and Lucian neither denied or accepted it. I knew that it was my cue to leave Alpha Conri’s office.

" Thank you Lucian for letting us know. I appreciate it and will treat Tharn better" I nodded and then turned to Conri and said " Have a safe trip Alpha Conri.

I left the pack office feeling all sorts of emotions and rushed out of the pack office knowing well that Tharn had rushed home after the shocking news. I dialed Toten’s phone and he answered on the first ring " What is it? "

" I am rushing home and I need you to come. Tharn heard some news and he is in a panic" I answered.

" See you there" Toten responded and disconnected the call.
